• Samantha (10/5): Great host, great apartment! - Alessandra is a fantastic host & the accommodation is great. She was very responsive & helpful. We didn't see her in person but she seems very nice from her messages. The 4 Bedrooms are all separate & the beds are comfortable. 2 rooms have their own bathroom, one double & the twin share a bathroom. Showers were hot & spacious although it took a little while to get hot. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, there is a small lift for 1 person + luggage. The place was very clean & well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. Location is good with regular buses. It's near a main road but we only really heard sirens. The host gave us lots of useful info & restaurant recommendations too. We all recommend this accommodation. Thank you Allesandra for everything! It's very difficult to think of any negatives and the only thing I can really think of is that the chairs make a lot of noise when being moved so the neighbours may not like that much, perhaps a rug or some felt for the feet is needed. There were no negatives affecting us though. There's no lounge but a couple of rooms have sofas and we found the dining table was comfortable enough for all 8 of us adults to sit as a group for breakfast. We would've also liked to see a layout plan of the apartment in the photos.

Alessandra, die Vermieterin, ist sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar gewesen. 3 Badezimmer Heizung mit Klimaanlage Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis passt Für so viele Schlafmöglichkeiten ist der Essbereich und die Küche + Ausstattung etwas klein Probleme in der Küche und in den Bädern mit dem warmen Wasser

A disposizione a casa anche una macchina del caffè con delle cialde e bollitore Abbiamo segnalato che in uno dei bagni la cassetta dello scarico rimaneva un po' aperta, consiglio di sistemarla

• Ryan (10/5): Absolute wonderful host who made our stay in Rome wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!! - The property was located in a quiet and charming area of Rome. It was very secure, and felt very safe. There’s a convenient elevator for those who has mobility issues or if you need to haul luggage. The space is quite generous, with 4 bedrooms and plenty of beds to sleep on for a large group. Two of the bedrooms la have their own bathrooms, which is fantastic, and there’s another common bathroom out in the hall. It has a great kitchen and dining area for everyone to gather around the table to eat and chat. I love the whole setup of the place! It’s quite convenient to local eateries and grocery stores. But the best part about it is our host Alessandra who made sure our stay was nothing short of excellent. She was always helping us with anything we needed and was very attentive, making sure everything was always going right. She even baked us a cake!! Thanks Alessandra!!

• Paul (10/5): If you’re ever in Rome stay at the VMH Vatican Modern House. You’ll - Extremely comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of six adults. I can’t say enough about our host, Alessandra. She was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Additionally, my son’s suitcase was lost for 4 days. She continued to communicate with the courier for us and kept us updated. She waited until after midnight one night, so she could receive the call as to the time the suitcase would be delivered to the apartment that night. We could not have done this without her. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Rome, we will definitely stay here. P.S.This apartment is also very close to the Vatican. A bit of a walk, but enjoy the neighborhoods of Rome in route. We did the walk many times. No regrets. Absolutely nothing. Loved it❤️

• Traci (10/5): Great place to stay! - Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to the Vatican and St. Peter’s Square. Easy walk to Piazza Navona and Camp de Fiore. Alessandra was extremely helpful, calling cabs for us when needed to go somewhere further from the apartment. There’s a market, lots of bistro’s and a laundromat close by.

• Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The perfect place to stay in Rome! The apartment is very spacious and comfortable to share with friends and family. The rooms and bathrooms are fully equipped and clean and the location is very convenient. In addition, Alessandra is really an amazing host, which is not very common in places as touristy as Rome - she really cares about the place and making her guests happy and comfortable. She gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and I really appreciated her proactivity and kindness, especially as I came to Rome for my wedding and was a bit stressed. When Alessandra discovered the reason of our visit, she gave us cake and wine and wished us all the best, which was a very nice gesture and made the trip even more memorable. If you're looking for a clean place with a good atmosphere for a family holiday - this is the place to go!

She provided information above and beyond the duty of the host. She arranged taxis for us, she met all our needs as travellers. I would highly recommend this apartment and especially the host Alessandra. There was no issue. I was unaware that Rome closes in August so it was like a ghost town on the streets. Grocery markets open but not much else. I would not recommend visiting Rome in August.

• Nathalie (10/5): Amazing Stay! Perfect place to visit Rome - Amazing stay! Our host was so nice. She gave us all the tips that you need to visit Rome. She arranged each room according our needs. We had coffee and a nice cake when we arrived. Alessandra arranged for us also our taxi from airport+ the reservation at a very nice restaurant near the apartment (Papa Rex). The appartement is very large; 3 bathrooms with all you need (even hair-dryer) the rooms are big with air condition in each room. it's perfect for a big group like us (we were 9 persons) or a family. All is clean. The apartement is well placed; just in front; you have the bus. 20mins walk to the Vatican and 10mins walk for Carrefour market. Well; we couldn't have more convenient to enjoy our trip to Rome.

As someone who usually finds italian beds a bit short, I especially liked the very comfortable beds. Alessandra was also a very nice host who supported us with everything we needed and added to the great experience The appartement (and the neighbours) are a bit noisy. It didnt bother me at all, but one of my friends, who has a very light sleep, let me know.

• Lisa (10/5): Family gathering of 8! - Alessandra was very welcoming, providing some snacks, a delicious cake, and drinks upon check in which was such a nice touch! She was so helpful throughout the stay by assisting with round trip transportation to and from the airport and an early morning van to Termini for our whole group. She gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and a wonderful itinerary. We were 6 adults, and 2 older children and were all very comfortable in the 4 large bedrooms and 3 well appointed bathrooms. The neighborhood felt safe and was perfect for easy public transportation by bus or metro. A walk to the Vatican took about 10 min, and about 40 min to the forum. There are many restaurants and 2 grocery stores within a short walk. The showers were roomy and we never ran out of hot water. She had body wash and shampoo available as well as dishwashing liquid available for our use. There is a clothesline and pins on the patio for any items you may need to hand wash. I highly recommend VMH and am thankful to Alessandra for making my 50th birthday trip with Family such a wonderful experience! We have no complaints or have any additional suggestions.
