- Ashley (10/5): - Everything Nothing that I did not like
- Travel (9/5): First time at the property. Enjoyed it over the IHG hotels we've used in the area - Basic but hot and flavorful nothing
- Sean (10/5): - Great location to stay while visiting Austin Peay State University. Just a 5 minute drive to the campus and right off 24.
- Noel (10/5): - Front desk was very courteous; workout room was clean and spacious; appreciated the large fridge in our room since we had 2 coolers of food and drinks to store
- Josh (4/5): Poor customer service - Hotel didnt meet Marriott standards from the landscaping, to smell in the hotel rooms. Customer service was lackluster at best.
- Timothy (9/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): - I don't like having to type a review, I answered your ratings.
- DELORIS CURTIS (10/5): - I loved the room the arear the hotel was located a lot of restaurants in the area
- Lilly (10/5): - Great customer service, front desk very polite
- Selenia (8/5): An “okay” hotel option for a night or two. - This is a nice Hotel.
The price, okay.
Unfortunately because it’s located smack in the city, there is not much room outside. The photos fail to show that if there is an event or party going on ( as was the case upon my arrival) it looks and sounds routy. You’ll get a good wif of cigarettes and weed as you enter the main entrance. Because all the outdoor seating is directly in front.
The night desk clerk, not so hospitable.
The room was nice and clean, lovely kitchenette and bathroom. The caulk in the shower had some mildew.
The hotel was quiet. No bad smells.
Nice hot breakfast and good coffee.
Overall. I give it 4 stars.
- Jeremy (5/5): Hard bed, need new AC unit in some rooms - Very clean and Candace is ALWAYS very kind and helpful! Leo, the morning clerk. He asked how was everything. I said our AC did not work good. He never said another word?!
Also our bed was NOT comfortable at all!
- Darrell (8/5): - Always clean Everything was great except for the night attendant. She was rude when I tried to explain the charges—constantly cutting me off and using excessive hand gestures. I couldn’t even finish a sentence without being interrupted. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, listened, and handled the situation professionally.
- Leslie (10/5): Happy travelers - Great room. Definitely delivered what I expect from TownePlace Suites. (the suites are fantastic) Staff was friendly and welcoming (Candace) Great stay. Will definitely stay again. Love Clarksville.
- Theresa (7/5): -
- Dana (10/5): - Best stay ever!!! Nicest staff, cleaniest room, quiet safe and relaxing with a wonderful breakfast...HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!
- Joseph (8/5): - The woman who worked the front desk on Friday and Saturday evening (I can’t remember her name), was so nice. Friendliest person ever!
- Selinda (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (10/5): Great layover stop on the way home. - Wow, the shower was awesome, the size of the room and cleanliness was amazing. We were just there for one night on our trip back home, Would definitely stay here again if we are back down in that area.
- Joseph (10/5): - Everything was perfect, except for the pool. Its not heated, and was uncomfortably cold.
Definitely would stay here again!
- Jeremiah (4/5): - Housekeeping was not adequate (floors were not vacuumed prior to check in, shower drain was clogged, room smelled somewhat like body odor, dishes were not clean or put away). The front desk was fantastic and helpful (thank you Candice!).
- Margaret (3/5): Disappointing - It was clean and breakfast was nice The reason we stayed was for the indoor pool for our grand kids and it’s not heated, way too cold to go in .
- Spearman (8/5): Very good -
- Lolishia (8/5): - Should have had a king bed not a queen..
- Natalie (8/5): - Toilet contained to run needs to be fixed.
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Jeremy (10/5): Clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast - Very clean! Also Candace at night was sooo nice and kind! They daytime girl not so much, but could have been having a bad day? No problems
- Christopher (8/5): - Staff at check in was extremely kind and easy to talk to. The breakfast was delicious and was a hot breakfast with eggs and sausage and even waffles! One small suggestion, provide bottled water in the fridge for guests for purchase. Parking was easy. Bathroom was extremely clean and the shower was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
- Randy (10/5): - The lady working at the front desk was amazing! I liked the size of the room and that it was very clean.
- Dianne (9/5): Great stay, friendly, helpful staff - The place is attractive and clean. Staff was amazingly kind and understanding, even when I had to change the date of my booking. The suites are well laid out and you can even cook in your room if you wish or take advantage of the grills downstairs. Breakfast was provided and it was better than most places. They need a sign at the front door because the entrance is easy to miss.
- Kahla (10/5): - CANDICE WAS GREAT HELP AND SO SWEET
- Matthew (6/5): Pleasant - Facility was decent. The lady at desk during day was very comabative. We were told that housekeeping was done every other day unless requested. It was not done on second day and when we called she argued it with all she had. It ain’t make sense, even if it was done we requested a third day as we were told we could. The lady at desk at night was wonderful. I overheard her with customers and I would give her a 10. Staff at counter during the day
- Deprice (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (10/5): - The staff were great here and there was lots of food choices. My big turn off was that there was a soft spot in the hall way that I almost turned my ankle in on the 3rd floor. I seemed like the just covered something with carpet. There were also mildew stains in the shower, and the caulking was coming off on the bottom of the toilet in our bathroom. The suit was nice and the beds were great. I just feel that it is important to maintain a space better.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shirley (8/5): Great place to stay! - Very comfortable room. Appreciated the kitchenette! Excellent breakfast,
- Verified traveler (10/5): GREAT PLACE TO STAY - Great stay. Very friendly and helpful staff!
- Diane (10/5): - Our check in lady was so kind. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.
- kcronk (2/5): Won't make that mistake again!! - We stopped at this Town Place in Clarksville, TN on our way north, but will never do so again. Our experience started with a very unpleasant front desk person who not only never smiled, but made us feel like we were bothering them. The room was fine, but housekeeping failed to check on amenities that might run out - we had to call down for more Kleenex during a 1 night stay and the house phone wasn't working and my husband had to call the front desk on his cell phone. Also it seemed unusual that there was only 2 washcloths and 2 hand towels available, whereas I've always had 3 of each. Although we got to breakfast 25 minutes before closing, the food was almost gone and lukewarm, Only 1 omelet available, no bacon, just crumbs, dried lukewarm croissant breakfast sandwiches, and only enough batter to make 1/2 waffle. There was very little choice unless we wanted cold cereal. The kitchen staff never once came out to check the food, but was quick to close everything up just before 9:00. The only person we saw working at this Town Place that has a pleasant attitude was the morning front desk person when we left.
- Jodi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lori (8/5): - Everyone was wonderful and the hotel was great!!!
- Emmanuel (10/5): - Excellent atmosphere, wonderful service. Thank you so much for your hospitality and quality stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Customer service - Great experience! We always look for hotels with an indoor pool and free breakfast since we have kids and both were great! They even exchanged our room to be close to the pool during check in after I asked.
- Richard (10/5): - Friendly staff and clean overall
- Janice (10/5): - Conveniently located off I-24, quiet clean, friendly staff.
- Debbie (10/5): - Very nice! Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly! Enjoyed our stay!
- Sheonta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (8/5): Very good -
- Eunice (10/5): - Very nice rooms. Staff was sweet and helpful. Would stay again for sure.
- Tara (10/5): - We stayed overnight on the way from Denver to Atlanta and my husband said it was the most comfortable and clean bed he'd ever stayed in. The shower was hot and powerful, and the couch area with TV was comfy. Front desk service was delightful.
We did not eat or walk around the area so cannot comment on that. Highly recommend the hotel though!
- Belcher (10/5): Very refreshing to see a friendly hostess/check in person! Room was really nice, breakfast was great - Breakfast was really good, plenty of food. The hotel was really clean & accommodating! The night gal that checked us in was super nice & friendly! We will definitely stay here again!
- Tamika (10/5): Great - Everything N/a
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable! Very quiet. Excellent breakfast!
- Daniel (6/5): - We found bugs in our room. The water was barely warm for a shower.
- Yadilette (3/5): Poor -
- Dave (4/5): - Quite a few things didn’t work in the room including the toilet
- Julie (10/5): - I was there by myself for a funeral. I felt very safe and the room was very clean. The staff was so nice. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk to the lady who did the breakfast. Also, the bed was very comfortable.
- Dennis (10/5): - Updated, clean, comfortable atmosphere.
Had to move to another room all because no one could get into the room where the lightbulbs were stored (5pm).
- Heather (10/5): - The employee that checked us in was amazing. Super friendly and efficient.
- Trent (8/5): Very good -
- Betty J (10/5): - Excellent customer service!!! The room was exceptional!!
- Charlene (9/5): Nice facility just needs to be tweaked some - Breakfast wasn’t that good compared to other places I have stayed Breakfast and to high on your chip prices
- Michael (10/5): - Nice place
- Amy (6/5): - Honestly the hotel is great, very clean and the staff is very friendly. However when I booked my room I confirmed i was traveling with my pet. I paid for the non refundable room in advance but when I got to the location I was charged a 100$ non refundable pet fee that was not disclosed at booking. I feel this was very deceptive as I would have chosen another hotel at one of the several local hotels
- jonesboysmomma (6/5): Unsettling night - First the pros.
The hotel lobby is welcoming and clean. The bed was comfortable. Employees are friendly. I liked having a refrigerator as well.
Now the cons.
Our room was 228. Our windows were level to part of the roof. Like, we could have opened the windows and climbed onto it. When we got to our room, both of our windows were open about an inch. Ummm…what?! We wouldn’t have noticed if we wouldn’t have opened our curtains. That’s unsettling in the least. We closed them and locked them. Then, in the evening as we were winding down, I went to lock the deadbolt. It wouldn’t lock. Even my husband tried to lock it. We propped a small table up against it so it would fall if jarred. We both felt unsafe, but it was only one night so we rolled the dice. (Good news! We made it through the night!) There was also something broken on the bathtub wall and the broken piece was just sitting there on the tub. ???
The hot food was either too soggy or too dry. Potatoes, sausage (soggy) biscuits, and a fold over dry omlet. Not great.
Pictures attached.
- Karen (5/5): Ok - Good shower Room layout. Too small
- chuhy (10/5): Great stay! Great staff! **** - I had a large group in-house. The hotel is incredibly clean. The staff is amazing! Everyone is friendly and professional! Kudos to Neesya, the GM! She leads by example and pitches in where ever necessary to get the job done! Staff could not have been more accommodating. Special shoutout to Michelle who goes above and beyond!
My group had a lot of moving pieces and they handled it with grace.
The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds are nice and there’s a choice of pillows. The showers had great water pressure and nice shower heads.
The breakfast had a solid selection of options and was tasty. Breakfast area and lobby were spotless with touch-ups happening throughout the day.
Location, location, location! Walkable to anything you might want or need: tons of restaurants, Walmart, shopping mall (.2miles),and more.
This will be my go to when in Clarksville.
- Brian Wayne (8/5): - It was great
- Susan (10/5): - Greeted by friendly and professional staff! Room was designed perfectly! Temperature great!! Bedding was WONDERFUL!! Breakfast was great and convenient! Highly recommend!!
- Curious43230 (10/5): The best! - The best overall hotel experience I have had in a while. Very clean and excellent location. Close to so many restaurants and shopping. You don’t even have to get on the highway to get to WalMart. Every associate I encountered was so pleasant ! Good breakfast too! So refreshing to see ! Kudos to management!!
- Gloria (9/5): I would definitely stay again - It was a great stay The breakfast could use some work
- Allie (10/5): - Nice clean property with a Walmart and multiple restaurant options within walking distance. A little high in price but good location.
- Stella (10/5): Amazing people that work there... - From the time i walked in to the time i left everybody was just amazing..so helpful, so understaning, amazing people works there..the one that stood out was elizabeth she was the breakfast attended, she talked to me for a couple of minutes maybe she seen in my face i was going through something, she took the time to listen, to me thats very imporant...a kind heart ...
- Gary (2/5): - Liked nothing
- Gary (2/5): - The hotel room was dirty and old look never up dated since opening. The bathroom was nasty tiotal dump .
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Sheila (10/5): - Very clean place with good service.
- Zdzislaw (2/5): - The room was dirty and not cleaned, the plates in the cupboard were dirty (DISGUSTING).
- Allison (4/5): - Place is very nice but I know I reserved a room with two queen beds. I did not pay when I reserved room so I did not have a receipt to say what I ordered. I did not have this problem when I ordered my room for the next night in Knoxville. but I did pay in advance so I have a receipt
They said they were sold out and could not change my room. Pull out mattress had a stain. The air conditioner was extremely loud In bedroom. At the air vent.
- Sara (8/5): - The front desk employee was very nice. The hotel was quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): - Great stay, nice and clean hotel.
- Erin (10/5): - Suite was very roomy. I would stay here again.
- U3281JPericaj (2/5): Dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in - This room is so dirty. There is dog food everywhere - under the beds, beside the beds, in the bathroom, and under the table. There is a large dog bone under one of the beds, fingernails beside the window, a blue pill between the beds on the floor, there is a dirty dish in the cabinet, candy wrappers under the beds, whole goldfish crackers under the lounging chair, and the entire room is covered in dog hair. Me and my 8yr olds allergies are awful. The hotel is sold out, so we cannot get another room and all of the hotels in the area are complete booked. This room is disgusting.
The bed is comfortable, but I’ll be honest - my daughter and I need a good nights rest, so I’m not looking any closer at the bedding. Ignorance is bliss at this point.
- Carl (6/5): Not worth the price - This hotel is less comfortable than we expected especially considering what we paid for the room. Breakfast is made up of prepackaged foods only. Not worth the high price.
- David (10/5): - Great place to stay. Whenever we are staying at a hotel we look for Townplace Suites, they have always come through strong!
- Jordan (10/5): - Nice cozy room, nicely located within walkable distance of stores and restaurants.
- David (10/5): - Everything was top notch.
- Harry (8/5): Very good -
- ronnie (8/5): - The price was not worth it
- Caron (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (8/5): Beware the side entrance - Our room met our expectations, breakfast was fine, and the exercise center was clean and all in good repair.
However, we were on the first floor … no problem with noise or anything … near a side entrance that was more convenient than going through the lobby. There were two concrete steps up from the parking lot to the door without either a handrail or a ramp. How on earth did y’all get that past building inspectors or ADA rules? Anyhow, that was a little unnerving for senior travelers.
- Anitra (6/5): - WASTE of my money. No wifi and loud air/heating vent. Also on a Saturday night they closed the pool for regular maintenance treatment. No notice and our pool night was ruined!
Asked mgmt to switch rooms and was told the whole property is old and only a few have been remodeled with new venting systems.
Asked for compensation for at least a little bit and was refused.
