• Glenn (8/5): Morning walks and eveningsunsets - Location was perfect. You stepped out the door and you’re on the beach with a beautiful view over the Gulf. In the evenings, a picture perfect sunset way too every day. Long walks in any direction are possible so you can forget every day and just unwind. They have beach, umbrellas, chairs, tools to help search for things in the surf, just really nice. No real complaints. New owners taking over now, and we hope they maintain the feel and ambience of old Florida like this stretch of Casey Key has.

• Debra (9/5): Loved it!! - The condo was in a beautiful location and well taken care of. Everything needed was there, great to have umbrella's and beach chairs on hand to take on the sand. Would definitely go back and recommend. Super relaxing and the street was quiet. Clean on the whole but I did think the shower could have been scrubbed more.

• Joanne (6/5): The unit was not what we expected, needs a lot of work! - The location and view were amazing. The beach was very private and quiet. The unit needs a lot of work. All the HVAC vents were dirty and moldy. The blinds were consistently falling off. The coffee maker was rusted so much that the coffee in the carafe never stayed even warm yet hot. The bath towels and sheets were extremely worn & old, not difficult items to upgrade.The cabinet laminate was peeling off. Very disappointed in the quality of the unit!!!
• Kathrin (10/5): Grandiose Aussicht, toller Aufenthalt - Die Unterkunft war wirklich schön. Die Schlüsselübergabe mit Schlosscode hat im Vorfeld hervorragend geklappt. Wir hatten das Appartement im ersten Stock und somit eine absolute Aussicht auf den Strand plus Sonnenuntergang. Der Strand ist zur rechten Seite sehr weit zu laufen, zur linken gelangt man an den Pier. Strandutensilien stehen im Kleiderschrank. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die Kühlschranktür muss immer richtig rangedrückt werden, sonst schließt sie nicht und es piept immer. Hat n bisschen gedauert, bis wir drauf gekommen sind. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Keine Eismaschine, dafür Eiswürfelbehälter Betten sind bequem. Da es einen kurzen heftigen Temperaturabsturz gab, kann ich auch sagen, dass die Klimaanlage auch eine sehr gute Wärmefunktion hat. Alles war in feiner Ordnung Drei Nächte waren meinem Mann zu kurz Das ist Klagen auf hohem Niveau: Eine Zusatzdecke fürs Bett wäre ganz günstig gewesen. Sind nur drauf gekommen, weil die Temperatur für zwei/drei Tage von 26 Tag auf 4-8 Nacht Grad gesunken ist. Dementsprechend wurde die Klimaanlage zu einem sehr angenehmen Wärmespender. Allerdings ließ sie sich ohne weiteres nicht wieder abstellen. Wahrscheinlich haben wir uns nur ungeschickt angestellt. Wie gesagt, Klagen auf hohem Niveau. Wenn es nicht kalt geworden wäre, wäre es nicht aufgefallen

• JulieB (9/5): - Fantastic location right on the beach - exactly as pictured on the website. Two lounge chairs, two regular chairs and a two person hi-top table outside offered a good array of seating. The kitchen was adequately stocked and there were plenty of towels (and instructions on how to get more). Beach chairs and umbrellas are on site which was helpful. Questions were answered quickly. I would return and we could recommend this place to friends in a heartbeat! No baking sheets for pizza and cookies. We could not figure out how to turn off the kitchen light (never thought to call or email - I'm sure u would have gotten an answer quickly). I'm a bit particular about pillows and would have preferred more and firmer options but that's pretty picky!

• Kim (10/5): Absolutely fabulous. We will be back ! - We loved everything about this place. Location was fabulous being right on the beach with a great view from the patio. The condo more than met our expectations, providing us with everything we could possibly need. Just can't say enough about how much we have enjoyed our stay! The bed was a little soft, but my husband has had 2 back surgerys so he has a hard time with most every bed.

You need to bring your own food/beverages. This was a first floor accommodation with renters above. Could potentially be noisy. Suggest they provide you with an option to choose first or second floor.

• Aaron (10/5): Fantastic - There's an excellent view of the beach from basically all parts of the property. We loved how spacious it was compared to a normal hotel. The private beach access turned out to be an amazing perk when the weekend hit and the beaches got crowded. Overall, great location and great place to stay. We will be recommending to friends and family. The hot water was not very hot in the mornings. I'm assuming the hot water heater/tank could not keep up with all of the units occupied. The water temp in the afternoon was fine.

The 2nd floor unit view was just what we were hoping for. Nice restaurant options close by. The pullout bed was not worth using. There were also only sheets available, no top blanket, so I slept on the couch itself - this worked fine for me, but there were higher expectations regarding this.

• Jessica (1/5): DISAPPOINTED and TRICKED - Let me start by saying the location is top notch with direct beach access. But, upon entering the facility was disgusting! Immediately smelled like musty popcorn and mildew/mold. Any bait traps were out on plain sight that my 2 year old kept trying to get to. There was evident rust around the fridge door, air vent in ceiling, the only blanket provided for the pullout sofa was a very flimsy and cheap made wool blanket. I couldn’t stand to sit inside because of the odor, so we left and got a hotel. Spent numerous attempts to contact owners, the photos in the unit are NOT what you see. This is very misleading. The access and location to the beach

Poorly maintained-handle broken off refrigerator. Only I blanket which was the light quilt on main bed. The appliances were very old. Outdated dingy furnishings and decor. Not at all what it looked like on website. Entry door was filthy. No lounge chairs and umbrellas put up for guests at beach.

• Robert (8/5): Fantastic stay at Casey Key Retreat. Would - Loved direct access to beach. Loved the patio. Spacious for 2 people. Quality of some furnishings could be upgraded. Needs more hooks in bedroom and bathroom. Single chair uncomfortable. Parking was challenging at times.
• Mary (1/5): Beautiful view. Terribly rude staff. - The view was great. My cell phone was broken and I could text $50 early in fee. Called the 941 number to talk with someone? No answer so I called several times. Which pissed off the housekeeper. Went to property to check in on unit one other people were in the unit.t r then housekeeper that is what she called herself. Went in to unit one some was alredy in she then told me I was wrong? She told me that she was pissed off at me and wouldn't let me in until after 3. I upset her with the many calls. Said she was ready to quit her job. I apologize but was rude and shut the door on me. Return at 3:15 and room was cleaned and moved the other people in unit one to another unit? Talked with the people. We could have moved into the other unit if asked. Then on the day of check out got message on husband phone that the MANAGER/also know as housekeeper she said would be coming in early to check the air condition with an inspector at 8:30. She showed up and again asked very cool. NO!! I would not say at this property again I was so upset with the lack of communication and the rudeness of the person how was manager/housekeeper.
• Lisette (10/5): Exceptional - LOCATION! The apartment was super clean, which is really important to us. It was great to not have to deal with any insects, particularly roaches, as a Floridian, I truly appreciate that. It helps to not allow the trash to remain full. That was an excellent tip. I have no complaints. Looking forward to booking all 4 apartments for a big family stay. This property is absolutely amazing.
• Julie (9/5): Casey Key Retreat is a place that calls out “Come back soon!” - The place has a sweet cottage feel to it and had everything we needed. The private beach was an unexpected treat.
• Marina (10/5): A little paradise to relax so cosy! - The view from our unit was right on the beach. It was exceptional. Loved that we had seating on the patio to sit out at night to listen to the ocean. An extra blanket for the pull out bed would of been nice.

• S (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean, the view from the room was amazing. Didn't really speak with any staff but everything was taken care of. Minor items - the blinds in the bedroom and the living room had no string to lower them or close them. Also the microwave wave door on the inside was not cleaned well. I only used it a couple of times so it wasn't a big deal.

Such beautiful sunsets! - The condo is wonderful and having breakfast on the porch with such an incredible view was an every morning delight. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed eating with the view so much we ended up eating most of our meals at the condo enjoying the view and the sense that the beach was all our own.

• Kelly (9/5): Superb - Beachfront location. The place was very clean and a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen was well supplied. Thet owner provided beach accessories. It was easy to check in and out. This unit was on the ground floor. It was a quiet place to stay with the exception of hearing people walking upstairs. It sounded like the people upstairs had a toddler who wanted to run around.
• Markus (10/5): A fantastic family retreat, well maintained and equipped, great nature around you - Location is wonderful! Direct beach access, where you can watch turtles, dolphins, stingrays etc. The terrace and balconies provide you with leisure areas where you can lazily chill even during the hottest areas in the shadow. The appartment was well maintained and equipped. Lovely landlady and easy and quick communication. Nothing. It's a 10 out of 10.

• Carissa (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect and the beach was not over crowded. This was the perfect vacation with our young children. The kitchen was fully stocked and publix is right around the corner so it was easy to make sure everyone was full. There were even small shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom in case we forgot them. You don't need to bring towels because that is covered too. And if you under pack, you are also able to use their washer and dryer. Bonus was the firework shows all down the beach that we could watch for the 4th of July celebration.

• Melinda (8/5): other than the noise from the upstairs guest walking \stomping around after 11pm it was good - Loved the location, property was nice and clean. Property was nice size. Had everything that we needed . The upstairs guest you could hear walking around too much. was very noisy late at night with sounds of walking like after 11pm was woke up with them walking around sounding like stomping.
• Darrell (4/5): This property has the potential for our new place to stay - location good AC the most uncomfortable bed we have ever TRIED to sleep on. Like trying to sleep on a picnic table. The linens are of poor quality. We considered leaving at 2:00 am. but waited until 6:00 am. The high top table on the lanai had - guessing cotton candy on it and dirty. One of the lounge chairs was broken. We drove home completely exhausted A little TLC and small investments could make a good difference for the property.

We were given the wrong code for the key lock boxes, but we called the cell number and the representative was very pleasant and helped us quickly. The units were quite clean and ready for use. The bottom unit did smell quite musty and was dark due to lack of windows. The upstairs unit did not have an unpleasant odor.

From the Retreat to the entire Casey Key area. we can’t wait to come back! - The beach was so close, the water was warm and clear, saw a manatee, dolphins, a sting ray, sand dollars, and finding sharks teeth was cool. Restaurants/bars were limited in the area, but plentiful in a short drive.
