Ken San was such a welcoming, hospitable and helpful host, giving us recommendations for our Oki island trips and Sakaiminato (which we didn’t realise had so many cool local attractions!), all in perfect English. Hopefully we can come back and stay in the new hostel on Nishinoshima once it’s opened! Location was less than 15 minutes from Shichirui port, we had a really comfortable stay :) Nothing

- Emiel (1/5): Not recommended - We were quite disappointed by the host’s apparent desire to prioritize money over anything else. We made sure to do our dishes and clean the kitchen after dinner, but unfortunately, we mistakenly placed the crab remains in the wrong bin, as there were no clear instructions and the available bins were only labeled for "bottles and cans." We sincerely apologized and explained the situation, acknowledging the oversight. However, when we expressed that the 5000 yen cleaning fee seemed rather excessive (especially given that we had cleaned up and were simply in a hurry to catch a flight) the host responded by threatening to call the police on us. We also slept badly because the walls are made out of paper and the neighbour snored as if he was cutting down a forest.

- Cyril (10/5): It's called Destiny Inn for a reason! Very welcoming; - Kenny and Lumi were exceptionally kind. Very helpful and thoughtful. This is a very good place to stay, especially if you don't speak Japanese since Kenny and Lumi both speak English: they are always willing to give advice and tips, and always willing and ready to help. Also, the inn is pet friendly. Our rabbits had a great time too.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - 요나고 여행을 여러번 갔지만 이번 숙소는 정이 느껴져서 더 기억에 남는 여행입니다 사카이미나토역과 가까운 거리에 숙소가 있고 잘 관리된 일본식 주택에서 이틀을 머물렀네요 Rumi님 한국분이셔서 든든했고 주변 관광지나 맛집을 자세히 알려주셔서 안심하고 다녔습니다 4인실에 3명이 머물렀고 방안에 욕조와 화장실이 있어서 편했고 주출입구가 별채여서 더 편하게 다녔습니다 다시 간다면 또 머물고싶은 숙소입니다 혼자 여행도 좋고 가족,친구들과도 머물수 있는 숙소 추천합니다 렌터카 이용했고 주차비 하루 5백엔입니다 조식은 숙소옆 까페 5백엔으로 간편하게 먹어요
- かずお (8/5): - 部屋にハンモックがあり子供達は大喜びでした。 部屋もキレイで清潔、トイレも男性は座って用を足すよう注意書きがあり清潔に保たれていて好感が持てました。 夜ご飯は外で食べますので問題はありませんが、朝ご飯は隣でちょっとした物が食べれるのですが子供が小さいと食べれない可能性あります。 周りに無いので朝食は少し注意が必要です。 お風呂はボードに使用者を書く予約制です。早いものがちになります。 夜の水木しげるロードを歩いて散策出来る宿です。とても居心地の良い宿でした。

- タカエ (6/5): - 宿泊した日は利用者が少なかったようで、気を遣って頂いて、予約していなかった個室を案内して下さったり、お薦めのお店等も丁寧に教えて頂けて、助かりました。
- AYAKO (8/5): - スタッフの滞在がない施設でしたが、 ここの部屋に鍵もあり安全さがありました。 子連れだったので、 子どもが遊び始めてしまうと、 部屋中に音が聞こえてしまうことがあり、 ☆4つにしました。 その点含めて、気にされない方☆5だと思います。 オススメの夕食場所は とても満足な場所でした。

- Lincoln (8/5): Very good - Good location for the kitaro street. Near the station. Very clean, the owner is interested in traveling. I would have preferred somewhere more secure for my bicycle
- AKINOBU (10/5): - 水木しげるロードにも近く、境港では海鮮が驚くほどの鮮度と価格で食べられるので、観光の拠点に最適です！ 宿は、リフォーム済の部屋、各種サービスがしっかりしていました！利用はしませんでしたが、細かな有料サービスも配慮があり、モンベル会員はタオル無料など細かなところにもサービスがありました。 台所は持ち込みの食品を調理したり温めたり、冷蔵できるスペースもあるので持ち込みにも適しています！
