• Albert (10/5): Great accommodations near old Chiang Mai. Don't miss staying here. - This was our second time staying at the White Elephant Home and we would gladly stay there again. First, it is easy to reach from the airport. If you chose a taxi which we did on our first stay super easy, if you drive it isn't bad. It helps reviewing the route on map first. Rooms are very comfortable. We have stayed in two room types. This time was more traditional hotel room layout. We had a nice view of the parking/courtyard area. The staff are wonderful, same from last visit. That should tell you something. The business has a laundry located at the entrance. Laundry is inexpensive and with a fast turnaround. Multiple breakfast options prepared quickly and delicious. Neighborhood is safe and easy to walk if you want. Less than five minutes to walk to the Chang Phuak Night Market. Air conditioning is fabulous. We were there when it was over 90F/32C the AC kept it comfortable. I don't know, they could have let us stay free of charge! :) As I said it's wonderful.

What’s more important is that my room was very quiet and I slept very well every day. I’d prefer a buffet breakfast though I know it would be impossible for a family-run hotel.

Very quiet location, great to be able to park on-site. We had a quick breakfast as we had things to do but it was delicious. Were British so teabags and milk in the room would have been great. Most hotels in Thailand dont have milk.

Très calme car en retrait de la rue. Chambre très confortable. Décoration soignée Très grand lit. Beaucoup de place. La chambre est un peu sombre mais elle donne sur un mur végétalisé. Faible insonorisation avec les voisins qui ne sont pas discrets à minuit. Mais l'hôtel n'y peut rien.
• Jürgen (10/5): - Zentrale Lage, die Altstadt ist in 15 min. zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Trotzdem ruhig ohne Verkehrslärm. Gute Hinweise der Besitzerinnen zu Märkten, Strassenküchen und Restaurants. Frühstück war ausreichend, Kaffee konnte nachbestellt werden. Guter Wäscheservice.

• CHEN (7/5): 很喜欢也很不错，如果没有意外，我会给到接近满分的评价，因为水真的太小了 - 酒店的地理位置很不错，就在城边，离一条可以吃饭的夜市很近附近也有711总体吃住都是不用操心的。员工的服务都非常好，非常热情，会帮你推荐行程规划，去哪里玩、哪个市场几点开门都会告诉你，整体的服务很不错，可以说满分，淡季住在这里也很清净，装修风格也比较家庭田园，很放松的感觉。 1.房间的水太小了，没法舒服的洗个澡是真的； 2.很不幸，我在进入大门的木板上摔了一跤，木板坏掉了，我踩空导致跌倒。万幸是我的骨头没事也只有我一个人受伤，酒店有比较陈旧的部分，希望酒店能在这个木板上做出改善，避免我这种事情发生，随后最后是皮外伤，但距离我写下评论已经过去6天，我的手臂仍然很疼，当然这只是意外谁也不想的，我也十分感谢酒店的员工陪我去医院，并且他们承担了医药费，但请一定杜绝这种事情再次发生！

Parcheggio comodo L'acqua della doccia non era veramente calda e la zona per esplorare la città è un po' decentrata. Vicina però a uno street market notturno e alla fermata dei taxi per Doi Suthep.
• Kristin (10/5): The best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Thailand!! - The people who run this place are fantastic - definitely some of the best I've come across. My husband and I are both in agreement that this hotel (although hotel doesn't really feel like the right word... it feels more bed & breakfast) is the best place we stayed in on our latest travel trip (5 weeks in Taiwan and Thailand ). Honestly, we stayed at 8 hotels while on this trip and I would only recommend this hotel (and the Holiday Inn Express in Taoyuan [25 mins from the airport]). I liked everything - the staff, rooms (deluxe family room for us), breakfast & their coffee = 5 stars. If we ever do go back to Chiang Mai, we would 100% stay here again. If you do go to Chiang Mai, stay here and definitely go to the Fern Forest Cafe and The Old City Spa - pure heaven. Oh, and it was also the best value out of all the places we stayed. (I have photos, but they're on my phone & I'm writing this using my laptop, so maybe I will revise this at a later date) NOT ONE THING!

Dies hat unseren Aufenthalt in Chiang Mai besonders gemacht, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab immer Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants, aber nicht zu aufdringlich, immer im richtigen Maße. Sehr gute Lage am nördlichen Rand der Altstadt, täglich Wasser, Frühstück a la carte, Laundry Service. Duschvorhang im Bad, Bad nicht ganz so modern und etwas klein. Portionen beim Frühstück sind relativ klein (zumindest für einen Mann ;))
• Iesha (10/5): Perfect! - I had a wonderful stay at the White Elephant Hotel. The location was perfect — just a 5-minute walk from the market and around 15 minutes from the centre of the Old Town. The Old Town itself is packed with great bars and restaurants, making it an ideal spot to explore. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, cooked fresh every morning, and a great way to start the day. But what really made the stay special was the staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. We walked to the Muay Thai boxing stadium which was a great night. We also booked a day with the elephants and the hotel is located within the free pick up which was helpful. I would definitely stay again. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay! The shower wasn’t as warm as I usually like but the cold weather probably made it feel colder than it was. Wouldn’t stop me coming back.
