- ozturk (4/5): You can stay overnight but not for long stays. - Good location The shower is bad. Even though I paid at the entrance, they asked for money again at the exit. The rooms are clean but there is no TV.
- Valentina (6/5): - The hotel is near the ferry, 10 minutes by walk.
The breakfasts is good.
The room is big. Need some maintenance.

Merkezi konumda. Otantik bi yer. Temiz ve lüks beklemeyiniz. Kapı anahtarları güvensiz.
- Victoria (10/5): Great value and good location - I had a great three night stay here. It was in a good location, safe. There were lots of Tuk Tuk if you need a ride. That room was clean and the air conditioner was good. Breakfast was OK. Good value.✅

- Rene (7/5): Good - Great location! And very affordable.
Mosquito free rooms and good A/C Only cold showers
- Andrew (7/5): Decent cheap hotel close to the Zanzibar ferry - Good location- cheap - functional Instructions for finding the place need to be improved - the directions sent me to the road behind not pleasant with luggage and the humidity. Shower was poor- door security was poor the lock barely worked and it looked like the door had been previously forced. Breakfast was just about passable.
- Candida (8/5): Very good -
- Eroy (7/5): Good - Closeness to the SGR STATION Not well repaired, Water wasn't good, smell on the walk way to the staircases.
- Sreerag (1/5): Bad -
- Sally (5/5): Passable -
- Fernando (8/5): confortable - i like the location, it's quiet
- Hani (3/5): Poor - Location Not professional, payment only cash in local currency, they didn't give me the change, the didn't serve breakfast due to Ramadan
- Komuhendo (10/5): Exceptional -
- A (5/5): Passable -
- Osangir (10/5): Great - Staff en services Nothing
- Reijmes (5/5): other than the mentioned points, quite pleasant. - There was no Breakfast as it was Ramadhan wich i do not mind. however, it should not be advertised to be included in the price online if they can not serve it due to religous events or other potential reasons. the staff was very friendly and helpful as they assisted with hot water for my daughters porridge. all in all a good place for a short stay but not recommended for staying for longer than 2 to 3 days. 1. lack of clear communication between the staff and the owner(s) towards the prices advertised online as they claimed that the online prices were not in sync with the current shilling rates. after double checking we found that they are indeed slightly different. it will save your staff and your clients a lot of confusion if the rates that are advertised are checked regularly by management to ensure issues like this do not occur.
2. the shower facilities did not have any hot water. I could see from the state of the bathroom/shower that the maintanence had not been done for a while. also on the website it was advertised that there would be toiletries, Towels and other small sanitary items, but we found no towels nor any of the above advertised items. i must note that when asked for, they provided the towels without delay. but as an advice, it is always good to have these things ready in the room when clients arrive.

- Fee (1/5): Straight out of a horror movie - The only good part was that it had air conditioning Already from the outside it looked super shady. The whole building is so unwelcoming, I didn’t feel comfortable at all. When I saw the room I was even more shocked… It was giving David Lynch setting. The bathroom was in a bad condition and all surfaces were kind of filthy. This was by far the scariest hotel I have ever stayed at. Thankfully it was just a short night. (P.s.: they only let you pay in cash, which they don’t let you know in advance)
- Msemwa (9/5): Superb -
- Lei (9/5): Superb - Friendly and efficient staff
Large rooms with desk
Comfortable beds
Powerful AC
Central location
Excellent value for money Not much of a view from the third floor balcony (south-facing)
- Lei (9/5): Superb - Lovely place and staff. Safe, comfortable, convenient (Dar CBD is very walkable). Enjoyed it so much I extended my stay. Not much of a view from the third floor balcony (south-facing)
- Marie (1/5): Friendly amd lovely staffs. Specially Maria. - Location and the staffs Dark hallways.
- Janina (7/5): Okayisch room in execellent location - location just 700m from the ferry port, quiet area, friendly and helpful staff
Mosquito net full of holes, room not cleaned too well but no bigger complaints
Just a bit too expensive for the points of criticsm.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Very central , for the money paid it was perfect . People pay so little and they ask for perfection. This has no logic . The owner is very polite
- Abdul (8/5): Good for Short stay in middle of Dar - Walking distance to Jetty/harbour. Nearby few local restaurants. 15-20 minutes drive to airport A bit outdated albeit it’s relatively clean. Some of the light didnt work
- Msemwa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marovatsanga (8/5): Dr - Location All well
- Daiki (8/5): Very good - Good location, it's easy to access ferry port, room A/C and Wi-Fi are working well.
- Benedikt (6/5): Will do for a night if you’re on a budget - Good location, nice staff You don’t want to spend too much time here. Noisy and not the cleanest.
- Kevin (7/5): Good - Location is easily accessible from the airport by Uber/Bolt and a 5 minute walk to the SGR station. You get everything you need besides a bottle of water in the room. Staff is very friendly and assist whenever possible. Really quick and simple check in and check out process. Don't really have anything negative since I checked in at night and left for the Train station early in the morning.
- Walker (9/5): Superb -
- Bilal6601 (8/5): Very good - In city center close to the ferry terminal and easy access to airport with uber. Very clean, very secure and operational facilities
- Manuel (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (6/5): Pleasant - Excellent location. Suspicion of bug infestation.
- Josephine (9/5): Great place to stay in Dar - Friendly and helpful staff, room with everything you could need; fan, good shower (air con and hot water if you need). Quiet, and my room had a balcony overlooking a beautiful, big tree.
The breakfast man makes a great omelette. Nothing! It's a bargain!
- Kariuki (9/5): Kib - The stay was good though I was only staying in the evening till morning. They only currency they accepted was Tanzanian shillings. The hotel should also accept foreign currency or credit cards.
- Rahma (3/5): Poor -
- Anildel (7/5): Good - Proximity to city centre and cheap price Basic and bare minimum facilities
- Anildel (7/5): Good - Location in city centre Basic and bare minimum facilities
- Julika (9/5): Superb - The staff was really nice and the rooms were nice enough. One of the rooms didn't have lights in the bathroom.
- Paolo (7/5): A bit shaggy but safe and conveniently located, and staff are very kind. - Warm welcome and very kind staff - upon request I was even allowed, as a courtesy, to stay a bit longer and enjoy a late checkout as my onward transport was in the afternoon. The hotel is very conveniently located at walking distance from both the ferry terminal and the SGR train station. The place is a bit rundown and could definitely use some renovation work.
- Mohamed (10/5): Highly recommended - Staff super friendly and really kind. You can see how much they care about guests.
Location is some mins walking from the city centre and main port.
Breakfast it was really nice.
Rooms with AC, towels, soap and personal WC
- Basha (8/5): Very good - The staff were so helpful and friendly .It's located in the centre of the town and the place is very quiet.
- ANGEL (6/5): - Dirty neighborhood. Difficult to find the place. No attention on the telephone to find what number of the street was the property. Ugly city.
- Elkana (4/5): Disappointing - They need to change breakfast item to meet standard of other's do They need to improve like others hotels
- T. (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ting (8/5): Not bad - Good location, close to the ferry and many markets near by. Property is A lil old.
- Gaiko (9/5): Excellent - Hamida (front office), Ombi (house keeping) and a few others made my first solo travel magnificent and memorable. They assisted in getting to my destinations and always present to help. There were two ladies, I believe the management team who organized for an early check in as my room was still occupied. They asked me to use the room and rest until my room was ready. God bless Kibodya 6 team. It is a walk away from the ferry, restaurants, Museum of Tanzania, Kariokor market etc. Vary the breakfast a little bit i.e. white tea could also be an option. Some of us are tea lovers.....more tea please 😉.
- Nafisahmed (8/5): Very good -
- Mwenda (7/5): Good - Good for the value of money paid. Good WiFi and AC Rooms are a bit dirty . 313 shower isn't working very well
- Lindsay (6/5): Nice enough for a quick layover before heading out on the ferry - Air conditioning in the room, hot water in the shower, close location to most everything in downtown Dar, nice breakfast included in the morning. The whole process was a bit clunky. You have to leave the key at the front desk every time you leave and collecting it again was never a quick or easy process (usually a line and then the staff searching for where they put your key). Got a lot of unwanted attention as foreigners from other people staying there. All in all a strange vibe, not very welcoming. Door lock could be pushed in with a good shoulder shove so also didn’t feel our valuable we’re very secure in the room
- Inna (7/5): Good - The hotel is not bad, close to the railway station. Breakfast is the usual bread with butter and an egg. The only minus is that there is very little water in the shower.
- Jerome (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jerome (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bike (9/5): Superb -
- Kurilich (7/5): Good - I liked the location and AC, big towel. The hotel was made last century maybe. Everything is so old.
Breakfast is very pure. Not good
- Nyamsabhi (7/5): Good -
- Shihhsiang (9/5): Superb - Very central location that was easy to get to the ferry port by walk. A supermarket nearby. The staff were very friendly and well organised. To the room, a good aircon equipped. Seemed only cold water though it was ok to the hot climate.
- Hassan (4/5): The owner have to improve the cervises - Services guy is very slow 1. Space for tea services is too small
2. There is no telephone is the room to communicate with reception
3. No. television in the room
4. No automatic hitter for warming hot water
- Mbatta (5/5): Passable - Staff responses and location Unavailability of TV service in rooms
- Ann (7/5): Good - Budget accommodation, plain and simple, but central and clean. Walked from the ferry. Appreciated the fan and Aircon.
- Narayan (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast is very bad. change the menu.
- Ellaine (9/5): Superb -
- Miller (5/5): My stay was not as comfortable as expected. - They did move me to a better room when I pointed out the sockets in the initial room were not in goood order. they helped with my suitcases to the room. At first I was displeased because the electricity sockets were broken one was actually out of the socket and wire left exposed. the one that should have worked did not. The staff could have been more courteous and the area was noisy
- Peter (4/5): Disappointing - at least had mosquito net Old house, not hot water..only provided in buckets.
- Pablo (5/5): Passable -
- Jule (10/5): Perfect value for money - super central, super friendly! - Very central location! Good value for money!
Staff was exceptional! Breakfast was really nice and served by a friendly man, who was really looking after you! The mosquito net was a little annoying, was hanging in my face :D but we didn’t see any mosquitos anyway so it was fine!
- Mohammad (1/5): Bad - No card payment facility Dirty
- Mkuburo (8/5): Very good - Increase ventilation and right
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Octavian (1/5): No reason to be listed on booking.com if they don't respect the rules - When my wife arrive to property they told no more room If they cancell booking, they need to tell us before, in my booking i told when my wife arrive to property
- Anwar (7/5): Good - Breakfast was ok but would like have milk tea/ coffee options in the morning
- Aziz (5/5): Passable - Need to renovate the place Jst he need to renovate the place
- Ali (3/5): Poor -
- Mtemeri (10/5): Exceptional - The staff gave a warm welcome. The rooms were clean and ,also a secure environment.
- Agnelli (8/5): Very good -
- Tyler (10/5): A great value location close to central to Dar es Salaam! - Breakfast was fulfilling and available for a long period (7am-10am). You can request the front desk for when you want your room to be cleaned rather than having the staff come in unexpected. The location is close to central Dar es Salaam and many local eating options are available nearby. Especially in Kariakoo. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. AC was available in my room, the patio deck was a nice addition, and the room was large. Check-out options are limited and can occur between 10:30am-11:00am.
- Yann (7/5): It's OK if you stay for one or two nights, but it isn't really a nice hotel. - The bed and the bathroom were clean. The hotel isn't nice and the whole establishment isn't really clean.
- Abdulhafidh (10/5): The hotel is very good. - I checked out very early before breakfast.
- Bonnie (7/5): Decent stay for the price - Close to the ferry, nice staff and good that you can ask to take away breakfast. Very simple room, good for a quick stay where you don’t need a lot. Rooms could be a bit nicer and maybe a terrace or pool or other central room, but I understand that for the price it’s okay.
- Mchaki (10/5): Exceptional - The protery is good but the breakfast wasnt even they dont have menu
- Mikhail (9/5): Superb - Everything is great. Cozy hotel next to the ferry. Good value for money. There is no hot water.
- Abdelhadi (9/5): It was comforting - The staff was very helpful and welcoming
Not the most fancy hotel but it sure is clean and very comfortable
The free wifi accessibility and speed was very good
Good healthy breakfast
The hotel is located in a very strategic place where you can be close to best places in the city
And to top it all the price compared to all of this is very reasonable Not a bad thing but aworking power generator would be a very good addition to the hotel since the city is know for it's electricity cutting from time to time
- Marion (1/5): Laptop and phone were stolen. No refund given. Do not stay at this hotel. - My laptop and phone were both stolen at this property. CCTV footage confirmed 2 men disguised as customers, accessed my room, and stole my belongings. The receptionist breached check-in protocol by permitting the 2 thieves access to the hotel without taking any form of identification documents. I reported the matter to the police. The hotel offered little assistance to this matter and didn't show any concern, remorse, or goodwill that my belongings were stolen. This hotel is not secure. The price is appealing, but the risk of staying at the hotel is too high. My laptop and phone were both stolen at this property.
