- Olga (10/5): Very nice room and good location for departure from Edinburgh. - Location close to airport and bus station. Very clean, comfy bed and shower, easy self check-in. The towel dryer in the bathroom did not work.
- Ajay (9/5): Reasonably good stay at Edinburgh - Very nice location. just a stone's throw from bus stop. some reasonably good eating options in walking distance. the room was good, clean and met the expectations i had after looking at the pictures on booking.com
- Anonymous (5/5): Ok but review don't line up with the experience. - It was only about 15 minutes from the airport. It felt like the owner has mailed it in. Little things make a big difference and don't cost a lot. For example, we each got one towel for showering, no washcloths or hand towels. No bottled water was provided or any biscuits to go with the tea. The water pressure in the shower was bad. It was also a warm couple of days in Edinburgh and with no air conditioning it would have been nice to have a fan or some way to cool off the room at night. Also, very plain decor. Could have hung some more pics to make it feel less like an afterthought. These extra "amenities" might cost to owner about 10 pounds or so and would make a huge difference in the experience. We will not be staying here again.
- Brian (9/5): A great place to stay. - Very nice clean room and bathroom, comfy bed, good location, bus into town every 15mins stops right outside, would recommend. No breakfast.

- Pippa (10/5): A clean and comfy place for a family to stay with easy links to attractions - We thought the property was lovely. Our room was perfect, as a family of 3 (inc a toddler) we had so much room for all of our luggage and plenty of sleep space. The location was ideal with a short bus trip to our planned activities (zoo and city centre). The bus stop was right outside the accommodation. Our room was very clean, with an en-suite, tv and 3 beds. We were very comfortable and relaxed. N/A
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional - Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet.

- Malinda-ro (9/5): A good location with easy bus access to airport and into city centre. The owner was also helpful. - Liked the location as it was on a bus route in and out of the city and to the airport. Although on a busy road the rooms were out the back of the property and you couldn't hear traffic. The owner was very helpful with tips and information. The room was clean.
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Struthers (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (9/5): Superb - Very good sized room, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great for catching the bus into town with stop right outside. Bit difficult to turn into off the road but by no means a big issue.
- Faye (8/5): Fabulous for easy travel to Royal Highland Centre and City Centre. Perfect for a simple short stay. - Brilliant proximity to Royal Highland Centre and City Centre.
Spacious room with garden view. Good parking on and off road. Not luxury accommodation but exactly as described and ideal for a simple short stay.
Very helpful host who went out of his way to find and forward helpful bus travel details.
Would use Craigievar again in future.
- Stefan (9/5): Superb - Clean and spacoius room
Very friendly host
Close to the airport
Good public service connections A bit far from the town center
- Anonymous (10/5): Great room Great host - The host was great and really helpful. Lovely room really clean and really nice clean bathroom.
Great connections to the city centre
- Rita (9/5): Superb - Lovely place with great accommodations.
Near bus station to the airport of Edimburg
- O (10/5): Exceptional - Great location bus stop outside the house. Spotless clean, warm, and comfortable. Great host allowed us to check in early due to early flight and then kept our bags until we were going to the airport N/A
- Carole (9/5): Clean comfortable accommodation - very close to public transport - Very handy for public transport- No problems
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Johnnmon (9/5): Location good, room good - I left too early for breakfast. The gentleman who let me in was very nice. The telephonist was unhelpful - I had to book my own taxi. This would be fine if the toom cost 30 Euros, but it was 147 pounds and she wouldn't even give me the name of a taxi company (I needed to leave at 04.30).
- Mariya (10/5): Amazing stay - The hosts were amazing. We arrived around 12 and they already gave us the keys to the room, took our luggage in and gave us umbrellas because it was a very rainy day. The room was very cozy, had everything that we needed. The location is great - there is a bus stop right in front and you can easily get to the center or the airport.
- Elodie (9/5): 2 nights : visit Edinburgh & early flight - Self check-in & checkout, very practical when you have to leave for an early flight or arrive late. No breakfast but a mini bar fridge and a kettle to boil water. Parking available. There is really space in the room, all good.
Super localisation to visit Edinburgh also, with the bus it is perfect! We stayed 2 nights and we put on the door of the room "do not disturb" because we do not want a cleaning when we stay only 2 nights. But they came in the room, cleaned and removed our "do not disturb".
- Alison (9/5): Great stay in great location - A great stay. This guest house was so welcome after travelling around the countryside. The host was thoughtful and everything was provided and the room was clean and tidy. The modern bathroom with ample space was fantastic and a lot of thought was put into that. Buses into the city were easy to catch and very regular. The bathroom air extractor wasn't working but this was a minor point.
- Kang (10/5): Comfy guesthouse - Ideal location with the bus stop right in front of the guest house. Bus #17 from airport.
Spacious room for family of 4.
Walking distance to nearby McDonald's as well. Toilet/shower room floor is fairly cold even in summer season when temperatures hit a low of 10degrees at night. Maybe good if there's provision of room slippers.
- Bettger (9/5): Superb -
- Katy66 (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks for a perfect stay will b back ..convenience was excellent in and out .
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elliot (9/5): Superb -
- Jeanette (8/5): Most enjoyable - Location was good. Bus stopped outside for travel into Edinburgh.
Friendly owner. Would have liked a breakfast to start the day but cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (9/5): Worth to stay - It was nice and clean guest house
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Tiani (4/5): Convenient location but not worth the price overall - Convenient location from airport and busstop. Free parking. We would have preferred more towels and better toiletries. This is not a true B&B as there is no breakfast. Insta coffee in the room tasted God-awful. The room felt humid. And check out was at a prompt 10 am instead of 11am. Definitely not worth the price I paid!
- Katrina (8/5): Very good - Large room, comfortable bed, very clean, easy access to town on the number 31 bus, stop outside accommodation.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Vlado (9/5): great location for visiting Edinburgh - Perfect place to visit Edinburgh. The location is close to the airport, there is a bus service to the city centre right from the hotel. There are also groceries nearby.
- Wood (9/5): Superb - All was as expected Hot water supply to basin was slow and luke warm and the bathroom extractor was very noisy.
- Kenneth (9/5): perfect location for us -
- Lewis (10/5): Perfect stay - The property is right next to the bus stop (a 15-20 minute trip into the city centre).
There is also free parking on the drive.
The house is more of a hotel in my eyes. As soon as you enter, you are met with a lovely hallway with the rooms spread out.
In your room is a lovely bathroom, bed, fridge, kettle and a tv. Everything you need!
There is a Tesco nearby and McDonald’s if needed. Everything was brilliant
- Narender (5/5): Passable - Location and Cleanliness, Beds were really good. Exhaust fan was not working in bathroom. It was uncomfortable due to closed room. Out of three nights, two nights, the room heater was not working. As per my request, extra electric heater has been provided but, it was not comfortable. It would have been good if oven provided for my son to drink warm milk.
- Ian (10/5): It was lovely, clean, comfy bed, room spacious, very little noise, a lovely shower -
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, easy and quick access to town centre and the main train station. Close to the airport. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. The bathroom is, modern and a good size and spotless.
I needed to print a document and the owner was very helpful in locating somewhere in the city centre. Nothing as far as I am concerned.
- Ina (10/5): Spacious clean room, close to the airport and close to the bus stop. Contactless check-in and check-out, comfortable bed - Spacious clean room, close to the airport and close to the bus stop. Contactless check-in and check-out, comfortable bed
- King (10/5): Exceptional -
- Achilleas (10/5): Exceptional - everithing was perfect, our room was big, clean and quiet without any noise, also our bed was so comfortable and the location was so nice in a quiet neighborhood only 15 minutes far from the city center..if I'll come back to Edinburgh ever
again i will choose the same room to stay for sure
- Zulfahanim (10/5): Excellent - Easy to find and near to the airport
- Lesley (8/5): Very good - Didn't have breakfast but we were allowed to put our bags in early which was an excellent bonus.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location to go to the city by bus and also to the airport!
- Gurdeep (10/5): Exceptional - Nice place 👌
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Lovely large room with a spacious ensuite. Not that we used it, but there was a fridge for our use. Very accommodating re parking, as we attended an event at Murrayfield before booking in.
- Crystal (8/5): Nice and close to the airport - great option if you are arriving on a late flight. - Really close to the airport with excellent bus services. Bus stop was right outside the guest house and very easy run into the city centre. The rooms were adequate, nothing special. It was self check-in. Very small bathroom.
- Russell (9/5): Nice Room - Nice renovated room and was very clean
Close to airport
Shops within walking distance
- Chantal (9/5): Would return there and recommend it. - Corena is a nice host, discreet yet you can feel that she cares about your being pleased with her accomodation. Very near the airport but that was not important for us. The wonderful # 31 bus stopping right in front of the house is taking you right to Prince's street where most of the action is (or starts) in about 20 minutes. This bus line seems to take you everywhere in the city or almost and is running very often. I heartily recommend staying there. We were a few days and the price is quite good I think. Would have liked to have breakfast served but even without it was more than okay. We had a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities though.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were very welcoming and the room and access was great.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (9/5): Very comfortable - Extremely clean and comfortable. Very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. I was visiting Edinburgh to spend some time with my son and to get to where he was staying I really needed to turn right but the road didn't allow me to do that.
- Lynn (8/5): Great stay. I would rebook again. - I didn’t have breakfast and not sure if it was offered, to be honest. The room was in a little house behind the main house so it was quiet. The room was large and quite comfortable. There wasn’t anything i didn’t like about this property other than not realizing it was about 5 miles outside of Edinburgh so not walkable but it was a nice place.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Clean, affordable close to downtown bus route, shopping, restaurants and the airport. Really no to much bad to say.
- Edward (9/5): nice large clean property on west edge of Edinburgh - large, clean & nice room. it got a bit cold overnight but a plug-in heater is provided. I suggest you use it.
- Tinsey (9/5): Superb - Highly recommended if you travel by car and are heading to the airport next morning
- Ricky (8/5): Very good - Close to the airport. Very clean
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (7/5): Good -
- Michael (7/5): We will be back. - Location ideal for parking and public transportation into the city. Owner very pleasant and helpful.
- AgnÄ— (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cameron (9/5): Superb -
- Gerard (7/5): Good -
- Ah (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - bathroom Fan was very noisy
- Susan (10/5): Perfect for a short stay, and possibly for a longer one - The location is very close to the airport, Also, the room was clean, well cared for,, and spacious. The proprietor took the time to personally introduce me to the accommodations and was very pleasant and helpful. There was plenty of parking on the premises in front of the building. I had some difficulty finding the guest house, because I could not see the addresses from the road as I drove by, I would have appreciated having some landmarks to assist me in advance. Nevertheless, the proprietor was very helpful in making sure that I arrived at my destination.
- Ryan (7/5): Good - Would have liked back outdoor area to be tidy with decent furniture. After travelling would have been nice to sit outside and have a drink
- Reeja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dana (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (8/5): Cosy and comfortable - The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. It was away from the traffic noise and mostly quiet. It had a kitchenette but very little in it. A kettle, two cups, saucers and teaspoons. There was nothing to clean the cups with. However, the room is serviced daily. The bathroom was ok but a little small.
- Malcolm (9/5): Good location and very nice rooms - Large room very clean and comfortable.
- Holly (9/5): Superb - Location great, near airport, transit and short bus ride into the city. Lovely ensuite room with sitting area and small kitchenette. Lovely kitchenette, but could use a few utensils and dishes.
- Nora (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): Spent our days in city Center but this was a convenient, quiet place to get rest! - Location was very close to bus sto going to city center, used it everyday, and very close to airport.
Groceries and gas right down the road. The location was a bit tricky to find using Google Maps
- Rygl (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): I have a short stay and it meets my need. - It is close to airport and Mark & Spencer Food Hall. The room is very clean. There bathroom heater was not working, informed the management. Luckily, the weather is not very cold for me in September.
- Juanita (9/5): Superb - The location was close to the city with good public transport. The room and facilities were great. Not catering for a breakfast.
- Renee (8/5): Clean & good sized rooms with a convenient location on the bus line between the airport and city center. - Very clean, good size room and bathroom. Convenient location for late arrival from airport and easy access to town center the next day via one bus. I thought staying at a guesthouse I would have met the proprietor and gotten some local suggestions, but it was self-checkin and checkout, and I didn’t interact with any humans during my stay.
- Farooqi (8/5): Large, clean and convenient Guesthouse - Liked the fact the room was big and clean and comfortable with chairs, table and adequate facilities
Only 10mins bus to the airport and frequent buses into the town centre. Bus stop right outside the hotel Alittle far from the centre, 20mins bus ride
For the price we paid, breakfast should be included
