We had a first floor room with a balcony overlooking Nantucket Sound with Martha's Vineyard in plain sight. The room was spacious and comfortable. A freshly cooked breakfast was offered daily. Parking was available, either in front or in the rear of the building. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and hope to return again.

The breakfast was amazing and we loved that we could eat it where we wanted to (we had breakfast in bed one morning and out on the terrace on another). We loved the free baked goods each day! The bed sheets were also the softest i’d ever slept on. Would have liked a quieter air-con machine and a window in the bathroom as it got quite hot, but these were very minor things and didn’t impact our enjoyment at all!

Bathroom was not so clean…a little moldy in the shower and bathroom fans were quite dusty. Window shade wands were broken making it hard to open and close the shades to the beautiful view. Don’t chose Quissette Harbor as the front entrance light makes it hard to sleep at night.

Our room was immaculate and spacious. The location is stunning! We ate breakfast on the porch each morning and enjoyed the water! Walking distance to Ferry, We also enjoyed a few meals just steps away at Shipwreck. Debbie was great! Would definitely stay here again, Charming beach town!
• Carla (10/5): Awesome accommodation and amazing location - Beautiful accommodation with fantastic views across the ocean facing Martha's Vineyard. The room was so comfortable with beautiful decor and great facilities. The nearby beach and the Shipwteak Inn were fantastic.

It was clean, nicely located, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the view was beautiful. The provided breakfast was very good! The Inn overall was very charming, however, the room that we stayed in was underwhelming. The Quissett room is right next to the road and next to the entry door to the Inn, therefore not much privacy.

• Jody (7/5): I'm not a fan of this new hands off approach to a BnB. Very impersonal. - Breakfast was good, but not memorable. Different 2 main options each morning. The 4 tables outside were too sunny at breakfast time, so other than taking your food tray back to your room, the only other option was to sit at one of 3 tables in a very cramped room.

Quick walk to the ferry . Enjoyed coming back to fresh baked chocolate chip cookies . Breakfast was 10/10. Also loved access to a fridge and the beverages available to us. Would love to come back !

• Laura (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at Inn on the Sound! The owners went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and even surprised up with a room upgrade! Being on the ocean is glorious - having coffee from a balcony room overlooking the ocean is idyllic. Breakfast at the inn was delicious. The location is perfect- right on the water, so you have easy access to the beach as well as the shining sea bike trail. It’s also very close to town so getting to dinner was a very quick commute. Highly recommend staying at Inn on the Sound!!

The hotel was old, but beautifully remodeled still keeping all of its charm. Our room faced the ocean, with a balcony. Breakfast was eggs Benedict, fruit, pastries, & cereals. So good.

The room and bathroom were very clean and nicely appointed. Unfortunately the day we arrived was cold and rainy but they had the fire place going which made it cozy and romantic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! We hope to go back soon!
