- Barbara (4/5): - Location Thread bare bath towels
- Brian (9/5): - Great staff The staff was wonderful

- April (2/5): Gross - The hot tub was broke, our coffee pot was broke, the keys didn’t work in the door and the whole place was dirty.
- Teresa (8/5): - The sauna was a surprise. It was a very comfortable room. The breakfast was an average motel breakfast. The pool area was clean. Paint peeling on the walls. Side door did not always unlock with key card. No table or coffee table in the room to set your stuff on and to play a game on.
- Duane (9/5): -
- Brandie (10/5): - Loved the staff and rooms were clean
- Cindy (8/5): It served the purpose. - Lots of cords from equipment and fans in the hallway, making use of a walker somewhat difficult.
- Quinn (6/5): Acceptable for a short stay but we will make other arrangements for anything more than one night. - Good location Old, outdated, not very clean
- Joshua (1/5): - Location The hot tub in the living room was broken but yet I got charged full price. They told me they just deal with it and there’s nothing they could do.
- Tom (8/5): -

Having room done in house keeper maintence men doing housekeeping really dontvyouvthinkntgeyvhacecenough to do like work on hot tub tubs Over the years this place is having hot tubs slot not mybfurstvtimecstaying recover 20 plus years Have your hot tubs working ! Get house keeping in order!
- Ruben (7/5): -
- Kate (6/5): Short quick stay. - Bedding and towels seem to be clean, which was great. Unfortunately, the bathroom had hair in the sink as well as in the bathtub. The hot tub wasn’t working upon arrival and was something that we were looking forward to when booking.
- Tanner (5/5): -
- Ashley (6/5): - Helpful and friendly staff! The floors in the room were dirty and wet. Water did not get very hot
- Rachel (8/5): -
- Starla (10/5): - Breakfast was so so. Perfect location for people pulling trailers. Amazingly friendly staff. Quiet, comfortable.
- Lois (8/5): We had a very comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. - Quiet, comfortable convenient location Breakfasts were meager. Not very good
- james (8/5): -
- Lori (10/5): -
- Dan (8/5): - Nice clean updated hotel Nothing comes to mind that I didn't like. I would stay there again
- Jillian (10/5): -
- Linda (10/5): Wonderful, all the workers were very nice. - Alexis was not only nice and friendly but helpful also. She was able to get the cable working so my husband could watch NDSU Bison play football! She did this in only a few minutes.
- Jeff (7/5): -
- Kat Merry (9/5): - Spacious room, good beds, amenities. Fridge in room, microwave in breakfast area down the hall. Ample breakfast, hot and cold options. Pool. Very nice place.
- Elizabeth (7/5): A decent place with good people - Breakfast was good. Pool decent. Hot tub was down. Bed was really hard
- AJ (9/5): Clean, Modern, and Offers Delicious Continental Breakfast - The staff was incredibly kind, especially a front desk employee who gave us a free room upgrade due to the hot tub being temporarily out of order. Thank you for being so friendly, understanding, and accomodating! The daily breakfast was also amazing, fresh, and fulfilling.
- Stormy (7/5): -
- Lisa (6/5): Ehhh… ok - Basic hotel and I wasn’t expecting a lot. Still a bit of a disappointment. My tv, microwave, and fridge didn’t work, and the place was full on a Wednesday night so they couldn’t switch me to another room. Everything is a bit older and sad and you might want to shower with flip flops. Hot tub was like a warm bath with sad jets. Sauna was a nice surprise but took awhile to warm up.
- Kaylee (10/5): It was fun and relaxing - I like that is was close to park rapids but not in the middle of town Only thing I did not like was when we got there the bathtub had some hair in it but other then that it was good
- Joseph (10/5): - Great value
- Trent (2/5): - We rented 2 rooms, upon arrival my husband said, you paid how much for rooms in this hotel! It does not look like a $200+ per night hotel. we were told both rooms were ready. First of all one rooms bathroom had NOT been cleaned. The toilet was backed up with large qty of feces in it. After listening to the front desk person cuss out the people that were suppose to have cleaned the room, she sent 2 young gals to clean it again. They arrived without rubber gloves and we requested they go find some, once they had done what they called cleaned the toilet we pointed out that it was not clean yet. When the 2 gals left my friend said thank you and both girls continued on their way, which my friend then said the polite thing to do would be to say you’re welcome, which one of the gals responded to and the other replied. You disrespected me so no! We were in town for a wedding and were told that we couldn’t check in until 3:00 which left us a very limited time to get ready, but we checked in at 3:00, with all of this going on we had even less time to get ready. Again we were told this room has been cleaned and inspected. Neither room had been vacuumed and neither televisions worked. We requested a refund but because we had booked through Expedia they could not refund our money. If we hadn’t spent $220+ on each room I would have left! I do not plan to stay in an AmericInn again. And will not book a hotel room 3rd party again. Not a happy customer.
- Jennette (4/5): - The furniture in my room was in very poor shape. I would not have anything looking like that in my home. The wood was chipped, worn and the upholstery was quite dated. In the hallway a strip of molding (about 6 feet) had come away from the wall and was just lying on the carpeting. I paid $170 for my stay. I was insulted to have to pay this much for a rundown place,
- Anne (2/5): Reservations - Requested wheelchair accessible room. Requested 6 months ago. Was not able to take a shower after hunting for 3 days. Did not have wheel accessible room. Am nervous to book through your app for future accessible rooms. .
- Peter (8/5): -
- Jory (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and clean facility
- Angela (4/5): - The room had a musty smell, jacuzzi (being the only reason I reserved this room) didn’t work and the employee did nothing about it. Broken tiles in the bathroom and around the jacuzzi. Sticky glass rings on the tables, a questionable curly hair on one of these sticky tables. The breakfast was almost empty each time we checked, just a couple biscuits. We did not have a great experience and we’ll never be booking at another Americinn again.
- Naomi (6/5): - The hotel lobby was messy and the hot tub had only 2 jets that worked. The sheets were paper thin and worn through and it smelled musty in the room. Bed was hard and lumpy.
Breakfast was good, but they ran out plates. The morning staff were friendly and helpful. The night person was very cold and not friendly.
- Randel (8/5): - Staff was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Refrigerator in room made a loud humming noise. Told manager and she had it replaced that day. Hotel in general was clean and neat. Our room was somewhat dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and quickly replenished when need be. Hotel located in a nice area that was quiet and plenty of stores and
restaurants in the area.
- LaNaya (8/5): - Staff were incredibly nice.
- Bruno (7/5): -
- Jason (6/5): - Coffee in breakfast area was lukewarm, housekeeping was not in at all the 3 nights I was there.
- Karen (9/5): Perfect - Wonderful! I had trouble getting connected to the wifi.
- Jason (6/5): - Room was clean but no daily housekeeping. Ran out of wash clothes and shampoo and had to get my own garbage bags. Coffee in breakfast area was lukewarm in the morning and 2 mornings I made the HOTELS coffee.
- trent (6/5): - The grandkids to
- Alyssa (4/5): - This place was a bit sketchy.. felt unsafe and very rundown. The bed was not comfortable, many things were broken in the room and one point they called me and told me I would need to pay again.. The only plus was Andy at reception, he was very nice.
- Jason (10/5): - Breakfast was great and room is clean
- Angie (4/5): - Rooms smell like smoke. Had to request to swap rooms twice, requested non smoking rooms and they stated the hotel was non smoking. Multiple things broken in room, VERY outdated and dirty. Hot tub was broken. No pop up crib available, stated someone took it over a month ago. Would not return to stay here again. One positive was the front desk worker was helpful.
- paul (10/5): - I like the designated motorcycle parking.
- Bernice (8/5): - Our overall stay was good. The bedspread was a little grimy. Looked like someone spilled on it, but wasn't changed.
- Vince (4/5): - Reservation system was terrible. When we arrived they had the reservation but indicated incorrectly that we needed to pay for the room. We paid for the rooms when we made the reservation and the card was charged. It took 20-30 minutes to check in.
Property person was very nice but my complaint is directed at the reservation system. Property is aging but friendly staff and clean
- Gordon (6/5): - Pool had to be closed because someone brought a glass into the pool area and broke it. TV didn't really work either.
- Ahlstrand (5/5): Poor value - Breakfast was ok. There were enough selections. The carpet was damp. The room had musty odor. For the price I paid I thought the room would have been updated.
- Steven (6/5): - Was pretty good overall. We booked this hotel for the last night of our 3000 mile motorcycle trip and after the longest day. Spent a little extra that our normal “dive” hotel to have a hot tub. But the hot tub didn’t work and the worker had no idea. Super disappointing. Staff was super nice, hotel was great, as we would expect for an AmericInn. But the hot tub situation really was disappointing.
- Timothy (3/5): Overpriced , and needs a make over you Can get a really nice Air BN B for the same money that is in better shape. - Location was good No hot water the first morning and house keeping unless you stay at least 3 days. Most of the staff was very good , the manager was a bit rude the first time we addressed the hot water issue, she was a bit more polite when we checked out.
- Carol (4/5): - I reserved two rooms and when I got there we could not get our rooms as we were apparently 45 minutes too early. After a four hour car ride this was disappointing. We left and headed to our event without being able to freshen up. Upon our return we were put into our two rooms on different levels because all the rooms were taken by this time. This was very disappointing as we had children with us, who needed to travel between the two rooms. I don't understand why when you rent two rooms they would be as far apart as they could possibly get, and then be told it's because we checked in late. UGH!!!
- Bennett (6/5): - The staff were friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi tub in the room was very nice. The pillows were either flat or hard as rocks. The hot tub only has 2 jets and wasn't very clean. We checked in on Thursday. The pool/hot tub area should have been cleaner than it was just before the weekend. There was no hand soap in the room. I have stayed there many times in the past 30 years . I will again.
- Nathaniel (6/5): Nice hotel, just needs updates - Very nice hotel except for the fact that it definitely needs some TLC to update building.
- Christy (1/5): Gross - Nice pool, staff were great, location is good. Lumpy pillows, moldy/musty smell in room, hot tub not working, the staff at front counter had a shirt on that said "Brains, I wish more people had them. " Overall, very disappointed for an AmericInn.
- Kathleen (8/5): - It was lucky to find accommodations for our dog. There's even a dedicated side lot and plenty of off-road spaces to walk the dog on a leash. Breakfast was fair and better than similar priced hotel/inns. The town of Park Rapids was awesome, with a downtown area full of shops and restaurants. Had an issue at check-in over the price that was quoted by Experian but otherwise a good travel experience.
- Scott (8/5): - Very nice staff!
- Sandra (6/5): - The Americinn was quiet and I ultimately got a good night sleep for the week I stayed there. The carpet in my room was filthy and either needs shampooed or replaced. The hot water heater needs repaired or replaced. I did have at least one cold shower while I was there. The staff did a good job but because of cold shower and filthy floor I will not stay here again.
- Denise (4/5): - Needs upgrades badly. Room was filthy and smelled musty. All times the filthy carpet felt damp.
I would find another hotel.
- Pamela (8/5): - Jacuzzi was terrible, sauna didn’t work and desk clerks had litt personality
- Laura (8/5): - The rustic wood tables were amazing. The fact that the hot tub has only 2 jets working was disappointing.
- Buechner (5/5): Was ok pool was really clean but need to keep up on replenishing towels etc - Room could of been cleaner.
Carpeting in room felt wet room smelled like smoke.
Phone in room did not work even to call front desk for more towels, to etc.
- mary (10/5): - staff did an excellent job.
- Nicole (10/5): - This is the second time I have stayed at this location. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. My kids love the waffle station in the morning. Theres a cute little coffe shop across the parking lot that is drive or walk thru too! Lots to do and see In Park Rapids and surrounding towns (highly suggest Nevis right up the road). Walmart and Aldi super close too which is very convenient. Would definitely recommend to others and will likely stay there again.
- Rick (2/5): - The hot tub was out of service. The pool was filthy! Food in the boot om of the pool and floating around the edge of the pool. The tile around the perimeter of the pool doesn't look like it's even been cleaned. Nasty.
- Crystal (8/5): - Its was great
- Mary (6/5): - Breakfast left much to be desired. All the milk available was out of date. Hot items were depleted. The were out of coffee since the day before. We went for breakfast at 7 am.
- Marion (10/5): Great staff - Check in clerk went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! We are very grateful for her assistance!
- Crystal (8/5): - They were accommodating when we arrived, we had someone in a wheelchair and they changed one of the rooms to a lower level which was helpful. Their continental breakfast was not that great. Overall I would stay there again.
- Cheryl (4/5): - Poorly maintained. Carpet filthy. Rooms didn’t have shampoo or toilet paper, tv guide didn’t work, staff didn’t answer the phone. Not a well maintained Americinn.
Staff friendly and helpful when speaking to them.
- Robert (8/5): - Property is in need of complete refresh
- Matthew (4/5): - I booked this room online specifically because it said it had a hot tub. But then once I got there, the hot tub was broken.... Also, the breakfast selection
Was not very good
- Anna (8/5): - The breakfast was great the first day but lacking the second. The secondary access door was very difficult to open. And the hot tub was under construction, which happens of course but was a personal bummer! That being said, the room was clean, the TV options were great and the pool area was very nice.
- Kent (6/5): - We did not appreciate guests eating breakfast when they were barefoot and in their pajamas. Discusting and not wanting to eat when we observed that.
- Angela (4/5): - Hot tub was broken
- Brian (7/5): It felt like a hunter's cabin. - The breakfast and the friendliness if the staff. No elevator, the pool was dirty, the light switches in the room were confusing, and the hot tub was out of order.
- Tonda (10/5): - Staff was friendly and accommodating. The lobby offered snacks and breakfast. Great value
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and odour free. Bed was fairly comfortable. Overall it was a good place to overnight.
- Holland (6/5): - The staff was amazing, and helpful. The hotel is close to downtown and stores. The hot tub is never available when we have stayed and this trip the sauna was unavailable also. The pool may have had too much chemical in it as my kids broke out in hives that night. There were people always by doorways drinking, smoking, talking very loud.
- Lisa (4/5): - The hot tub and sauna weren’t working when we arrived. I had requested a pet friendly room, but none were available so we ended up in a different room with a mangers approval.
This property is in serious need of a deep clean and upgrade. Floors are so dirty they’re almost black in places, stains from drinks on the tile that have never been cleaned. You can tell it’s been quite some time since it been vacuumed.
Cracks in the bathtub, floor is squishy underneath. Shower head has so much build up from not being cleaned. Bathroom fan wasn’t working.
Long term guests sit in the cars in the parking lot. Other cars sit plugged in, and in severe disrepair.
Very disappointed with this hotel, we will never be back.
- David (10/5): Quiet and comfy - Great spot to stay for work. Quiet and comfy
- Jay (10/5): - Pet friendly.
- Allen (10/5): - Great value, quiet, great breakfast
- Dawn (6/5): - Just an ok hotel
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing -
- Novacek (10/5): Good experience - Friendly staff. Clean room. Nice pool. Excellent breakfast.
- shelley (4/5): - My room was nice and clean but the hallways are not clean. There was garbage on the ground outside the back door. There were people sitting in their cars in the parking lot for hours. It appeared there were people living there long term. I could smell greasy food and smoke/vapes from 1 room i had to walk by. They were also hanging out in the lobby and kitchenette. I would not let my 15yo daughter walk around or go to the pool alone
- patty (10/5): - awesome
- patty (10/5): - awesome place to stay
- Danita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melinda (10/5): Exceptional - Location is quiet and easy to park.
