The breakfast was subpar if any breakfast at all actually things still left in the garbage can a paper stuck in the peep hole however I did seem like the older gentleman employee was partaking in breakfast each morning. Had the waffle machine on but no waffle batter one apple for fruit.

• Leon (1/5): The property is not worthy to fly the Wyndham flag. If we could get a refund we would. - Location Property is in poor condition, dirty, lacking of staff. What breakfast, there was hardly anything for breakfast and it was dirty. No ice, machine was broken. Front desk was never there. Pillows and beds very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were dirty. Would not recommend this property.
• Robert (1/5): This is the worst place my husband & I have ever stayed in. There were a dozen people trying to find something to e - Absolutely nothing. Worst bed we’ve ever slept in. Rock hard mattress with lumps, stained sheets, lumpy pillows, dirty smelly carpet. The only food for the breakfast for the entire morning was a total of two eggs & 4 greasy saucy patties, 4 stale, hard lemon poppyseed muffins, the juice was cloudy water, no waffle mix, no yogurt, no bananas, no juice. Nothing else. It was horrible. No staff anywhere. We were up at 7:00AM & never saw a staff person before we left at 10:00. This hotel should be closed. It is disgraceful & disgusting.
• Eric (3/5): This used to be a really nice motel but it has went downhill terribly. - Quiet and the rates were reasonable The toilet was dirty. There was no extra bedding for the sofa bed. There was absolutely nothing at the continental breakfast in the morning. And there was never any staff at the front desk.
• Robin (2/5): Do not stay here. - Free wifi, hot water, the fridge worked. We arrived at 5:30 and they didnt have a room ready (check in was at 3:00). Once we got in the room, they had blown a breaker and there wasn't power for an hour or so. It appears they are doing updates, but this room did not seem ready. The shower head was coming off the wall, a huge Crack in the bathroom tile, the window was open when we got in with the screen out, we put it back in. The smoke detector was wrapped in a towel and hanging off the wall. There was a cloth in the sprinkler. The sheets were so thin they were see through. I booked a 2 queen bed room on booking.com then the confirmation changed to a 1 bed queen, with pull out couch. The pull out was awful. The staff was in a hurry to clean our room, so we had no cups, no soap, and ran out of TP. When I went to the front desk, no one was ever there. There was a number to call, but they never answered. I would never stay here again.

The tv would not work and I had no telephone in my room so had to walk down and talk to managment every time I needed something and after asking for a Phone in my room none was ever delivered. I stayed here three days and the people that ran it had their apartment one floor below me and smoked MJ day and night and so the motel smelled like that constantly. I am no prude but I think someone complained as they opened up the hallway window during a blizzard and tried to air it out. Plus so much more. No ice as machine was broke. No water in the indoor pool etc etc
• Klein (1/5): Worst experience ever! - Nothing! The rooms were not clean. My room was supposed to have a couch with hide-a-bed, it had a cheap hard lay down futon couch that was never vacuumed or cleaned had stains all over. The hotel constantly smelled of marijuana the entire stay, the worker just propped doors open to allow the cold winter air in. There was a pool on property that was not maintained, the staff told us we could use it but it was probably cold. It was like jumping into an ice bath, my grandkids were so disappointed and so was I as this is one of the factors we rented this hotel so they could swim. My daughter and grandkids had a separate room and their door did not lock at all. Would not recommend and would never stay there again!

Dirty towels in room, hair galore around the bathroom, pool you may as well forget adding that amenity to the listing they don't even turn the heat on and had a hole in the flooring of the pool.... best part of it all coming from a family with kids doors of the place are left open so the staff can smoke weed but still causing second hand highs for and kid that comes in the place as it's so strong ..... and you never see any of the staff either so breakfast you have to hunt people down to get things refilled when it was out of it and the breakfast in their pictures isnt even what you get either very few options (waffles, toast, vanilla muffins, cereal, eggs and sausage , maybe a pack of oatmeal if they restock it and good luck finding a person to get anything more)... I recommend paying a bit more for the other hotel in the area....

• IslandGirlPS (4/5): Expensive rate for low budget hotel - Room was dirty, had debris, hair and insects . Smelled badly. No one at front desk on multiple occassions. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to check us in. Room key deacivated on 2nd day, again took some time to find someone to assist us. Plug for blow dryer broken, needed to be plugeed in at a certain angle to work and then had electricity sparks. I woke up to multiple bug bites. Others in my party non Wynham members received upgrades, I did not despite being a priorty customer.

There was no hot water, no ice and we only stayed on the 27th. The Windom has refunded to you the unused 2 nights. When will we get our refund? We paid for another motel. You are impossible to get help from. I have worked on this for several days. They reverted me back to Windom. Finally reached someone today and she said that the refund was processed.

• Darrick (4/5): - When we checked in a 9:30pm, there were 4 guest registration cards and guest keys laying on the front desk. All those guests personal information was out for anyone to see and keys to their rooms just there for the taking. So many bad and very dangerous things could happen in that situation. We did happen to run into one staff member who was moving a gust from one room to another because their pull out sofa was inoperable. That employee said there is generally no one at the front desk after 9pm. That was not mentioned when our reservations were made. In addition to what I would call this security breach, when we got to our room, it felt so damp and humid. In fact, there was a large fan sitting on the table in the room blowing. Like they knew something was wrong, but didn’t finish fixing it, or if this was their fix, it wasn’t a good one. Of course there was no one at the front desk to discuss this with. Our bathroom had no shampoo in the shower in the bulk dispenser, but it did have a big metal grate over the back wall over the shower that was extremely rusty. When we got up in the morning, after an obviously not great night of sleep, there was no coffee in the airports at breakfast and trying to find the un-uniformed employee to fill the coffee was a problem. There were several guests just kind of wandering around with empty coffee cups trying to find someone who would make new coffee and fill the coffee dispenser. We finally gave up and left to get our own coffee.

• Terry (7/5): The hotel staff and housekeeping was absent. - The bed was comfortable. There was no staff available when we checked in, or during our stay. The temp of the entire building was hot! It took 2 hours to cool our room to 73. The ice machine didn’t work, the vending machines were not full, there was no communication that we would not get fresh towels or housekeeping during the stay.

The “clientele “….men sitting in their vehicles every evening drinking, two broken vending machines in the lobby, very limited breakfast items, the employee sitting in the lobby, obviously on a personal phone call, yelled and asked what I needed when I arrived to check in, he never ended his call, never spoke a word to me checking me in, swiped my card, handed me a room key and walked away. The best part was every night the hallway reeked of weed. That was my official last stay. Never again, too bad it used to be well run.

No single milk cartons, only a jug of milk for communal use. The warmer for the eggs and sausage wasn’t turned on. We turned it on. The entrance and hallways smelled very heavily of marijuana. The property felt very neglected.

The bed was comfortable and I slept okay, the room and carpet were musty, overall the place could use a makeover. I feel like I overpaid for what I got by staying there.

• Ruth (2/5): - I originally was very thankful the staff accommodated my request to be in the first floor due to an injury but that was where my positive experience ended. The motel hallways smelled horrible and the couches in the room needed a good clean. I had booked my room months in advance knowing it was a big weekend for tournaments. I had paid for 2 nights checked in for both nights but there was a glitch in their system and I was checked out after 1 night. They claimed that my room had already been snatched up and they had no room to accommodate me for the second night. Instead of calling the person who booked last minute I was asked to leave. I have yet to see the money refunded to my card. Never again will I stay here.
• Jill (4/5): - Our toilet seat wasnt the same size as the toilet. Fridge unplugged and cable box unplugged.our room keys were just laying on top of the service desk so anyone could have messed with my room.
• Eric (6/5): - The stay at the property was okay. The breakfast could have been better. I booked the stay through Expedia…imagine my surprise when Wyndham accidentally charged me for the room…and the charge was significantly less than what Expedia charged me. I was under the assumption that Expedia was giving the best price available. If that’s not the case, why use Expedia?

• CHAD (6/5): - All outlets are wore out that stuff that’s plugged in don’t stay in socket. Three towels for four people staying in room. Ice machine was broken. Clean and got the job done but overpriced for the experience.
• Gina (6/5): - The staff were wonderful and accommodating, but the property is tired and needs a refresh.
• Michael (2/5): Bad choice - At time of arrival I couldn't find any employees that were working. Yet all of the current check-ins for the night were layed on the front desk, with all individual information on display with room keys. My wife didn't feel safe staying there. The hotel states that its "Smoke Free" yet the place stunk like marajuana. The room smelled and bath tub was dripping and had standing water in the tub. We didn't even stay, we left and booked a room somewhere else. I couldnt find an employee to address our concerns. The pictures online did not match what we saw in person. We will be requesting a full refund.
• Dawn (4/5): - We used to stay here a lot in the past but has tried different places lately. We decided to try it again as it was a place we had enjoyed previously. We will not be staying here again. The room was not clean. The tub had hair from a previous stay. There were pizza boxes outside the window. The pool was especially bad. The water was not clean and you could tell it had not been cleaned in a long time. The bottom of the pool had sand or something. There were leaves and debris in the water as well. The complimentary breakfast has become just a very small selection of items and also didn’t seem clean in the area. There were people in the parking lot attempting to unlock a car with a coat hanger. Star was rarely at the desk and there was a handwritten sign letting you know how to page them. It’s really a shame as I am a Wyndham rewards member and stayed here frequently in the past.
• marc (4/5): - Service was poor, the keys and paperwork were just sitting at the front desk for anyone to grab. Ice machine was broken, coffee at breakfast was water. Not impressed…
• Eric (1/5): Won’t stay there again - Not much Room confusion they had to remove the last person’s belongings and clean room for us while we waited. No hair dryer. Room keys were deactivated. Room didn’t smell clean.

• Steven (6/5): Everything broken - We were greeted with the extreme smell of pot upon walking in. Soon a receptionist that was extremely high checked us in. He told us the pool was being fixed so we couldn’t swim. We also found the candy machine and the ice machine to not be functioning. The room was fine and comfortable.
• Marilyn (2/5): - There wasn’t much to like. Everything is run down and broken. If you went into the bathroom and shut the door you couldn’t get out, the handle was broken and had to be opened from the outside. Thank goodness my husband was there to let me out. In the shower I turned the handle to hot and only got cold water, you had to turn it all the way into cold to get hot water. The vending machines were all out of order, the ice machine didn’t work, the breakfast was pathetic. Swimming pool was out of service. Most of the staff needed to shower and put on clean clothes,they were not professional at all.
• Ruth (6/5): - Average 2 star hotel. Loved having a suite with a separate bedroom area and it was on the end of the building, which was very quiet even when a whole baseball team was staying there. Good quality for the price.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Was not satisfied and will not stay again - My experience is not so good. The room was not cleaned as the bed looked like someone had taken a nap on just one side of the bed- garbage still in garbage can- shampoo looked like it had exploded all down the bottle- no soap to waah your hands. Then found a spot of blood on sheets and reported it and was offered an upgrade to a suite however when asked for a refund was not given it as needed to find the spot of blood earlier in my stay. Front desk clerk was very kind and understood my frustrations.
• Annette (6/5): - An average experience. Room appeared to be clean. Sheets on the bed were pilled and worn out. Staff was not particularly friendly. They didn't even take my ID or credit card when I checked in, they just asked my name and handed me a key. We were not told about breakfast or any of the amenities. It was a very quiet property. Breakfast was meh with very little options. There was cream cheese in the fridge but no bagels. No yogurt or other pastries were offered. It was fine for a quick night's sleep but I wouldn't want to stay here for a number of days. Not a lot of options to choose from in this small town but I think I'll try the other hotel in town next time I'm here.
• David (4/5): Not worth the $ spent to stay - Staff were Friendly & the Beds were comfortable Pool was Not open as advertised & the Bathroom Toilet would not flush. Gross! No Yogurt or Bananas & the Orange Juice was bad Not much of a Breakfast set-up The Shower Curtain was torn.
• Tamara (3/5): I wouldn’t stay there again. - The hotel is not being kept up. The pool was out of order. The toilet in the pool bathroom didn’t flush. The vending machine was out of order. The stairs to the second floor had not been vacuumed in awhile. The shower curtain in the bathroom was falling apart and needed replacement.
• Nicky (4/5): Stay Only If You Have To - I wanted to dismiss previous reviews, but unfortunately they were correct. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean but that was it. Everything else was SUBPAR at best. As noted by previous reviews, the rooms were dated, the smoke detector was hanging from the wall, who ever painted the room obviously was in a hurry paint spatter everywhere, the towels were child size and no body wash. There is NO elevator. The breakfast was meager. It could sustain you but it wasnt nice. Some apples were rotten and they didnt put out any other creamer accept flavored (vanilla) no half and half or dried creamer. We reserved a 4 night stay and it was the same every morning. Bread, sausage, faux eggs and apples. However, the thing that upset me most was the pool which they advertise. They never told us the pool wasnt working when we made our reservation. We check in and on the door was a big sign "POOL CLOSED" when I asked the clerk about this he stated, "The water is very cold, you can use it but I wouldn't." Is it closed or not? We had 2 teeneage boys for a 4 night stay. They needed something to do at least one of those days. So the boys tried the pool on the third night, the pool was not heated and the lights wouldnt come on in the pool room. Definitely closed and not safe. After the ice machine broke, we had enough and told them we were checking out the next day. We explained our position and they had the nerve to tell us the pool was available just cold. Dishonest.

• Jake (5/5): Wouldn’t choose to come back. - Good location, check in clerk was nice Rooms not cleaned well, pool not good, room smelled like weed. Breakfast was not great, coffee was not good at all.
• 713iker (8/5): What a difference a year makes - I have consistently stayed at this property and honestly it was just okay. In over a year this place has done some upgrades and the staff, especially Nathan is good! Nathan pays attention to detail and understands hospitality. I am a platinum member and usually there are some bennys that no one has shown me. Nathan did!!! Its a good property that is well priced and clean and they continue to make updates.
• BRYAN (4/5): Location good, stay not so much. - Sheets were dirty. No cups in the room for water or coffee. No shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. Holes in the wall around the tub. Mini fridge on the floor with the microwave on top…not enough plugins to have the lights and fridge plugged in.
• Steve (3/5): Not what we expected - Location Run down , morning staff not as good as the check in staff. Did not get the room we booked. Got queen room when we booked a king deluxe suite. Where do we get refund?

• Tracy (10/5): - Room was a bit dirty. Could use a fresh paint job, lots of spackle that could be covered up. Had jacuzzi tub, bottom was dirty and walls around it were a bit icky. The room did the job, staff was friendly, just could freshen up the place and cleaning detail could be better.

• Jeff (3/5): Worst americinn I've stayed at. - Breakfast was mediocre at best. Minumal choices for food. Plates to small. Dining room dirty. TV in dining room not close enough to use........I especially didn't like the fact that I got a phone call from the staff at midnight, for a reason that didn't fully make sense when I asked about it.
