- MACLEAR (5/5): Very poor. - Too much sound of the lift , it is quite disturbing to hearing the constant thud of the iron blocks everytime. Disturbs the sleep. Also after putting the room on DND mode. The staff kept on ringing and knocking the door..no sense of privacy or manners. ONLY 2 very small literally small bottles for 2 people and if asked for more they said its on chargeable basis.

- Shanata (1/5): Thin walls makes it hard to sleep restfully - Choose this place if you like being relatively close to Senopati and SCBD, and would like some sort of space in the room enough to bring a few family or friends to catch-up at. The walls are really thin - you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway (e.g. doors opening/closing, plastic bag rustling) and the road in front of the hotel (where there’s cafes blaring music until 3am). The sheets were ridden with various stains, and the AC isn’t cold at all.

The room was loud- you could hear the lift and all the doors opening and closing all night. Also, the hotel didn’t tell us on booking there would be DJ until 3am on Friday night. So the whole hotel could hear this noise. Not ideal for work travel. The breakfast was also very poor. Very limited options. Also the lobby/breakfast was a smoking area, which made breakfast very uncomfortable breathing in smoke.

- Piya (9/5): Great stay for a fun time in Jakarta - Room was small, but good. Modern design & lovely lighting. Beds comfortable. The design of the lobby with the cafe was very chic & stylish. Staff was efficient. Most importantly, the location was very central. If you are looking to experience night life in Jakarta, this is an excellent place. There's a rooftop pub that has music (but it was booked for a private event the day I went). But bang opposite is a pub called Flores where youngsters come for music & dance. I loved seeing how locals (especially women wearing head scarves) danced freely to beats of international music. I did some hopping to couple of other places down the road & one right next to the hotel too. And found the DJs great & the crowd respectful. So basically if you are open to having a fun night out with locals, this is a great place to stay. There are also some local stalls selling local food at day & night. My personal favourite is a lady selling a variety of food in the day time. My last lunch sitting on plastic chair outside her street stall was one of the best. Also next to the hotel, I discovered a local hot pot restaurant (closes early) next to a Sushi restaurant (that's open till very late night). Hotel is also around half an hour car drive (more time during peak hours) from the heritage areas of Jakarta. The bathroom & toilet areas are two separate cubicles. But both have frosted glass doors that don't exactly close properly. So privacy can be an issue. I had a room facing the street & the music from the pubs on Saturday night was quite high & there was sound from motorbikes. Not a problem for me bcos I was there for the vibe. But if you are looking for quiet & peace, maybe go on weekdays & check with hotel if there are any parties happening that day.

Had a chicken burger that was really bad chicken but the breakfast was good.

What made it truly special was the exceptional hospitality of the staff—they were - I love the design, exterior, and overall vibe of this hotel. At night, the area outside comes alive with street food vendors, offering a great opportunity to try local delicacies without the usual crowds, making for an enjoyable experience. The hotel is conveniently located near various restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and an ATM, with a mall also nearby. The food here is excellent—I initially wasn’t sure if I would enjoy Indonesian cuisine, but the hotel served a delicious Indonesian breakfast that changed my mind. We also had lunch here, and overall, the food was fantastic. There is a bar on the top floor, and the noise can be quite loud, even on the second floor. Additionally, when events are held in the lobby, the loud music can also be heard from the rooms. While the hotel provides earplugs, they are not of the best quality, so it's advisable to bring your own for better noise reduction. In our case, we were already aware of this issue, so we came prepared with our own earplugs.

But you can hear the road and the music that plays from wensdays to Saturdays are just so loud and horrible if you just want to sleep after a long day. So be prepared for thin walls. And there was some water dripping from the ceiling down to the carpet. The breakfast was good.

The personnel was very friendly! It is not very sound-proof and I could hear the (bathroom) doors from other rooms on my floor, so ear buds are advised.

The gym is a little outdated. I noticed equipement was defect. When I informed reception they immediately fixed it. A mosquito was terrorizing me in my room. Reception was so kind to change rooms since bug spray didn’t help.

- Weiyue (7/5): Good - I really liked the interior design of the hotel, very aesthetically pleasing and full of personality. The beds were really comfortable too! I also like that the shower and toilet are separate cubicles as well. They also provided toothbrush and toothpaste which is a bonus! There's a damp mouldy smell when you first walk in. Might be that the ventilation for the toilet is not strong enough. The twin bed rooms are pretty small and probably difficult to lay out the luggage completely. Would be great if there's a wardrobe to hang the clothes instead of one wall rack, but then again the room is too small to put that. Also, the shower and toilet cubicles are separated with glass, which can be translucent (can see the shadows) given that they are quite small. It can be weird/ awkward if you're sharing the room with a colleague/ acquaintance. We also stayed in the a room right across for a bar which blasts loud music every single day till 2am. Definitely not the place for light sleepers.

- Phillip (5/5): Massive improvement needed - The position was good the bed was comfortable ! Housekeeping were also good and they are unsupervised but get on with it !! Breakfast was a joke ! No direction from the staff stood around doing nothing. Every morning I had to ask for a knife then glasses for juice and water ? It was embarrassing. On check in couldn’t wait to tell us about the noise I had already been informed. No direction again no information where and when breakfast was no information how to gain Wi-Fi? It was just pathetic. The management need to take a serious look at their business. My business would not survive with such non business sense.

The high ceilings were interesting as were the murals throughout the hotel. There are several clubs on the other side of the street and the music was playing till late in the evening. The shower design was a bit strange because while the shower room was quite spacious, the rain shower head was too close to the wall. The breakfast was a bit sparse, there was no information that one can order eggs from the kitchen. Also there were a couple of flies.

- David (7/5): Good boutique hotel that has room for improvement. - - Nice atmosphere of boutique hotel; - Nice location in Jakarta with bars and restaurant at walking distance; - Breakfast choice is quite limited (a single hot dish + basic filter coffee + what tasted like concentrated orange juice) for the price; broader choice was expected, as it is standard for hotels with similar prices. For instance: espresso/Latte or similar hot drinks should be included; good quality juice too instead of what tasted like concentrated orange/pineapple juice, etc.. - Hotel is quite noisy especially friday's evening due to the rooftop bar, but also the nightclub located straight across the street

- Hp (8/5): Nice boutique hotel on a budget - Very nice boutique hotel design. Facilities work well and there is also a rooftop gym which they did not advertised but is great. Location is great, lots of cafes around. Do take note there are steps to the entrance of hotel. Appreciate the nice kaftan robes provided in the rooms. As noted by other visitors, the rooftop bar spins until late on weekends and the noise does travel even though we were staying on 1st floor. Not a big deal for me as I can sleep through the bass thumping but could be an issue for some. ear plugs are provided. Also a weird thing that we were asked to pay extra for extra bottles of water but it did not apply to my friends staying in another room. Requested for hair dryer but it was really weak so don't bother.

- Stefan (10/5): Perfect for Weekend! - The room is nice, simple but pretty. So close to restaurants, cafe, foodcourt. Breakfast tasted good. Staffs were nice too. Complete Toiletries! And the rooftop and ground floor entertainment. Should change to smart TV! Junction near the location often got heavy traffic. Stayed in room 114 Shower only got warm not as hot.

- Benediktus (7/5): Nice hotel to stay in Jakarta - Love that the hotel is right in the center of Kemang and many restaurants, cafes, and bars. The room was pretty comfortable and good size. One of the night they had an event which lasted until 3 in the morning, and you could hear the noise inside the room. The bathroom smelt damp and some mold on the tiles. The hot water was not hot!

- Michael (5/5): Not great. - Location is good for Kemang. Not good value for money. Room smelled like BO, downstairs bar area is trendy they don’t keep beers in the fridge so only warm beers available, rooftop pool in need of some fixing and the rooftop bar is closed 90% of the week so can’t have drinks/food by the pool. Staff generally unhelpful and slow. Rarely leave reviews but felt I needed to with this one.

- Andreas (8/5): Very good - Overall very good and I stay there frequently when traveling for business. Staff of friendly, goos value for money and well maintained hotel 👌🏼 Showers only provide cold water and only very rarely a very bit of warm water. Guess the central heater can not cope with the capacity of users.

- Jose (10/5): Great stay, lovely hotel - The hotel is very well maintained and room was excellent. having visited when it first opened it didn't change. arrived late evening and left early morning so didn't have the time to visit roof top or other venue (downstairs). next trip. the outlet (FB) has changed into a different concept which actually (i guess) suits the location (Kemang) best as a lounge - outlet probably catering afternoon - evening guests more than deli - bistro, which I believe it was in the past so effectively breakfast was not really an option to consider. On the positive side, Liberica Coffee has a great spot right opposite the hotel where coffee and others are great so not a bad option for those that fancy a good coffee in the morning to kick off the day.
