• trushl (2/5): Not recommend - I had a very disappointing experience during my 3 days stay. The main issue was the lack of Wi-Fi in the room, which was highly inconvenient. When I inquired about it, the night receptionist was quite rude and unable to provide a valid explanation. The room lighting was very dim, and the bathroom was unpleasant—there was a strong odor from the washbasin, the hanging fixtures were broken, and the rugs in the room were not clean. Breakfast was the same every day with no variety. There were no fruits, no water or juices offered, which was quite surprising and disappointing. Additionally, I strongly advise against booking the Green Tour or Red Tour through the hotel. The experience was poor, the tours did not cover the places that were promised, and the guide seemed rushed throughout.
• G9711NIdb (10/5): Amazing customer service - I stayed at this wonderful hotel earlier this year with three of my friends. We were treated very well and had a spectacular view. But the greatest service the Peri Cave Hotel provided was that they delivered my phone all the way to Australia! The communication process took a month, yet they remained patient and were incredible to me throughout the entire process. It was the greatest customer service I have ever experienced, and this may be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Thank you very much to the staff of the Peri Cave Hotel for helping me, and granting me an incredible holiday. Teşekkürler.

There is an assumption that hotel's owner doesn't want to fix hotel's lacks and trying to earn from current not satisfactory conditions as much as possible

Breakfast was good, hotel had staff to help with the luggage. Hotel considers children above 11 adults and charges accordingly, please clarify before booking if extra bed needed. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

• Igor (8/5): В Каппадокии везде хорошо - Заехали почти на 12 часов раньше времени. Нас заселили без проблем и даже не взяли доплаты. При заселении почувствовали неприятный запах гари, но были очень уставшими и не придали этому значения. После второй ночи проснулись буквально в дыму. Оказалось, что в отеле проблемы с отопительной системой. Нас без проблем по требованию переселили в номер выше классом. Слово 'Cave' в названии отеля заставило думать, что номер будет в скале. Оказалось, что не все номера таковые. Мы жили в обычном. Супруге ванна показалась грязной, но мне же просто не новой. Расположение отличное, все рядом. Хотя в Гёреме везде все рядом, поселок маленький. От отеля до смотровой на рассвете посмотреть на шары всего 10-15 минут пешком. Так же до музея под открытым небом "Гёреме. Территория отеля огорожена, на территории деревья, виноград, стоят столики. Можно поужинать, выпить винишка на свежем воздухе. Wi-Fi. Утром с территории отеля видно взмывающие вверх шары. Завтрак по системе "шведский стол". Не очень богатый, но вполне можно наесться до обеда. Кофе растворимый.

The cave rooms are very wet and full of insects everywhere, there is almost no ventilation at rooms. The breakfast is good .. the hotel can be very noisy at night so you can't get a good sleep. The location is amazing at the edge of the town so no need to walk long distances to get what you need.

I think side tables should be placed with beds for better luggage handling. The door of the room and washroom were very loud during opening and closing, and there was no key or lock for washroom. • Peter (10/5): Best location and service in Cappadocia - Amazing stay here with my sister's family. Murat, the manager, helped us with everything (ATV rides, hot-air balloon rides). He really made us feel at home. In Cappadocia, almost all affordable hotels are made out to look very simple and basic. I already knew that so I wasn't expecting much. Breakfast was great as a normal Turkish breakfast and also including hot foods like sausages, boiled eggs, and borek. The inner courtyard had great shade for an afternoon or evening tea. it is a great location because you can walk into Goreme by foot and visit all the local shops and restaurants. Murat kept saying we can treat the place like our home and we did. we brought one evening some cup ramen and he let us use the kitchen and boil hot water. we had good friendly chats. and after we left, he called us to say we had left one of our passports behind; he then arranged for it to be mail delivered to our next destination. The only issue was the shower in room 117 leaked a lot because the shower door was not completely closed. Maybe they can fix that. But overall a great place and Great service. You need to come here for your Cappadocia vacation.

• Ellen (10/5): We had a great stay. - We arrived early around 11am and they were able to let us check in early which was amazing. At check out we asked to check out later and that was possible. Amazing staff that took great care of us. It's a great location and just a short walk to all the restaurants. Within 1 minutes there is a hill you can walk up to see the hot air balloons in the morning. We had a great stay.

• rozs777 (8/5): Very friendly, good location - We arrived in Goreme, Cappadocia with nothing pre booked. We liked the look of the Peri Cave hotel plus it was centrally located. We were given 2 rooms in the fairy chimneys. A good price at 121 TL per room per night inc breakfast. Rather basic, but clean and comfortable. We stayed four nights. What made our stay so memorable was the owner, Mehmet. He was so very helpful with organising trips for us - a balloon ride (a must-do here) a private guided tour of the underground cities and surrounding areas of interest, a Turkish Night, a Whirling Dervish night - taxi's there and back included in the price. He took no commission from any of these. Plus he put on a barbecue for us (we bought the food, he cooked). We will definitely stay there again should we return to the area.
• Adventurer1453 (6/5): Average.... - We ended up staying here because our actual Hotel Emily's cave house did not Honour our booking so we had not much choice and just stayed in Peri Cave House. We stayed in one of the cave room which was nice but there was no Hot water in the first morning and water would stop sometimes, We had to nform the young guy at the reception, then he would start the water.. There is no Tv or phone , fridge in the room.. Don't expect too much and breakfast was average. Hotels situation is good , just beside the street of Goreme , seems quiate but at 5:00 am this street gets very busy and noisy due to Hundreds of Hot Baloon cars passing bye, going to their destination for the morning Balon ride preperation. If you are sensitive about noise I advise you to not stay in cave room on top, which we stayed. However Owner was very nice man , staff was kind.
• melaniemE1757EU (8/5): Good and cheap location! - Overall really good! Staff is welcoming and nice. Our double bed room was quite big. Breakfast was good and set outside. The hotel is located just next to the center and not far from the museum so we could get there by foot. Also, there are departure points for walks not far from the hotel.
• MGRCal (6/5): You can do much better - First of all let me say that in Goreme there are no miracles. Peri is a cheap place with large rooms and a great view in the morning, you go out and see dozens of balloons drifting in the air. The staff is nice and speak English well. However, the furniture of the rooms is poor, I had to ask hot water, breakfast is miserable. I walked around and saw better places that were even cheaper so I would not recommend Peri.
• ibrahim_2015 (10/5): one of the best hotels ın kapadokya - ı stayed at the perı cave hotel for one week and ıt was a great experience. they have beautiful rooms and the staff were very helpfull wıth planning our events. one of the best parts were there balloon tours.
• 376jj (10/5): PeriCave: A Real Find. Stay in a fairy chimney. - The PeriCave is a small hotel with fairy chimney suites. Fabulous. Reasonable. Great breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff. Limited English, but so hospitable. You can walk everywhere! We were there 5 nights and used recommendations from Mustafa for nearly everything!
• ilkercitak (2/5): Horrible - Interestingly, my first review was not published here. I had stayed this hotel in 2013 and it was terrible. The room I was staying had no hot water or heating and no action taken despite our warning. We had to find another hotel in the middle of our vacation due to the cold. I strongly suggest you not to stay here. Lack of service quality defines this place.
• 215aaronl (8/5): Comfortable Stay - I enjoyed my stay at Peri Cave. I was only there one night, but it was very comfortable. My only complaints were that my computer didn't pick up the wifi that was advertised and my shower door was broken, which allowed water to run into my bathroom floor. Also, my shower water was only a little bit warmer than room temperature, instead of what is typically considered a good shower temperature. I had a very spacious room that was accompanied by a private living room. The rooms are got pretty chilly, so I was grateful for the space heater in my room. The hotel was about two minutes' walk from the heart of Goreme (shops and restaurants).

Among other hotel/hostel , Osman confimed us the reservation and did some pre visit explaination about Goreme. He's good in English n handsome ..hahha..we have been in touch n he was very efficient n reply fast to my questions via email. He picked us up from the bus station and allow us to check in early without extra charge. The hotel is actually very near to the bus station and the small town of goreme where food is heaven...there is no need for transportation once u know ur way..its also close to the goreme open air museum (1 mile of walking) n the horse ranch. The room is spacious, comforting n have a really nice panoramic view of goreme. The bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast food was serve buffet n have variety of choices. Overall..im fully satisfied with my stay here..im sure recommend this hotel to u guys esp those with tight budjet.
• aaaaabbbk (8/5): decent - It is a decent room, good value and clean. Had no issues with this place. The location is good. We left a bag of jewellery and other assorted goods by accident, and the owner found the bag and arranged to have it sent to my family member in Turkey (at our request), who then shipped it to Australia. That was a very nice, and morally sound gesture. My sister and I were the only inhabitants of our 4 bed room for the two nights we spent there, so it was peaceful and without intrusion.

The staff is quite friendly & helped us out even after we officially check out of their place :) The breakfast spread leaves much to desire but the view from the hotel is really nice. I had communication with Mustafa via email on several occasions confirming our reservation, our airport to hotel transfer, hot air balloon trip, and 1 day trip. Once the shuttle dropped us off at the hotel in the early evening (already pitch black), we spent about 10 minutes ringing bells and trying to get into the reception. Everything was closed. We went down the street and luckily found someone who spoke enough English to make some calls. We learned that the hotel was closed, but still had no solution. We finally were able to speak to the manager/owner of the hotel, who explained that the hotel has been closed for about 1 week - though he had no excuse for us not being informed of this during that time. Eventually, he was able to help us make reservations at another, amazing hotel - though he tried to get us to pay for the difference in price!! We also were lucky enough that the other hotel staff was incredibly helpful in re-making all of our reservations for hot air balloon, day trip, and airport shuttle. All in all, it worked out - but I would definitely NOT recommend doing any business with Peri Cave Hotel in the future. There is absolutely no reason that they did not inform us of their closure before our arrival.
• felteixeirac (2/5): Horrible Standard Room - The mattress was from byzantine times - terrible!!! There were holes in the bed sheets. The bathroom was horrible and freezing. The heater wasn't working. There was no internet in our room. So, we complained with the owner and he was kind of ironic. Then we cancelled our reservation and booked a much better hotel (Blue Moon) for almost the same price.
• lisacP9906RE (10/5): Best stay ever! - This accommodation provided me the best service I've ever had. I've stayed at many hostels/hotels over my travel years and I must say it's definitely right up there on the list. The rooms were clean and roomy. Breakfast was amazing. The managers there were extremely hospitable and friendly which made me feel very welcome as I was traveling alone. They also assisted me with booking tours and the hot air balloon. One of the best experiences of my life. I wish I had a longer stay at Cappadocia which is a shame but definitely highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to book here again for my next trip.
• Mugen8000 (10/5): Fantastic location and exceptional service - We just stayed in Peri Cave Hotel for 3 nights. We stayed in the cave room which was gorgeous, roomy and comfortable. When there were some plumbing issues in our first room, the owner happily moved us to another room. The hotel is in a fantastic location nice and close to beautiful walks and places to watch the sunset as well as being easily accessible from town. There is no wifi in the cave rooms, but I would expect that would be same for all the cave hotels. I cannot give enough praise to the owner, Murat. We had multiple issues with a separate tour agency while in Goreme and Murat spent a lot of time making calls for us and trying to sort out our problems. He even switched our tour to another company with no expense to us, and left himself to follow up of the payments. He went above and beyond what was required of him to make our stay much more enjoyable.
• Faarahh (8/5): Pretty amazing - Finally I have some time to write a review about this awesome hotel. Stayed with a friend for a couple of nights. We got a room on the ground floor. Besides some trouble with the door ( I had some difficulties with locking and unlocking the door.. I had to reaallly turn the key, or else it wouldn't budge); the room that we took was pretty basic, no telly or safety box (I thought all hotels had one) but it did have a wardrobe and a dressing table and it had a cave feel to it. There was wifi, but it didn't reach our room somehow. We had to sit outside but there were tables and chairs so it was okay. What I liked about the location was that it is quieter as it is a bit further away then the center of the town. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, cheese, fruits and a couple of other things. I have forgotten already) but still nice and fulfilling.. We took the green tour and it was amazing. The tour guide (forgot her name, sorry!) was pretty cool, she told us the history etc of the places that we visited, though I felt like the tour at the underground city was a bit rushed. Oh, and we also had a chat with the owners, Murat and Mustafa, and they were friendly and could speak English! It sort of made up for the bitter incident we had earlier that day when we were on our way to Goreme. We took Suha Turizm from Ankara and when the bus stopped at Nevsehir's bus terminal, we didn't know that we had to take a transit bus (more like a van) to Goreme, and since the bus driver didn't speak much english, we just waited in the bus. That was when this one young man came up to us and asked us if we were going to Goreme and told us to follow him. As it turned out, he tried to sell us hotel and tour packages and when we refused, he just left us there and we almost missed our transit bus. Just when we thought Cappadocia was one unfriendly place where they take advantage of tourists who do not speak Turkish, Murat and Mustafa proved us wrong.
• Melbournep2005 (6/5): Mixed feelings - We stayed for 4 nights. The stay varied from disliking it to liking it. Room was ok but pretty cold at times. Was freezing on day 3 so got some blankets following day.Woke up on first morning and no hot water. They said it was solved but still only warm later. But other 3 nights fine in the evening. Breakfast was pretty poor first 2 days- plate with cold egg, a sliver of cheese,sliver of apple, biscuits, olives and bread. The next 2 days was much better with a buffet as there were more people there.room a little cold on first couple of days- better when more people in room. Wifi did not work except outside reception. Would have been good to be able to use in room & in breakfast room. Owner generally friendly but a bit abrupt at times. Did give us a lift to Ürgüp as he passed us waiting by the bus stop. But was a little abrupt when asked why no hot water or wifi did not work. Transfer from Kayseri was slow to leave- waited 45 minutes to leave- but not fault of pension.
