Guest Reviews
- Simon (8/5): - Designer-Apartment in guter Lage.
- Michael (10/5): Great stay! - Hotel was in a quiet location but easy to find. Host was very responsive and helpful. All the information I needed was emailed well before check in. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was a good size.
- Richard (10/5): Practically Perfect! - A wonderful place to stay. It was really a mini-cabin, with a kitchenette and a couch, plus a long bench on which to lay suitcases and stuff. Very clean and very well thought-out, with a Scando interior. Bath was ultra-modern. Quiet, bright, and with big windows and nice lighting. Best of all, we got to see the Northern Lights! Would definitely stay agaibn
- Denis (10/5): - Perfect apartment to spend a rainy evening after a long day on the road. Instructions for how to find/access the apartment were very detailed and easy to follow. Had everything we needed for a comfortable evening in.
If I find myself in this part of Iceland again I’ll be looking to stay here.
- Justin (10/5): - Beautiful spot to stay along the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Clean, modern, comfy and cozy. Great location for accessing the rest of the drive. Owners were friendly. Loved our stay here. Kitchenette had a coffee pot, sink, fridge, among other amenities. Thanks for a memorable stop along our road trip around Iceland ❤️
- Fabian (10/5): - This apt is big and brand new. Couldn`t believe it. All perfect.
- Scott (10/5): - Nice and modern
- Chenchen (10/5): - clean and modern
- Tomasz (10/5): - Nice place
- don (10/5): - I really love this place. It has everything we needed. The bathroom is great, actually the best shower we had, considering we have stayed at different fosshotels in different towns.
- Anna (10/5): - This place was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was awesome. The bathroom and shower were great. Water pressure was great and the towels were nice and big. The only thing that I would mention was the email with the key info came from Goda properties which got lost in all the emails I get, I was looking for an email with the listing name.
- Jin woo (10/5):
- Erika (10/5): - Everything. Locations, size, amenities, cleanliness, and comfort.
- Taylor (10/5): - Wonderful, clean and spacious apartment. The bathroom was great and the heated floors were very cool. It was a very comfortable place to stay and very conveniently located with many sights close by. There’s also a cafe right up the street. The view from the desk was great and there were even horses that you could see. Everything was great!
- Carey (10/5): - We loved our stay. The apartment is stylish, comfortable and clean. Plenty of space and everything you need! I highly recommend to anyone exploring the West!
- Morgan (10/5): - Very nice place to stay, it was quite spacious
- Tatiana Shizue (10/5): - Very modern and great location with an amazing view!
- Dhaval (10/5): - This property was a beautiful modern apartment in an isolated area. It was a great location if you want to see the peninsula.
Great amenities, clean and excellent communication.
- enrique (10/5): - Diseño y comodidad del apartamento
- Sang Ryul (10/5): - It is a new property and well maintained. Easy to find.
- JYOTHI (10/5): Outstanding Property! - Eiohus Apartments were spectacular! We've stayed at 10 properties over the course of our Iceland trip. Eiohus was 1 of our top 2, if not the best! Very clean. Very modern. Spacious for a family of five. We had enough bedding (our 4 year old slept with Mom in bed). The only warning I would give to potential consumers is that the email/message detailing your specific apartment and the entry code for the keys does not necessarily come from the vendor where you bought the stay. The email/message comes from Godo Property. We had some confusion about that whether it was sent until we saw the Godo email. And also the phone contact for this property is not them either. They listed a nearby restaurant Rjukandi as the phone contact, but the Rjukandi staff had no idea about Eiohaus. So be advised of that as well. Not many dining options nearby but there is one place, the Rjukandi restaurant. Otherwise, this place is fabulous!
- Deborah (8/5): Just ok - Nice property, no shops on dining nearby. Skylight in room with no shade makes sleeping very difficult durning the summer months when there is no darkness. Duvet is textured on both sides, not very comfortable to sleep with.
- Michael (8/5): - Lovely cabin, good breakfast. Close to Geysir and Gulfoss. Two nice sights.
- Arun (10/5): - Clean and spacious property with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Beautiful views of the country side. It is close to the national park . Wish we had stayed here two nights to visit all the nearby national park sites.
- Gabrielle (10/5): - So quiet and beautiful, this was the most peaceful accommodation of our trip, and it is perfectly located! Highly recommend!
- Doreen (10/5): - We were there renting two rooms for two nights with another couple. Rooms were clean and big with view of an open field, just so comfortable and beautiful. One thing they really need to fix right away is the heating. We turned off all the heat, but both rooms were toasty hot that all of us could not sleep and sweating.
The closest restaurant is at Rjukandi Hotel nearby. DO NOT GO. We had done the Ring Road and Westfjords for two weeks and been eating out everyday, to our opinions this restaurant is the worst one in our trip. Fish soup was cold with only few pieces of tiny fish in a like Campbell Tomato base alphabet soup. Fish and chips were dry and overly cooked. We were not picky, but we definitely nominate this as the worst restaurant in our 14 day trip in Iceland
- Teresa (10/5): - Large, beautiful scenery with horses in the backdrop
- Alison (10/5): - Loves our stay. The shower drain was clogged and we would have liked seating area on deck
- Benjamin (10/5): - Great apartment with nice amenities. Communication with the owner was great and clear. Great place to stay if you're exploring West Iceland!
- Timothy (10/5): - Property was super nice. Best of our trip!
- Sandra (10/5): - Beautiful and clean property. Made our stay very pleasant. surrounded by Beautiful open plains, offers a fantastic view, and there are even horses in the distance.
- Tiffany (6/5): - I arrived in a room that was uncomfortably warm, I immediately adjusted the thermostat to no avail. I called the owner and she sent her property manager over to check on the thermostat. The room temperature remained the same. The temperature was over 80F for three days and nights. I chose not to open the windows and doors due to flying bugs. I contacted the owner again a second time and didn’t receive a response. As for the condition of the property, another thing I immediately noticed was that the bathroom had a unpleasant odor. After showering, I noticed from the angle I stood that the surrounding toilet floor had what appeared to be men's drippings. Urine stains on the tile. Disgusting! I travel with Lysol disinfectant and sprayed the entire area and placed the bath rug over. On a good note, the unit was quiet, conveniently located, bed was comfortable and the kitchen amenities were great
- Judith (10/5): - Sleek modern apartment with every necessity! Just off the main road but very peaceful.
- Michelle H. (10/5): Fantastic place! - This accommodation is meticulous. Huge space, well appointed, beautiful views, quiet, fantastic bed.....Can't say enough about how perfect it was for our travelling. Definitely would recommend it and also stay again!
- Charlie S. (10/5): Great stay - Nicely located little building. Inside is really nice too. All check-in information was provided well ahead of time and easy to understand.
- Kim (10/5): - This place was the best value, and the nicest, of our Iceland trip. It was a perfect way to end our time, and we were so happy we had 2 nights (wish we had more). Plenty of space, lovely furnishings, and an amazing bathroom. I would spend a week here (and hope I can in the future). It was inspiring, relaxing and luxurious...and an amazing price.
- Sam (10/5): - Great apartment with excellent view into nearby farmland. Location is near ring road. Bathroom has heated floor while kitchen has ample utensils but lack condiments. Overall, it is an amazing place to stay.
- Catherine (10/5): - Right off the main road. Very well situated to discover the peninsula.
Very modern and design, very spacious. Also private and quiet
Beautiful view, horses and sheep in the backyard
Best apartment that we had in Iceland (and reasonably priced)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Highly recommend this place. Stylish contemporary design, beautiful, spotless, great location overlooking field of horses and sheep.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Lovely apartment - might have been 5 stars except for two things. Firstly the living space was not thoroughly cleaned (even worse because the bathroom was spotless?!). Secondly there was no cot available even though we had booked for an infant. On ringing my husband was told the baby should sleep with us and reminded the deposit was non refundable. I suggest given that travel cots are inexpensive that this would be a logical investment in the business. We don’t expect to go to such a high end property and find it not family friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Updated property with a very nice shower and heated floors. Has a kitchen area and a nice view
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Apartments! - We loved our stay at Eiðhús! It was a perfect location for exploring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and an even more perfect location for daydreaming (or night-dreaming, because it never got dark) while watching the horses play in the fields and the birds swoop in every direction.
Everything was new, clean, and comfortable. Having a kitchenette was super helpful because of limited access to food nearby.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was an amazing property with crazy beautiful views from all directions. The heated bathroom floor was the best!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good - Very clean and new. Fully equipped with kitchenette. Reception was very helpful.
- Orlando (10/5): Great base for travelling around Snaefjellness - Great
- Jennifer (10/5): Gorgeous room, gorgeous setting, gracious staff - Beautiful, modern studio apartment in a peaceful setting. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel welcome and provided us with a map of all the sites in Snæfellsnes. This apartment was the perfect place to land after adventuring. It’s elegant, incredibly clean, and organized with modern, high quality appointments. We hope to return!
