The rooms having AC was a major plus, and my room had a great balcony, as the shower had great water pressure and plenty of warm water, all you could need ☺️ The bed I had was a tiny bit stiff for me, but that’s personal preference as I like a very soft bed. Other than that, you may hear the doors close in the hallway here and there from your room, but everything else was fantastic!

• Gillian (8/5): A really positive and happy stay and the staff and Umberto made us feel very welcome. - Donnaciccina is in a perfect location in the pedestrian part of Tropea. No hire cars are permitted in the centre. Close to restaurants, shops and the main attractions. It is a beautifully maintained historic house, with winding staircases, stone walls and many of the rooms have shuttered balconies over looking the cobbled road or distant sea views. The rooms are large and comfortable with modern air conditioning, which is a must during the summer months. Umberto, the owner, is delightful, he is always around and happy to help with any questions or requests. He booked a boat tour for us and helped us with our luggage. He was friendly, welcoming and helpful. As you cannot take your car into parts of Tropea, he gave us the contact details for a safe and secure parking company.. Bla Bla parkiing for the car. They drop you off near to the hotel and pick you up, although you do have to pull your suitcases down the cobbled main street to the B&B. You can choose to have breakfast, the croissants are wonderful. The only issue might be the stairs for an elderly or infirm couple.

My parent's room didn't have any noise at all so it depends on where your room is located relative to the main street.

Уютный номер, достаточно пространства, везде чисто. Рядом терраса, на которой мы сушили наши полотенца после пляжа. В номере два кондиционера, что крайне важно было в августе. Расположение рядом с главной улицей, откуда можно отправиться на море (10 минут) или в город . Но самое главное достоинство этого отеля - его хозяин! Очень отзывчивый, добродушный и приятный человек. Все расскажет, покажет, посоветует, не останется равнодушным к вашим проблемам. Все сотрудники очень вежливые, участливые и говорят по английски. С радостью вернусь сюда ещё раз!

You couldn’t ask for a better location! Umberto and Corrado, the hosts, were truly fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the best of the city with wonderful hosts!

• Grega (9/5): - Really kind and helpful hosts, always available and genuinely attentive. You truly feel welcome and heard. The location is perfect—right in the very heart of Tropea’s historic and tourist center. Naturally, that means it’s not the quietest spot at night, but that’s to be expected when you're staying in such a lively area and not out in nature. That said, we do feel the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved.
• MaSz (9/5): Wypad z przyjaciólkami - Lokalizacja w samym Centrum. Blisko do sklepów i restauracji. Rewelacyjna obsługa. Poźne zameldowanie odbyło sie bezproblemowo. Na recepcji był Konrad, który od samego początku dbał o nasz komfort. Konrad jest świetną osobą i bardzo pomocnym człowiekiem, który dba o uśmiech gości. Pokój dwupoziomowy z klimatyzacją. Piękny widok z okna. Wygodne łóżka. Czysto w pokoju. Pyszna włoska kawa na śniadanie. Śniadanie idealne jak na włoskie klimaty - świeżo przyrządzona jajecznica. Byłyśmy zachwycone. Właściciel zaoferował nam ciasto upieczone przez mamę. Czułyśmy sie tu bardzo zaopiekowane. Z pewnością powrócimy. Brakowało mi pomidorów przy śniadaniu.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the charming old town of Tropea, with bars, restaurants, and a beautiful sea view from the nearby viewpoint just steps away. The hotel itself is very unique – full of character, with an authentic historic atmosphere that makes your stay even more special. Umberto, the host, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! • Cornelia (8/5): - Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte 3 Fenster und damit auch die Möglichkeit, Badeklamotten draußen auf der Leine zu trocknen. Das vor Ort zugebuchte Frühstück ist eigentlich nur für "salzige Frühstücker" lohnenswert. Eier, Wurst, Käse vom Feinsten. Kein Müsli, kein Joghurt, wenig Gebäck, Cappu aus dem nicht besonders sauber gehaltenen Automaten. Bedingt durch die zentrale Lage - die wir sehr genossen haben - war es nachts recht laut.
• Antoinette (10/5): Central location, comfortable rooms and excellent hosts. - Umberto and Corrado were excellent hosts; very attentive ensuring that we were comfortable and felt welcome. They even loaned us a beach umbrella. The rooms were well appointed with their own unique charm. Best of all was the central location - easy to find and close to everything. We highly recommend visiting Tropea and staying at Donnaciccina Accommodation.

• Nino (7/5): Ideal location in the heart of Tropea - The location was excellent. Umberto, our host, was lovely & very accommodating. Unfortunately, our room on arrival was not very clean & there was a lingering odour in the hallway which thankfully dissipated

Made our stay memorable and can't wait to go back there again. If you are going to Tropea, just book this place...you won't regret it.

• Cassidy (7/5): Unconfirmed but likely bed bugs, very noisy at night. - Location, large spacious room Was very noisy at night until around 3am, had to turn the power off (aircon included) when leaving room meaning it was hot when we would return which is not ideal in summer. I also felt bites during the night that I suspect may have been bed bugs given their look.

• Edwin (10/5): - Umberto, was such a lovely host and a really genuine person, he went out of his way to help organise our stay in every way. The breakfast was excellent and fresh squeezed orange juice from his Garden, and he catered for any food allergies. He really made our stay in Tropea special and we will definitely be back again and have already recommended this accommodation to our friends Emer and Edwin Ireland.

Ma soprattutto, Umberto è una persona straordinaria, estremamente premurosa e sempre pronta ad aiutare e a rendere il soggiorno il più piacevole possibile. La colazione è squisita. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel.
• Marc (10/5): Ancienne bâtisse idéalement située - Belle et ancienne bâtisse idéalement située en plein centre de Tropea. Le propriétaire est particulièrement sympathique et aidant. Les chambres sont spacieuses. La literie est confortable. Belle salle de bain. Bon petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux et des oeufs bios.
• Uta (9/5): Tolle Lage und sehr netter und zuvorkommende Gastwirt - Tolle Lage mitten in der historischen Altstadt. Ein schönes altes Gebäude mit sehr geräumig Zimmer mit antiken Möbeln. Da wir zu einer Zeit kamen, in der nicht so viel los war, haben wir sogar ein besseres Zimmer bekommen als gebucht. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut. Der Hotelbesitzer ist sehr nett, gab uns gute Tipps auf Anfrage und hat uns auch zum entfernt liegenden kostenlosen Parkplatz gelotst und auch das Gepäck dorthin wieder bei Abfahrt gebracht. Der Frühstücksraum liegt im Souterrain und ist deshalb dunkel. Bei nicht gutem Wetter ist es zwar ideal, bei Sonnenschein wäre ein Frühstück im Freien jedoch viel schöner. Parkplatz entfernt war kein Problem, da wir hingebracht wurden.

• Lillian (9/5): Wonderful location, beautiful historic building right in the old town. Wonderful helpful host. Highly recommended! - The location was perfect, excellent staff very helpful. Beautiful historic building. The only thing was the stairs we had to climb with our luggage.
• Monique (10/5): Wonderful and great experience - The location and room is amazing. Close to bars, restaurants, shopping, mini market and beach. We had one of the top floor rooms with views of the sea. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was well priced and had great variety. Umberto the owner and Conrad are wonderful hosts and made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Umberto takes great pride for his accommodation and is so helpful. We had a great experience and highly recommended. Nothing.
• Fabian (8/5): Urige Unterkunft in der Altstadt - Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt in der schönen Altstadt, rundherum sind viele Restaurants und Shops. Zum Strand ist es ebenfalls nicht weit. Das Hotel ist sehr urig und authentisch, typisch italienisch. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Umberto hat uns extra noch persönlich begrüßen wollen und auf einen Kaffee im Hotel eingeladen. Die Kritik der oft genannten Lautstärke der Fußgängerzone können wir nicht teilen, unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer, insbesondere das Badezimmer, sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dies hat auch seinen Charme, könnte aber auch gern etwas erneuert/restauriert werden. Unsere Toilettenspülung war einmal defekt, wurde aber auch sofort repariert, also alles gut.
