The owners are super nice and friendly. - Easy to get to and close to Lakeside where we were having a family reunion Bunkbeds are very close together in heights, easy to knock your head when sitting up on the bottom bunk. Had to go buy a 9 x 13 pan that would fit in the toaster oven for breakfast casserole.

- Sara (10/5): - We took a quick trip to celebrate my dad's birthday, and this cottage was exactly what we needed! It was very clean, had plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary items. The staff was very personable, parking was ample, and it was overall a great, family-friendly place. It is also in a great location, as it is central to the places we frequent when we are in town. We definitely plan to return!

I drove to the cottage assigned, he was yelling what are you doing. Instead of asking how can I help you. He continued to yell duribg check in. The cottages were dusty. The AC barely work because it was covered with dust. Ceiling fans just blowing dirt.

- Elizabeth (5/5): Too expensive for the quality of the units - Plenty of beds for my family of 5. There was a pool. There was a fire pit. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit There is no walking access to the lake. The one living room window AC unit didn't reach the bedrooms no matter how low we set it, despite the small space so it was very hot. I felt like for the price of our stay it should have way more updates and cleanliness. (Ex. The showers were clogged, bathroom sink with no counter, no bathroom fan, all towels and wash clothes were stained. Having a couch that is not stained and nearly broken down, a fridge that doesn't have cracked drawers, a garbage disposal, a trash can that isn't broken, and at least have ac units in the bedrooms) The cottage could have been cleaner. The floors turned my kids feet black, cobwebs everywhere, and dust flew onto our things when we switched the ceilings fans circulation. Ants covered the outside seating so we couldn't actually enjoy it as much as we'd hoped. Obviously bugs are going to be outside but again, if you're going to charge as much as you do and have a designated seating area outside, the perimeter should be treated better.

- Beth (8/5): Happy with stay - Location was great, nice clean pool. Nice to have kitchen (though with stovetop but not oven), living room, and two bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean and bright. Stay was only a couple days so fact there weren't a washer and dryer in my unit didn't matter. One burner on stovetop didn't work, A/C was very loud, and only one A/C for unit so had to keep bedroom doors open. Furniture was older.

Fishing piers were very near by and the onsite pool and fire pits filled up our downtime. I would recommend this to families and couples as a simple retreat that is close to everything!
- Brian (10/5): Fishing TRIP Successful!!!! - Traveled with family to do some fishing. The cottage was clean and exactly what we wanted and needed for our trip. Would stay here for sure again. Thank you for the hospitality. I really can't think of anything we did not like. The location was wonderful and so were the accomdations.
- Brittiney (8/5): Okay... Pretty much Camping with a Roof - Stayed for a few days. Didn't really know what to expect. Place seemed safe. Shower sucked-- shower head never really hit your body right, the mat for the floor was terrible. Ended up using a bunch of towels to not slip in bathroom. They replenished you with a whole lot of towels so that was good. Microwave and stove tops only-- sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. We stayed in cabin 6 and the A/C just wasn't cutting it. It would run all through the day but only really got cold for an hour in the morning. The separate rooms were nice and beds were comfy. The appeal here is the pool. To note the pool is covered for majority of the day by a few large trees which means you swim in the shade. Although sme chairs and parts of the deck were in need of some repairs the kids were able to enjoy the water. You share it with whomever else is there which could be a good or bad thing depending on how many people are staying. You can see the water from the back of the property, but it is just a marina. You cannot touch the lake. There is another small park down past the cottages that you can get onto a beach and touch water. There are not many places to hang beach clothes to dry other than outside over a picnic table. There is one hook in bathroom and a shower bar. Location was good. Few minutes from the state park and Kelley's Island Ferry. A 20ish minute drive to Put-In-Bays ferry. Again it was just okay.

We''ll be back! - I visited with my daughter, her son and her three grand children (and dog) just for the weekend to escape the heat in Fairborn, near Dayton. We wanted a location that allowed us to just relax. The kids swam a lot, both in your pool and at the public beach near Port Clinton. We also visited the African Safari on Sunday afternoon before heading home. We wholeheartedly recommend that attraction. I'm hoping we will be able to visit you in 2026. Thank you. PKG Only one thing: the pillow on one of the beds was SO hard, like sleeping on a rock. Maybe that could be replaced unless someone actually likes a very hard pillow.

- Stacy (10/5): - If you are looking for a cute home-away-from-home I would recommend Little Ted’s Cottages. As a family of 5 this was perfect. Everyone had their own bed and it was cozy. The pool was very nice and there are plenty of free beaches, fishing spots, sites to see, and shopping within a few minutes drive.

- Richard (10/5): - We had 3 cottages. One of the cottages the air conditioner was intermittent with the cold air. While the kids were at the pool they replaced it with a brand new a/c unit. By the time we returned the cottage was cool and comfortable. We got the kids led light badminton birdies. They played badminton as it got dark & loved the streaming lights. Plenty of room to play and run for kids. Sandy could not have been more on top of every concern of our stay. I'd like something to complain about but I don't have any.

- Harold (9/5): We had a very enjoyable experience staying at Ted’s, and most likely will be going back. - Very clean, caretakers were very nice and informative about activities, stores, and restaurants in the area. Cabin needed a little maintenance work, but nothing of great concern. Paint on one door had peeled off, and window blinds had broken slats. I’ve been in maintenance most of my life, so I repaired the blinds while I was there. 🙂
- Dennis (9/5): Over all the location, staff, cottage was very nice, if ever we go back to Lake Erie we would stay again. - Very clean and friendly The weather was extremely hot the weekend we were there and the air conditioning was not up to par for the heat.

- Pam (2/5): - Our unit was dirty. Towels looked unwashed. Air conditioning was hardly working on a hot and humid 90 degree day. The staff was less than helpful and very disinterested in good customer service.

- Matthew (1/5): Not worth the price, please save yourself and stay somewhere else. - I liked the location. 15 minutes to either ferry, close to key restaurants. The room was dirty dirty. Dust and hair on all the ceiling fans. The cover of the A/C was absolutely filthy. Caked in grime and hair. Outside was dirty. Cigarette butt holder was full and cigarette butts were all over the grounds. Window sills were dirty, stovetop had old food in the burner pans and on the stovetop surface, dirty silverware drawers, microwave. I found a random pill under my bed, luckily it was myself and another adult but could you imagine if your child or pet found it first? When I talked to the blonde haired lady in the office she was very dismissive with me. She didn’t engage in the conversation and it seemed like she didn’t care at all. I stayed here in 2018 and I will never go back. A parking ticket was left on my vehicle about 10 minutes after I got back one night. Simply signed “Manager” So I put my parking pass in my window but your management team could be given a list of vehicles that are checked in and with that extra time they save they could be cleaning your rooms. It’s shameful that you neglect cleanliness that much.

- Michael (10/5): - We were attending my step sons wedding up on Kelley's Island, so we did not sspwnd much time at the cabin. But, for the time we were there, it was a pleasant experience, and I will recommend Little Ted's to my friends and family.
- Russell (7/5): Comfortable and close to local attractions and restaurants - Spacious cabin. Kitchen cooking pans/ utensils could use upgrading, but adequate for our needs.
- Dina (5/5): The tiki bar was not working and I was not impressed with the service lady that checked us in. - It was in a great location and the pool was nice There was no sofa bed as listed in the booking. On our last night there I was asked about our kids ages and they were going to charge me more money u til I had to show that I had already listed their ages in the booking and had already paid the extra money for them! No response back from the woman who contacted me after that. Had to keep checking to be sure I wasn’t charged!
- Brad (8/5): - I had limited interaction with the staff, but they were friendly when I did. The grounds and cottage were clean. Seems great for a fishing trip or trip with friends. The furniture set up is a little funky and everything is very dated but overall pretty clean and cared for.
- Courtney (9/5): Had a good mini vacation. - The pool was very nice. Very quiet area. And a great location. Could’ve been a little cleaner. But all in all it was a good stay.
- Guest (1/5): Renter beware. - The air conditioner and fridge worked. Bathroom was nice and updated. Beds were comfortable. The pictures on Booking.com do not align with the actual cottage that was provided. Pictures on booking.com showed a fully updated cottage with updated furniture and vinyl plank flooring. We were provided with a cottage with stained carpet, outdated and worn furniture, and outdated. Upon discussing with the property manager, no apology was provided and they were of little assistance as they were at full occupancy. Renter beware!
- Slack (6/5): - The staff are friendly, pleasant, and efficient. The grounds are neat and tidy. The exteriors of buildings look nice. The cleaning staff provided smiles and fresh towels daily. Pets are allowed, which means a lot to families with furry loved ones and that option is hard to find in that area. The layout of the cottage works well. Nice to have dish and bath soap, utensils, dishes, microwave, toaster. Thanks for all of that! The staff work hard to keep the place tidy inside and out, but the unit we stayed in needs a serious paint job and some repairs so it matches the quality of their efforts and the rental price. The unit seems less clean because of those defects. Adding teaspoons for kids and other little mouths (only tablespoons in kitchen) would be good. The rocks and lawn look nice, and adding a little landscaping with a few bushes, grasses, and/or flowers would spruce up the place too. Thanks for asking for input.

- Peter (10/5): Beautiful place great stay I loved it - I love the facility I loved how it was updated and it was more modern had enough beds for the family and it was right next to the water Bring a pillow topper or bring something that could make your stay more comfortable for the beds they are horrible the pillows are horrible I didn't sleep real good but I mean on all in all it would be like a 8 out of 10 for the place

- Tanya (10/5): - There was a very homey feeling. The people who run the place are helpful and accommodating. It was quiet and peaceful, had no problem sleeping. The property was clean and well kept. Only thing to mention is flat pillows - bring your own, but that was my only issue and that's an easy fix.

- Corey (6/5): - The cottage was spacious and clean. What disappointed me was when we arrived the AC was running but it was still warm inside. I quickly realized the heat was on. The stove is way outdated and knobs for the burners were missing. The freezer worked great! Fridge barely worked at all. Like i said at the beginning it was clean and spacious but we wont be staying again
- natasha (4/5): Not so great - Glorified trailer park, no privacy whatsoever, it was supposed to have private patio and/or a garden, there was none if that, and cottages are way too close to each other. We brought grilling supplies, but grill was broken, new one was promised to be installed the next day, but it was not. Was hot inside the cabin, old A/C was noisy, but did not reach to the bedrooms. But if you are looking for an inexpensive option for a large group - this will work. We will stay elsewhere next time.
- Sheila (10/5): Perfect getaway - My grandson had a great time in the pool which was very clean. The campground itself is also very clean and tidy. The cottage was roomy enough for all four if us and the dog. We would stay here again
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - There was enough living and sleeping space to not be on top of each other and the AC worked well and kept things nice and cool. Pillows weren’t very good and pillow cases were stained but we brought our own so it wasn’t an issue. Towel bar in bathroom was broken. Overall though it was nice and would stay again.

- Cory (8/5): - Teds was close enough to anything but far enough to be away from craziness. A good value for families wanting to see the sights around the Port Clinton Cedar Point area. Pool was clean and the byob tiki bar was fun. We would go back. Nothing too fancy but still a fun place to stay.
- Noel (2/5): - When we got there, the cottage was flooded. They said that they would take care of it. We left to look around the town and while we were gone, I got a text that they would have the cleaning crew see what they could do the next morning. When we got back, the office was closed (5:30), so we left the key and a note and left to go home. Three hours away. It was a disaster.
- Lisa (10/5): Weekend Getaway - We loved everything about Little Ted's Cottages! Amazing location, nice pool, fire pits and amenities, and the kindest, sweetest staff over any place I've ever stayed. The cottage was roomy, updated and comfortable, everything we needed was there. It was very safe and security was on site. He made us feel welcome and was so kind and friendly! The cottage and grounds were very clean. We will definitely stay here every time we visit the Lake Erie area. Little Ted's more than exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend! It was a great place to relax!
