Shelley Paul (8/5): Will stay again. Great clean place Minor fixes will make it wonderful. - Cute cozy nostalgic vibe, large lofted lobby with fireplace and lots of nice wood details. SUPER clean, quiet and beds were comfortable. Hot water in bath are was fast. Staff friendly. Great back deck and great indoor pool area. Breakfast had several options. Good for free. Few minor fixes could make it a 10 wonderful rating. I rated an 8 but my room rated a 7. See below. Will stay here again though, as Im sure had i mentioned issues they would've accommodated us by offering another room. Our room had no working light switches near door. Shouldnt have to walk into dark hotel room all the way to beds to find lamp that takes several attempts. Vanity light over sink was not working at all which made using it difficult w shades drawn for privacy. Also. With many empty rooms we were given one with large crack down one window that had been taped for what looks like some time. Come on. Ugh. HOWEVER we were tired and did not mention these things and i feel sure they would have kindly moved us. It was very late and we were tired. Rooms are very clean. So with some minor detail it could be wonderful. (Office chair had stains and scuffed up arms, easy cheap fix). Deck is awesome but looks neglected w only a few mismatched chairs w tables here n there and no cozy spot like pictured but again. Easy fix. Beautiful otherwise. All in all, we WILL stay here again. Close to shopping and gas and coffee and restaurants.

Great Weekend - First of all, we love staying there as we have previously because of the Beautiful lobby area entrance for one reason and the location is convenient to get to our family and shopping areas. The breakfast was good except it would be even better if you serve bacon as well as sausage because some people can't eat sausage; always have grits, eggs, bacon & sausage instead of Just biscuits, gravy & sausage. The waffle machines are great and the breakfast area was very nice, pleasant atmosphere if you wanted to sit & eat there. Coffee and juice area was very nice and neat. It would be nice to supply a few small trays in case guests want to take food to their room. I feel there should be more towels in the room other than 2 of each ( wash cloth , hand and bath towel). There should be 4 each for two people for 2 days so we wouldn't have to ask for more the next morning. The cleaning staff was very nice and friendly. Great snacks and drinks up front available. The light in the bathroom didn't work; worker forgot to come back until we had to notify the front desk. He was contacted and he did come back and made things right. In the meantime, b4 we knew he was coming back, we removed the microwave to get to the outlet to remove the lamp cord to use for light in the bathroom and behind the microwave was very dirty. Just FYI to make note that the area needs to be cleaned as well periodically! However, the front desk receptionist was very friendly and accommodating to offer us another room but we felt it to be an inconvenience since we were already settled. I feel we should have been compensated the $25 early check in fee since the room was supposedly ready anyway & considering the light was not working in the bathroom, but was not. The ice machine area on the Ist floor needs something more in there so it doesn't look like a cheap hotel. Maybe a small chair & table w/ a plant, trash can or something to make it more inviting. Just a suggestion.

April (7/5): Staffing - The view was nice. The pool was hot. No one was working the breakfast. It was till 10 but from 830 to 930 it was empty. We waited, no one came to fill it up. No one was at the desk. I waited to check out, finally she came out and was mad from the jump because she has to get up. I told her the food was empty. She exhaled and rolled her eyes and said OMG. Did nothing about it. Acted like she didnt wanna be there and we was a inconvenience.

The faucet in the bathtub was marred by years of water stains. The shower head was awful. The refrigerator was loud. I unplugged it. Lame TV with low resolution, but that's mostly minor to me. The bed was fine. I actually slept well, maybe partly due to the A/C unit was good and could make the room a meat locker and I like it pretty cold at night. Not the hotel's fault, but some geezer, after getting his eggs, just tossed the serving spoon into the eggs. No thanks. Went elsewhere for breakfast. Told the desk clerk. I wonder if she knew to tell the kitchen staff. Did it get fixed? I wouldn't stay there again. Disappointed in Wyndham.
Kelly (8/5): - Clean & fresh smelling. Bed was comfortable & air conditioner worked great. Loved the fact they had a mat for the shower. They get extra points for that. Would definitely stay there again & would definitely recommend to others. N/A

ALEXANDER (10/5): - Staff nice. TVs antiquated, Roku remote does not work. Room was set at 65 degrees when we arrived. Who likes 65? Wasting $
Jordan (10/5): - I loved how convenient it was to dining options and close to shopping and restaurants. I loved the Lake view and how cozy the hotel itself was. I was kinda down that the hot tub was closed, but overall it was a nice stay. The hotel staff was top notch and went above and beyond. I highly suggest staying here!

Barbara (7/5): Nice hotel, staff needs help. - The location was great. The staff was never at the front desk. Also had issues with staff and my service dog with my room. The staff never at the front desk and not understanding about service dogs.

Eddie (9/5): Very nice accommodations, pleasant front desk help, comfortable room. - Great location. Beautiful facilities. Excellent customer service and very helpful staff. Could improve the exercise room. Breakfast needs to offer a few more choices. Would definitely stay here again when I travel to the area. The exercise room needs some major improvements. One set of dumbbells and a couple of low budget treadmills didn’t work for me. Breakfast didn’t offer any health-conscious options, perhaps better yogurt, cottage cheese, water?
William (10/5): Friendly Vidalia - The AmericInn was a fine hotel for our getaway. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Front desk staff was friendly and multitask when things got busy.

CA (5/5): It would be wise to update your property and procedure.i know becausei worked for Wyndham - Maybe the price but thats being generous. The jacuzzi was out of order. The pool wasnt the cleanest. Had to ask for towels. Breakfast was subpar. Mattress was not comfortable. Pillows were a joke. Look above

Brandon (10/5): - Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly! I was disappointed that the hot tub was out of order/closed, but the pool is a nice indoor heated pool and there is a fantastic outdoor grilling area overlooking the lake. Beautiful!
