- David (7/5): - Nice bed and bathroom. Breakfast is okay. Asian style, sweets, soup, egg-corner and also ramen. Toast and marmelad. Don't know why they don't have a spare toiletpaper in the bathroom. Fitness room wasn't much. 4 bikes, 4 threadmills and 1 station for different workout.

- Marion (10/5): Superbe hôtel sur Makassar - Ce fut un soulagement de pouvoir poser nos bagages dans cet hôtel après des nuits dans des endroits hostiles. Localisation idéale dans le centre. Nous avons été très bien reçus, chambre spacieuse et très propre. Piscine très agréable et très bien entretenue. Elle ferme trop tôt par contre…Nous n’avons rien à dire, la propreté, l’accueil et le professionnalisme du personnel est irréprochable. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est aussi top, de qualité, très varié, c’est rare de trouver autant de variété. Très bonne insonorisation et hôtel calme, nous avons très bien dormi. Excellent rapport qualité/prix, hôtel fortement recommandé. RAS

Since me and my colleagues stayed there quite often, i asked the marketing abiut corporate room rate.. Surprisingly the room rate given by the marketing staff was significantly higher compared to the tarriff on booking.com or any other travel websites. 😁

- Wim (8/5): Heerlijk hotel met vriendelijke personeel. - Prima hotel in het centrum van Makassar met in de omgeving genoeg restaurantjes, banken en levendigheid. Hotel kamer ruim genoeg met ruime badkamer en toilet. Zeepjes, shamoo, tandenborstels en slippers aanwezig. Handdoeken werden op verzoek verschoond. Bedden lagen lekker, niet doorgezakt. Hotel heeft een lekker zwembad wat aan het restaurant grenst. We wilden bij het hotel lunchen en hoewel dat niet gebruikelijk was werd voor ons wel een uitzondering gemaakt. Prima eten, wel weinig vega mogelijkheden. We hadden een taxi nodig naar de nachtbus. Receptionist dacht met ons mee en aangezien app niet werkte heeft hij op zijn account een taxi voor ons besteld. Inchecken duurde heel erg lang. Men diende informatie in verschillende systemen te zetten en uit verschillende boeken te halen. Deze leek men niet op orde te hebben. Ook als je een vraag had en er enkele mensen wilden inchecken diende je lang te wachten

Recensito con punteggio ottimo su Booking, in realtà il rapporto qualità/prezzo non riflette questa valutazione. Oltre la sontuosa hall di ingresso, i piani hanno aspetto squallido. Pulci nel letto. Condizionatore rumoroso. Scarico doccia parzialmente intasato. Finestre blindate. Mezz'ora per avere i bagagli dal piano all'uscita. Piscina non fruibile perchè chiusa (h18) Nel complesso sicuramente standard elevato per il contesto Makassar/Indonesia, ma con molta strada da percorrere prima che possano essere attribuite qualità da ottimo hotel. Nota: siamo backpackers, non abbiamo alcuna pretesa di soggiornare nel lusso e ci adattiamo ad ogni situazione, ma se paghi per un Hotel ottimo ti aspetti un giudizio che rifletta la realtà. Non è stato il caso.

Means they didn't clean in up well.

If you are thinking of doing some work that involves conference calls, the Internet will not be the best. Although next door there is a cafe with nice WiFi.

One of the front desk people organized a car to Rammang-Rammang for me which turned out to be with a very reliable driver. *Excellent location. *Comfortable room. *Good value for the money. *Breakfast was marginal. Lots of the items had been consumed and were not replaced with fresh new items. *Very noisy on my floor. Loud guests and lots of chaos after midnight. Also the canned music playing over the speakers in the hallway was a bit loud and would start playing at 7:30 in the morning. *The property is a bit worn and could use a little overhaul, but it's still nice enough.

So we can easily throw things that is big like food box. - Clean bathroom, hot water is great It's the best 3 star hotel I've ever been staying in Makassar. - Front office sometimes leaves reception area. - Breakfast (porridge section) was finished so quick because it's great and can be comforting food first thing in the morning. But the refilling system is slow. - Still having plastic bottles in the room. Many hotels have switched to more eco-friendly options. - Some lights are connected through one switch, so it's super light, and super dark. I prefer it to be separated, so I can adjust my light level. - Fridge doesn't work. (Need to call maintenance first) - safe deposit box doesn't work. - Ivy (2/5): Double Payment - Hotels.com apparently is not on the hotel’s panel even though the website had collected my money in advance. I arrived at the hotel and they couldn’t find my booking. I had to make another payment directly to the hotel. May I know who has pocketed my initial payment?
