The area felt very safe. The host was so kind and there was an aircon, this helped a lot with the heat. Not much, I really think they have little to improve on, stunning!

The bathrooms were excellent in our rooms. The WiFi signal was not strong enough, as well as internet speed was a bit slow (we're city dwellers usually and maybe spoilt with connection speed)

Chris (10/5): Best overnight stop travelling back from the Coast - Skietberg Lodge is our go to place when travelling back from the Cape. This is our 6th (or 7th) stay and have never been disappointed. Great rooms. Great location. Excellent staff. And every year, you can see how they have taken efforts to improve guest comfort. This year, we noticed brand new ceiling fans with LED lights in our rooms. A very welcome addition to the warm nights of Colesberg over December. (Don't worry, the Aircons are great too).

De Saldanha (10/5): Gem in Colesberg - We loved everything in these little units, from the little kitchenette to the large, well fitted bathroom. The simplicity of how it's all put together is unbelievable. Make no mistake, it may be simple but it is a gem. Honestly, nothing to dislike.

Liana (10/5): Luxurious stay over in the Karoo - The facility, host and quality was exceptional. We were received with friendliness after a long drive. The beds were very comfortable, the refrigerator was packed with ice and cold water, much appreciated in the summer and the bathroom was very clean and fitted with a nice big shower head that imitated rain. I will definitely visit it again in future. Excellent place and very good value for money. There was nothing to complain about.

Kruger (9/5): Overnight at Skietkloof - . Very pleasant stay. 2 things to note / address: we battled to get the aircon working properly, plus no mugs for coffee. And bonus would have been some good ground coffee with the plunger.
