Margaretha (9/5): Geweldig appartement - Geweldig appartement. Met een fijn bed en losse slaapkamer van woongedeelte. Heerlijk rustig geslapen. Het was groot en lag centraal. Helemaal ingericht met keuken en wasmachine Niet veel je moet het straatje omhoog wandelen Maar dat is overal in Portugal

The location is good !!In walkable distance from the center.Though the road in which the apartment is located,is in sharp incline and it was a little bit hard with luggage and having to go to the second floor by foot without elevator.

Alison (8/5): Nice, well equipped apartment- quite central but maybe not all that nice after dark. - Good, well equipped apartment with comfy beds and everything required. The area wasn’t all that nice, especially at night. Pretty handy for the centre of Lisbon but wasn’t too nice late on. Also, apartment was up quite a steep hill- fine for us but should be noted if you have any mobility challenges as wouldn’t be suitable.

Ottima posizione in un quartiere delizioso, silenzioso durante la notte ma vivace di giorno. Siamo stati molto bene. MR RICHARD J (8/5): Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely rent again especially because I am now familiar with the property - Spacious. Comfortable bed and furniture. Great amenities. Great patio and windows. Great AC and appliances. Everything we needed for a wonderful holiday Dead end road with steep incline leading to entrance made for difficult access with luggage. Road gets blocked by parked vehicles or drivers don’t want to have to back up all the way down the hill to leave. Would have been nice to have been warned of this. Host didn’t meet us due to flight delay and when we followed instructions to call from the airport no one answered until we arrived at the property. Not a long delay getting access but onsite help would have been appreciated
veetecheck (10/5): Příjemné ubytování v blízkosti historického Lisabonu - Umístění je výtečné - v rádiu 30 minut pěší chůzí máte většinu historického města. Apartmán nám splnil funkci příjemného místa pro odpočinek a načerpání sil mezi objevováním krás města a okolí. Perfektně vybaven a velice pohodlný. Jediná vada na kráse - ubytování se nachází na velice příkré ulici a vnitřní schodiště je rovněž prudké.

Maria Teresa (10/5): Apartamento excelente, pero calle imposible de subir y escaleras de acceso complicadas con maletas - El apartamento está muy bien acondicionado,tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable Al llegar nos encontramos que el acceso al apartamento era un segundo piso con unas escaleras muy estrechas y con las maletas nos fue muy difícil subir, al marchar bajemos las maletas vacías y la ropa a parte poco a poco y montemos las maletas en el rellano de la entrada, era la única manera que encontramos para bajar con seguridad

Esther (7/5): Nice apartement, poor communication. - Ich habe am Vortag auf eine Mail von Booking geantwortet und meine Ankunftszeit bekanntgegeben. Der Gastgeber hat weder darauf reagiert noch war jemand vor Ort, um den Schlüssel zu übergeben. Der Versuch einer Kontaktaufnahme über Booking und Telefon vor Ort war ebenfalls ergebnislos. Als ich den Gastgeber endlich per SMS erreicht habe, habe ich noch die Antwort erhalten, ich soll keine E-Mails schreiben. Erst nach mehrmaligem Hin und Her hat er mir den Türcode mitgeteilt.

Gjenis (6/5): - L'emplacement au niveau de la ville est top. Le quartier est très tranquille et bien desservi. Lisbonne est une magnifique ville. Cependant l'emplacement géographique du bâtiment est compliqué. L'immeuble est en haut d'une montée. Depuis la rue centrale, il faut monter monter et monter et cela est compliqué lorsque vous avez un bébé. De plus notre appartement se situait au deuxième étage sans ascenseur. L'appartement manque également de certains équipements (aspirateur, etc..).

gianluca (8/5): Good value for money - Good location and good and clean apartment Important to specify in the ad that there is an uphill road to reach the apartment which may be difficult for elderly people. If you are young there is no problem I think.

Erik (8/5): Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft voll und ganz für Menschen die nur wie wir da schlafen wollen und alles benötigen um zu ess - Es hatte alles was wir brauchen in einem Apartment. An die steilen Treppen mussten wir uns gewöhnen ansonsten was es super. Die Lage super zentral aber was man wissen muss es ist keine schöne Lage um in der unmittelbaren Nähe was zu erleben. Dreck, Obdachlose und viele andere Kulturen.

Oana (5/5): Not pleasant - Lis Apartments is not an option for a long stay. It works for a few nights for 2 people. The best part is that it is relatively close to the oldtown (30 minutes walk) and the neighborhood is quiet. We were 4 people, we booked the Standard One-Bedroom Apartment, on the ground floor. There is only one real room available. When you enter the apartment, there is a space (you can hardly call it a room) where an extensible couch is placed for 2 people. You can sit on it directly from the doorway, that’s how close it is from the entry. There is a musty smell all over the apartment. There is a lightwell that is considered to be an outdoor space for a table and a chair. It is extremely tight, split in two between two apartments and cannot be used for anything really, except maybe to dry some clothes faster. The code to the door was not changed after the previous tenant left. We had just arrived (for one hour), we decided to take a nap before taking a walk. The door opened all of a sudden, a girl came in and started screaming when she saw us. It was a group of friends that had previously stayed there, left their luggage in the apartment in the morning and returned for it in the afternoon. The luggage was no longer there but, seeing that nobody from the property answered the phone, they decided to enter to see if their luggage was still in the apartment. It wasn’t, but we were. As a side-note, the photos from Booking are way brighter than the reality is.

For people expect 20mins walk is fine We storage our luggage after check out , they said you need to pay 5 euro , which is the first time I hear putting luggage need to pay extra Layout not that good , but ok space for three person

We really enjoyed our stay Lisbon is hilly!! So no surprise the small street it is on is quite steep. The last 50 metres are hard on the legs

Philip (9/5): Lovely quiet apartment close to city sights - Host was flexible about our check-in time. Easy to find and get to. Personal welcome and check-in. Apartment was very spacious, clean, modern and well equipped, incl. dishwasher and washing machine, both with tablets! Quiet location, away from the tourist crowds. Good bed, shower, wifi, seating. Two supermarkets and traditional cafes within 10 minutes walk. Walk to many key sites in 15-20 minutes. Famous #28 tram starts just down the hill. Good access to metro and buses. Felt very at home and would definitely stay again. A very nice stay. Nothing major to report. Water was slow to drain in the shower but I've reported this to the host. While the area was quiet, we had noisy neighbours upstairs and their noise carried down, but it depends on who is there. It's on a hill, and the roads and footpaths are a bit rough in places, but it was not too bad. However, people with mobility issues might want to look into this. We did not drive, but drivers might want to check about parking. Parking out front could be tight, but I think there may be a larger parking lot up the hill and around the corner.

Anita (7/5): Comfortable, clean apartment but located at the top of a steep street. - There was easy and prompt communication with the hosts via WhatsApp and they met me and my friends when we arrived to provide the keys and additional information regarding check out. The description said that the apartment was on the 1st floor; however the 1st floor is one level up (not ground level), so we had to carry our heavy luggage up and down a set of stairs. Also the apartments are located on the top of a steep street so it isn't an easy walk up and back down to/from the apartment if you're heading out somewhere. Fortunately, the Uber or Bolt car was able to drop us off/pick us up right in front of the apartment

Qian (8/5): Good stay. - The apartment is well equipped. The host is a quite nice lady helped explained to us in details. Nothing. But the apartment is on street on a slope. If you take big luggage, it would take you big effort to climb. And we lived on the third floor of the apartment. there is no elevator.

Jenny (9/5): Very good location and very good apartment. - Apartment was very good. Location was very good. Stairs up to apartment, 2 flights, were narrow and difficult to get bags up and down. Contact with apartment owners was not always good.
Callum (9/5): Superb - Good location for walking around town but also good for public transport and getting further out. Place was clean, host was nice, and not much street noise even in the ground floor apartment (at least in the bedroom, which at the back away from the street). Arranged a time to pickup keys but host wasn't there, apparently I had to text them to tell them I'd arrived. Not a huge problem but I hadn't set roaming yet so was a bit annoying, and if I'd known all I had to do was text I'd have checked in earlier.
Helen (8/5): A bright, relaxing retreat in the heart of Lisboa. - The apartment was bright, fresh and very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and our host, Sandra was lovely - gave us lots of information and was very friendly.

Charlotte (8/5): A lovely apartment, not quite in the centre, not for people allergic to strong artificial smells - A nice spacious clean apartment with everything that we needed. Our stay was comfortable (minus the strong smell of an air freshener(?) which bothered one of us). The host was very kind. When we entered the apartment, we felt a strong artificial smell as if of an air freshener. One of us is allergic to such strong smells and ended up with a migraine. We spent a lot of time looking for the source of the smell, but could not quite identify it. We asked the host, but she did not know what we were talking about. There are too few electrical sockets, especially in the kitchenette. Don´t put your hopes up high about the "patio". You won´t want to use it when you see it ;-) It´s a super small claustrophobic "cage". The location is ok, a bit of a walk from the centre (1-1.5 kilometres), the last 800 metres through streets that were empty and dark at places. Walking there after dark gave us (women) a sense of insecurity. There´s a bus that goes there from the centre, but it´s like every 20 minutes in the evening, so when we missed it, we decided to walk. Fortunately, we did not have any bad experiences in that area, so maybe it was super safe and just looked kind of sketchy. The street itself is dark and steep uphill, but after reading some reviews I had expected something worse. The steep uphill part is not that long.

Laura (10/5): Almost felt like a local - This lovely apartment was only a few blocks away from the old town of Porto. Sandra was there to greet us and was so helpful providing nearby groceries options and tram and bus service to Belem Tower. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including coffee and tea, for our short stay. We really liked being on the narrow street. although down was easier than up, as it was relatively quiet but not far to walk to some local restaurants. Nothing, for us it was perfect.

Doris (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable, spacious with all mod cons and really useful to have washing machine and air conditioning. Location near supermarket and about 15-20 mins from city centre but it’s uphill. Apartment was at top of seriously steep street…no lift in the building either. Anyone with mobility issues would find access to the place difficult. Uber driver couldn’t get up the street. It would be useful if apartment has portable clothes airer.
