Michael (8/5): - Everything was fantastic until my wife found a fingernail in bed. Too bad because one simple mistake by a housekeeper like that really tainted an otherwise fantastic facility
Tak-Fai (6/5): - This is an old fashion ski lodge at the edge of city center. It's not bad but not great. The facilities are dated. Our room advertised as mountain view looks out to the wall of another building. Breakfast was parsimonious. Good news is that there is parking if you pay.

diane (10/5): - The staff was incredibly helpful during all aspects of the trip. The entire hotel is very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and we were able to have a drink every night from the bar and sit outside to watch the sun fade off of the glacier. My only suggestion to the hotel is to have fans available at the front desk if the guests would need them when the days are warmer, especially for rooms on the third floor. Otherwise, we would absolutely stay again.

mark (10/5): - Great location - easy walking access to stations and to the town center - just 5 minutes walk from great restaurants and bars. Booked two super nice rooms with plenty of space, balconies and a great view of the mountains. Very quiet - not a party hotel in any way. Simple but delicious included breakfast and great coffee. Highlight are the team members there - very helpful and kept the place running well after an unexpected (but delightful) 10 inches of snow dropped overnight.

The location is perfect for chamonix- buses for skiing and touring across the street and shops walking distance less than 5 minutes. We would definitely come to Auberge du Manoir again!

Anne (10/5): Perfect location! - The stay was excellent. The location was perfect to get to the ski bus to the different Domains in Chamonix. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The spa and sauna was amazing after skiing even if we had to pay to book an individual hour. It was worth it. My only complaint is that the door locking system to the rooms is very tricky and was not properly explained at check so the first night we had trouble getting into the room and no one was at the front desk. Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

The front desk staff was very friendly but they are not always present during the day. This can be problematic if your bag is in their storage room or you are in need of something.

Very close to anything you need really. The actual hotel is charming, amazing views. The room we were in was a bit basic, had a small smell and bit of mold in shower. Location 5* and staff werre super friendly. Nice outdoor area as well.

John (10/5): - Great boutique hotel. We were upgraded to the Junior Suite which was incredible. The front desk staff were very helpful and gave us great recommendations. Only downside was that the Jacuzzi was closed (shoulder season), but the front desk staff directed us to QC Therme just down the road. Slightly more expensive, but well worth the price. There is some road noise, but overall incredible views and stay.

Upon checking into the room there was an extreme odor from a faulty P Trap in the bathroom and it got stronger as we used the bathroom. We left the room within a couple of hours and gave the key back to the Reception. Expedia thinks we are entitled to a Refund but the manager Bastian refuses to give it to us. We wish this property did better business than they do but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like they have ethical management.

donna (10/5): - Cozy and welcoming- and the staff was magnificent! The rooms are nicely appointed and have a quaint chalet feel. I didn’t use any of the amenities as there is an additional charge but did take advantage of the on site parking for an additional fee…but felt it was worth the price due to the location of the hotel. Only criticism is that the radiators in the room generate very little heat and the room barely warms(we were there in winter). However, with the quilt on the bed and the wool blanket provided- I slept very comfortably …but this is what I prefer. If sleeping in a cold room isn’t your cup of tea, just be sure to wear warm pajamas and get the extra blanket!!

The staff has changed, but Gael at reception and Coco at the breakfast buffet were ever so pleasant and helpful. Easily walkable to anywhere in town, for shopping, dining, or just sightseeing. Highly recommended if you want to experience authentic French chalet-style accommodations at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed a nice view of the valley and had a little terrace to sit at in the evenings. The staff were kind and welcoming and had great recommendations on where to eat and how to spend our time.

John Joseph (10/5): Warm and welcoming! - A fantastic auberge in a great location. The service was excellent, especially the girl on reception who was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was ideal and had a lovely balcony with views of the mountains. The perfect place to stay when visiting Chamonix.
Lilly (10/5): 10/10 customer service - Auberge du manior was very clean, easy to find, and most importantly- full of kind staff. They did everything possible to help us feel comfortable throughout our stay, and are still actively helping us with a luggage shipping issue we had after completing the TMB. They have been understanding and communicating with us every step of the way and helping us feel reassured. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I hope to return to chamonix again someday so that I can make that a reality!

Clifton (6/5): - A cute property with very friendly staff. However, the location is adjacent to the noisy highway. In addition, we happened to stay when the hot water heater was not functioning. Staff did not forewarn us, though they apologized and twice assured us the repairman was on-site. We never experienced a warm shower here. I'm sorry to sound grumpy, but on a warm night, the only ventilation was a single small window. Perhaps the property is ideal during the ski season?

WErther (6/5): look elsewhere - We booked this room mainly because of the hot tub which they clearly promote as their best asset. Well on the first night they couldnt adjust the PH balance to a level that was safe. We waited for an hour for them to fix but they coudnt do so. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. Then the second night we come back after skiing all day and were very eager to use the tub. Well at that juncture we were informed that you need a reservation to use it. How this wasnt something that they would tell you during checkin is ridiculous. There were only 2 people that had the reservation so we asked if we can use it with them since there was only 2 of us but they wouldnt allow it. So stupid. The hot tub can easily fit 8
Derek (10/5): - Great central location and comfortable, clean accommodations. The best part was the staff. A very warm welcome, helped take our luggage upstairs, and then did a cleanliness check of the room while they were there. During our stay, they helped with information on ski rentals, bus service and restaurant recommendations. And after my wife hurt her knee skiing, one of the reception desk attendants (long brown hair, sadly we somehow didn’t get her name) looked up endless rental car and other options to help us rearrange our next leg of the trip. She also kindly volunteered to drive us to the train station with all our luggage during her lunch break. Can’t say enough about the kindness and caring of the staff. Will definitely stay again if we return to Chamonix!
Stella (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Really enjoyable stay - clean throughout and very lovely team on reception. We didn't eat at the hotel at all - went out for breakfast. We did use the hot tub and watched the sun go down around the alps! Two things for the hotel to look at - hair dryer isn't very powerful, and they need a spare key for the ski boot locker room (thye couldn't find it twice!).

Alexander (10/5): - The Auberge is in easy walking distance from the town centre. My room had a view towards Mont Blanc. The glacier was clearly visible. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Chamonix is an attractive Alpine town with many amenities. I stayed in September and visited La Mer de Glace and l' Aiguille du Midi. Both were sensational experiences.

Verified traveler (10/5): - The Auberge du Manoir is a small friendly hotel with lovely rooms, spectacular views of the mountains and a hot tub. Sitting in the hot tub in the garden looking at the late afternoon sun on Mont Blanc after a day's skiing was magical. We had a few difficulties with the WiFi, but the staff were very helpful and sorted them. They have everything you would need for an enjoyable stay in Chamonix - easy parking, ski room, comfortable bed and beautiful views.
Dan (10/5): - Gorgeous cosy family run hotel just off the main town. Greeted to two extremely warm and helpful young gentleman. Lovely room with balcony and fab view.. we went for a superior room. We literally cannot say anything but positives.. great value, great location, comfortable cosy and lovely staff!!!! 5 stars ⭐️
TIM (8/5): - I have to say that the service and help given by the front desk personnel (Andrew, Fanny and Theo) was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble - they were eager to help and extremely polite and friendly ! 10 out of 10 to all of them ! As far a s the property is concerned, rooms very comfortable, location perfect. As a form of mild critique, the property shows a hot tub but once there it can only be accessed by paying * Euros which is rather disappointing as it should be included as part of the hotel amenity. Also one should be aware that check in is limited until 8 p.m. in the evening so late arrival could be an issue. nonetheless, these are comments and I have to say that my wife and I had a very enjoyable stay and the whole experience is one of home from home with excellent staff as mentioned !
