- David Tsui (9/5): Beautiful rooms, great location and welcoming staff! - Beautiful suite; very friendly and helpful staff - especially Emanuela who was extremely helpful and kind! Like the daily cleaning of the room, the bathrobe and slippers. Not all B&B do this. Good wi-fi. Great location - quiet but a 10 minute walk to old town and many great restaurants. There is also a supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Great to get juice, water etc. There is a list of restaurant recommendations in the room. Tried a few and they were excellent! A very nice touch! The breakfast is ok but not great. I think the pastries are from the nearby supermarket. Get them from a nice bakery! Your guests can tell the quality! Eggs, ham etc are ok. This place will be perfect with a better breakfast.

Magisk frukost med mkt smått som varierades mellan dagarna. Verkligen trevlig personal. Hotell / Palermo. Läge i ett lugnt område invid den otroligt långa gågatans bättre butiker. Längre bort på gågatan mängder av restauranger & butiker. Längst ner tåg & busstation. Många bussar utgår därifrån under lågsäsong !!! Nära till havet och dess mysiga restauranger. Dagsutflykt m tåg till Cefalu. Strand liten gågata och vackert torg vid kyrkan. Känd för god glass. Med buss vackra Trapini - väl värt ett besök - finns även strand. Många busshållplatser avstängda under lågsäsong trots att de markerats på biljett. Bra info med tex kartor saknades vid hållplaterna. Var inte heller möjligt att få info från tex manuell biljettförsäljningung eller via Google. Rekommenderar busstationen.

We found the staffs here are all very friendly with big smiles and warm attitude. For the breakfast, it's simple but elegant at a relatively small area but the hotel arranges different shifts which is good.

- Christy (9/5): Mooi, verzorgd hotel met goede ligging en erg behulpzaam personeel ! - We konden 's ochtends bij aankomst niet meteen op de kamer (beschikbaar vanaf 15u), maar kregen meteen een stratenplan mee van de stad. Het hotel is gelegen in het 'nieuwe' gedeelte van Palermo, op 10-15 minuutjes stappen van het 'oude', meer historische gedeelte van de stad. Door deze ligging zit je meteen ook in het rustigere gedeelte van de stad, wat 's avonds wel aangenaam is. De kamers liggen op de 2de verdieping van het gebouw, bereikbaar met trap of lift. Je krijgt bij het inchecken sleutels van het gebouw en van je verdieping, zodat je steeds in en uit het gebouw kan, ook wanneer de receptie niet open is. Je kan aangeven wanneer je 's ochtends je ontbijt wenst, ze spreiden zo de gasten, dit doen ze om drukte aan het ontbijt te vermijden. Ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid, maar zeker voldoende, vers en lekker. Je moet ook niet bijbetalen voor bijv. andere koffie dan de 'standaard' koffie die geserveerd wordt. (bijv. capuccino, espresso, ...). De kamer was ruim, proper, ... alles was voorhanden (koffie, frisdrank en koekjes bij aankomst, handdoeken, badjassen en -slippers in de badkamer, ...). Je krijgt ook een lijst met tips voor lekkere restaurants in de buurt, heel handig. We hebben een paar daguitstapjes gemaakt, ook hier hebben ze geholpen met het zoeken naar openbaar vervoer, waardoor het voor ons niet een hele zoektocht werd. Heel erg vriendelijk personeel, niets is te veel. Zeker een aanrader, perfecte uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan de stad of uitstapjes naar andere stadjes of plaatsen (metro ligt op 10 minuutjes stappen en rit kost €2 naar het centraal station van Palermo, vanwaar je overal naartoe kan). Wij komen zeker nog eens terug met het hele gezin ! niets
- Verleyen B. (6/5): - Vriendelijke medewerkers. Mooi concept. Lekker ontbijt al was het wel een stuk beperkter dan andere hotels in Sicilië. Dichtbij het historisch centrum. Toen we terugkwamen van stadsbezoek zat er een kakkerlak op ons bed. Het was 22u s avonds dus niemand meer te bereiken. Niet echt rustig geslapen met de schrik dat er misschien nog zouden zitten. S morgens de situatie uitgelegd en men reageerde wel vriendelijk, maar het was niet alsof men ervan schrok of zo... Uiteindelijk hebben ze de toeristentaks laten vallen... niet dat we dit nu als compensatie wilden...

Wir haben 3 Zimmer gebucht - alle ausgezeichnet, die Putzmittel mit denen die Zimmer gereinigt werden riechen sehr stark, daher war es notwendig länger zu lüften (leider war es zu dieser Zeit auf Sizilien) sehr kalt. Eigentlich das einzig was zu bemängeln war - jedoch es waren 2 Zimmer davon betroffen.

- Natascha (10/5): Gemütlicher Aufenthalt im Herzen von Palermo - Das Hotel befindet sich in einem unscheinbaren Gebäude, ist aber an der Fassade angeschrieben und somit gut auffindbar. Die Reception und die allgemeinen Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gepflegt und mit traditionellen Bildern, Fotos und Dekorationen ausgestattet. Die Zimmer (2 Suiten) waren einzigartig und verschieden sowie mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet (wir hatten sowohl eine freistehende Badewanne wie auch eine wunderschöne Dusche, WC separat). Die Zimmer waren gross und geräumig mit kleinen Balkonen. Die Lage ist auch sehr zentral und in Gehdistanz von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie der Einkaufsstrasse. Das Frühstück wurde in zwei Blöcke serviert, da der Frühstücksraum etwas klein ausfällt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und die Auswahl der Speisen sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. keine Beanstandungen

Suite veramente bella, ben arredata, pulitissima e con qualche "chicca" (vasca da bagno in camera, doccia in vetro trasparente). Macchina del caffè, piccolo benvenuto offerto con dolci e acqua. Colazione super! E se non si ha voglia di tornare in centro la sera, pizzeria proprio all'angolo. Per chi arriva in auto, parcheggio convenzionato a 25 euro/gg. comodissimo. Forse servirebbe un posto in più per appoggiare il bagaglio

Les chambres sont magnifiquement décorées et très très propres, le personnel est adorable et le petit déjeuner splendide avec uniquement des produits frais et locaux. Il faut donner un horaire pour le petit déjeuner car la salle est petite (5 tables) sachant que l'hotel ne dispose que de 10 chambres (2 services : à 8h et 9h). - Tomoe (10/5): Family Affair was the right choice! - We are just back from our amazing trip to Palermo. We booked a room "Bordonaro" with a double bed and a big cozy sofa. It is located in a nice modern area near the Politeama and very convenient to go to the city center. The breakfast was really delicious with different types of sweets and freshly prepared coffee. The room is also very comfortably designed and you see they care all the details including amenities. We slept well on the good quality bed, which is uncommon in Italy. From the airport, you can reach the hotel by the airport shuttle (costing only 6 euros and takes 50 minutes - get out at the Politeama stop). We highly recommend to book a UBER directly from the hotel to Monreale (we paid 22 euro); this was one of the highlights of our Palermo trip. The breakfast room is small, so one of the 3 days, we had to wait 15 - 20 minutes outside (we highly recommend the hotel to consider about working on a solution for high season, for example: time booking in advance, or allow guests to take the breakfast to their rooms).

Se possibile da migliorare l’insonorizzazione della stanza: la mattina ci sono stati movimenti nel corridoio e in altre stanze e sembrava fossero in camera nostra da come si sentivano in modo chiaro.

- Céline (8/5): Chambre très confortable dans un quartier élégant de Palerme - Hôtel extrêmement bien situé, dans un quartier élégant tout proche du centre ville, avec de nombreux bars et restaurants à proximité. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais ne comportent pas de coin cuisine. Le décor est original, avec une grande baignoire dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux. Le prix est assez élevé et très variable selon la date à laquelle la réservation est faite. La décoration de la chambre et du salon est plus ou moins réussie.

Tal vez necesitan más empleados porque hay una joven que se encarga de todo sola. Me gusto que le dejarán una carta a mi pareja por su cumple junto a una botella pequeña de prosecco, gracias por le detalle! Considero que para el precio pagado, deberían ofrecer como mínimo agua mineral sin ningún costo (solo se nos ofreció agua del mini bar donde encontrábas latas a 2,50 cada una). También cogí una suite y 4 meses con antelación pedí tener esa precisamente. No se me avisó de que no era posible y tampoco se me propuso una solución. Por último, el agua salía siempre caliente y de repente fría además que el chorro de la ducha necesita ser arreglado.

Chic and warm rooms. - Politeness and service provided by the receptionist was great - we checked in early with lots of luggage and she helped us store them while we checked in later. Also loved the warm and strong showers - it was a nice change after traveling around Sicily, where electricity and hot water can be a bit unstable... Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but the BnB had partnered with a private parking provider nearby the BnB. It costs EUR25 per day.
