• Brad (8/5): - Very welcoming and friendly hosts at a cute B&B with great views of Lake Lugano. We stayed in the penthouse, which was incredibly spatious and well equiped. Included breaksfast was also a nice perk! The room was a bit cold and we didnt find the thermostat until the next morning. Also the elevator is a great bonus but the door opens up right into the penthouse on the top floor, and we couldnt lock the elevator door. There were no issues, but it's a bit strange that anyone can potentially take the elevator to your room even with the actual door locked. Would also be nice if there were some dish towels provided for the kitchen. Overall, not big issues.

• Paulina (10/5): - Świetne miejsce, niesamowity włoski klimat. Hotel nie wygląda jak z katalogu Ikea, znajdziesz tu iście włoskie wnętrze. Piękne, stylowe meble. Pokoje czyste. Widok z okna wprost na jezioro jest zachwycający. Przepyszne spaghetti w restauracji znajdującej się na dole. Wieczór spędzony w niezwykłej atmosferze z lampką lokalnego wina w towarzystwie obsługi i tamtejszych mieszkańców. Zostaliśmy serdecznie przyjęci przez właścicieli, dzieci dostały domowe ciasteczka i mnóstwo atencji.

• Michl (9/5): Tolles kleines Hotel direkt am See - Wir hatten das Penthouse und das war richtig groß und schöne eingerichtet. Lage 30m vom See und Blick auf den See vom Zimmer. Mein Sohn hatte ein Zimmer nach hinten in den Hof, das war jetzt nicht so berauschend. Abends hatten wir dort auch gegessen war vorzüglich geschmeckt hat. Das WLAN auf den Zimmern ging leider nicht nur unten in der Bar. Wäre schön gewesen wenn es noch Rührei oder Omlett zum Frühstück gegeben hätte .. aber sonst war es OK.

Der Ankunft war für uns sehr stressig.Wir sind gegen 14.30 angekommen und wollten uns einchecken lassen so wie es im Internet stand ab 14 Uhr. Da war aber zu und wir haben Unterkunft angerufen. Die Dame, die am Telefon war,war ganz freundlich und hat gemeint, das wir rein dürfen, da dort unbedingt ein Mitarbeiter sein sollte. Eine Freundin von uns hat versucht über ein anderer Eingang rein zu kommen, da dort offen war. Dann kam ein älteren Mann raus und hat uns sehr laut angeschrien, dass wir zu früh angekommen sind , da er erst ab 17 Uhr aufmacht und ihm scheißegal ist, was da im Internet steht und wir dürften gar nicht rein über Nebeneingang 🙈 Wir hatten 7 stundige Fahrt von uns, danach noch 10 km Lauf in Lugano und erlich zu sagen kein Bock gehabt mit ihm noch zu streiten. Für mich als Ersterfahrung, nie mehr Italien Kleinstadt.

• Minna (9/5): Yllättävän kiinnostavassa kylässä hyvä paikka yöpyä - Hinta-laatusuhde kohdallaan. Pieni hotelli viehättävässä Valsoldan kylässä, jossa ihan lähellä hotellia oli järven rannalla uimalaituri ja jopa uima-allas kyläläisille. Kirkko mäen päällä - kirkonkellot soittivat jonkin laulun melodiaa, mikä jäi mieleen. Hotellin lähellä kapeita kujia ja kauniita taloja, kaikkineen siisti ja viihtyisä paikka. Perustason majoitus hotellissa kolmen hengen huoneessa toimi meille oikein hyvin yhdeksi yöksi, vuoteetkin OK. Reilusti parkkitilaa autoille. Herkullinen aamiainen pöytään tarjoiltuna, Huoneen äänieristys ei ollut kovin hyvä. Naapurihuoneessa oli kuitenkin rauhalliset asukkaat, joten mitään harmia tästä ei meille ollut. Hyvin herkkäunista tämä saattaa ehkä haitata.

Wir haben uns mit einem Anruf vergewissert, ob wir tatsächlich ausgebucht wurden und die Antwort lautete, dass man unsere Buchung tatsächlich nicht finden könne und uns leider keine Alternative anbieten könne, da man ausgebucht sei. Daraufhin haben wir für unsere Hinreise eine andere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit gesucht. Trotzdem wurde uns der Zimmerpreis in Rechnung gestellt!

• Fabio (6/5): - The location and cleanliness of the hotel were very good. Being so close to the lake and having a parking lot was convenient. We stayed with our dog. On the first morning, when I took him outside, he urinated on the gravel parking area in front of the hotel. At that moment, a hotel staff member saw this and shouted at me in an extremely rude and loud tone, saying things like ‘He can’t pee there, clean it immediately,’ giving me orders. She told me I had to clean it right away and fetch a bucket to do so. I was honestly shocked by this behavior. For a hotel that accepts pets, such an attitude is simply unacceptable. A dog’s owner cannot control exactly when or where the dog relieves itself. Of course, if such an accident happened inside the building, one would naturally take responsibility and clean it up. However, it was a park area fully covered with gravel, and being yelled at — almost scolded — in such a tone is unacceptable.It was very unpleasant to have our holiday overshadowed by the approach of such an inconsiderate staff member

• Gudrun (10/5): - Großes sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Luganer See, sehr familiär und gemütlich, ganz in der Nähe öffentlicher Strand, den wir auch sehr genossen haben. Das Frühstück ist am Tisch serviert, aber wirklich mehr als ausreichend, gute Croissants und Weckerln, dazu Rohschinken, Käse, Marmelade und Jogurt, abends hätte man auch gut essen können, auch viele Nachbarn aus dem Ort schauen offensichtlich gerne vorbei. Kommen gerne wieder. Abends und morgens spielten die Glocken der Kirche übrigens eine schöne Melodie, in der Nacht sind sie ruhig... Der Wirt und die Wirtin sorgen für ein gemütliches Ambiente... Grazie mille! Die Einrichtung ist nicht top modern, aber sehr gemütlich!

Assenza bidet anche se segnalato nella prenotazione, probabilmente non tutte le camere ne sono provviste per questioni di spazio. Prezzo forse condizionato dalla vicinanza con la frontiera, un po' alto, ma comunque più conveniente della media della zona.

San mamete is a lovely small village we know well with a close knit local community. It was the ideal spot for our overnight stay. We timed our trip perfectly as there was an orchestral concert in the piazza, beautiful music with a great atmosphere.Lovely family run B & B, we were made to feel welcome & are already planning a return visit.
