- Penelope (1/5): Disappointing - Location The fact I paid for a female only dorm, I had a male housekeeper come into my room unannounced, didn’t knock. I complained to the hostel and they did not care about me feeling uncomfortable. I was in the bed unwell and the man touched my leg from above the covers by mistake (on top bunk). I paid extra for safety with women and still ended up having a man in my room making me feel uncomfortable. Don’t recommend

- Mair (6/5): - Die Lage ist super. Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer Blick aufs Meer und waren sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Das Hostel hat auf jeden Fall viel Charme. Die Küche und die Gemeinschaftsbäder sind leider nicht so sauber, dass man sich dort wohl fühlt. Das liegt aber hauptsächlich an den anderen Reisenden, die die Räume entsprechend hinterlassen haben.

Cheap expiditions can be booked over their website and Pickup spot is nearby. I was so lucky to see the aurora on my last night there Thank you for the room upgrade. Don't know if it is a City or hostel accountability, the area infront of the hostel was icy slippery. Saw some people fall. Maybe a free food box for the fridges would also bei helpful.

The bus stop is only 5 minutes away, the BSI terminal is about a 15-minute walk, and the Bónus supermarket is just around the corner. -I stayed in a private room, which was very comfortable, spacious, and cosy. -Plenty of toilets, clean, and equipped with hair dryers. -The staff were amazing, welcoming, and very helpful. -I was able to leave my luggage at reception for 6 hours after check-out, which gave me the freedom to walk around the city centre and make the most of my time there. -The toilets often did not have hand soap and/or paper towels

Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale og god frokost. Renholdet var veldig forskjellig fra 3. og 4. etasje. Mye bedre renhold i 3.etasje. Veldig varmt på 48-manns rommet. Vanskelig å få vasket klær da det bare er 2 vaskemaskiner som alltid er opptatt. Ble frastjålet frokostmat i kjøleskapet men personalet var hyggelige og ga meg frokost som kompensasjon - noe de absolutt ikke behøvde!

- Natalia (7/5): - Lokalizacja i ciekawe części wspólne, doskonały widok z okna, cena. Hostel przypomina bardziej akademik z lat 90. Całe wyposażenie bardzo stare, z jednej strony tworzy klimat, z drugiej wszystko się trochę klei. Nie dla każdego. Jest bardzo tanio, co trochę to tłumaczy. Kuchnia na piętrze brudna, mała lodówka na tyle osób, łazienki pachnące mocno wilgocią.

- David (10/5): If I come to Reykjavík I’ll stay here again - The Kex Hostel is located in heart of the downtown area. It's a very nice place to stay at not only for backpackers. The facilities are sufficient they got lockers in the dorm rooms where you're supposed to use your own padlock that I find to be the best option how to store your stuff. The staff keeps the place very tidy. I've stayed at lots of hostels all around the world but the approach to all customers was extremely unprecedented especially from K the girl working at the front desk. She apparently does her best to keep a good reputation of the place also always willing to help with everything even beyond her job duties. This everything made me stay such a longer time than I had planned.

- Matthieu (3/5): Une boîte de nuit bruyante - La déco vintage est très sympa, même si parfois ça frôle le sale C’est plus un club qu’un hôtel: ce soir la, il y avait une soirée au bar, prévue de durer jusqu’à 1h. J’étais au 3eme sur rue (à éviter car c’est très bruyant). Les basses de la musique faisaient vibrer mon lit. Jusqu’à 1h mais on les entendait encore jusqu’à 5h. Bref pas vraiment dormi. L’accueil est juste poli.

- Ashley (10/5): A night stay at a very unique hostel which was close to all of the popular attractions in the city. - This hostel was very cool and unique. It had lots of common rooms with views of the mountains. The bar was nice and easy to get a drink. This hostel is close to the popular attractions in the city which made it very easy to see all that we could. We were able to drop off our bags before check in which was the best! Nothing.

- Marzhan (10/5): - Удобное место расположения от достопримечательностей, автобусная остановка для флайбас в 5 минутах хотьбы и экскурсионный трансфер может подьехать к хостелу. Завтрак можете купить там же и неплохо. Чисто, есть фен и несколько душевых и туалетов.

- Brianne (8/5): Great location to stay in at Reykjavik! We enjoyed our stay 😊 - Great location and beautiful view of the water. Kitchen was quite small for a hostel and wasn’t very clean. Bathrooms were cleaned during peak morning times making it difficult to have a shower before checkout.

- Saskia (7/5): Gezellig, perfecte locatie afgezien van het parkeerprobleem. - De perfecte ligging, de sfeer, aankleding en gezamenlijke ruimtes. De prima bedden en goede douche. Personeel was weinig behulpzaam en niet heel vriendelijk.

- Presley (8/5): Cosy, chill night with nice music and a good atmosphere - I liked the overall vibe and look of the hostel. Quite a lot of amenities to allow you to do things such as cook your own food, relax and pretty much just chill out if you want. There wasn’t much a social vibe. This might be due to me arriving during off-season where there’s not much going on.
