- Jeremy (10/5): Love stay in a lovely guest house will definitely come back again. - Hosts we're a lovely couple, very friendly and enthusiast about their guest house.
Room was quirky but in a good way that we liked and it was clean and well presented.
Breakfast was very good and substantial.
- Gillian (10/5): An excellent stay - Wonderful It was perfect
- Cathy (9/5): Creston Villa is a gem of a guest house! - Creston Villa is a gem of a guest house! We had a great experience in this stunning Victorian house decorated with antique furniture and items collected over the years. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Anna and Iain who are so charming and friendly! We had chosen the Victorian room and felt like we were back in time. It fully corresponds to the photos. The continental breakfast is excellent with among others home-made delicious chutney, jam and oat cookies. We highly recommend Creston Villa Guest House!
- Sacha (10/5): - I had a wonderful experience at Creston Villa. The property is beautifully maintained with exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. Hosts Iain and Anna were friendly, polite, and eager to help. The location was also perfect, making commuting incredibly easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!

- Steven (10/5): More than just a B&B - allow time to explore! - A unique b&b with exceptional charm. Our hosts were so engaging & interesting. Their generosity was sublime & we genuinely felt extremely welcome. Our bedroom was themed ”Victorian” and was fascinating, as was the breakfast room. Breakfast was termed ”Continental” and kept us going all day! Plus the delicious freebies forced on as we left - WOW! Thank you Anna & Iain.

- Rosemary (10/5): Wonderful stay, great hosts. - The whole place was spotless. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Also the place was very convenient for the concert we were attending only a couple of hundred yards away so this was an added bonus Didn,t like the fact there was no parking at the accommodation. However, we managed to get street parking but this made the streets surrounding the property very narrow.
- Michael (9/5): - Very friendly and attentive, but,
not overbearing hosts Nothing
- Alan (10/5): -
- FRANCOIS (9/5): - Gentillesse des hôtes, accueil , excellent petit déjeuner
- judith (10/5): Perfect - Excellent.
- Mike (10/5): -
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - This B&B is so warm and welcoming. You feel comfortable from the minute you step through the door thanks to Iain and Anna the owners. The cleanliness was first class, the beds were comfy, the room had so many extra decorative details to enhance the theme and the breakfast was delicious - a continental breakfast with some home made products too. It's a shame there is no parking on site but there were spaces in the side roads nearby so it wasn't an issue.
- Paul (10/5): A perfect stay in Lincoln - I throughly enjoyed my stay at Creston Villa. My hosts could not have been more welcoming and friendly.
My room was a wonderful combination of comfort, convenience, charm and style. There was everything I could possible need. The interior of the house itself is a visual delight.
Breakfast was excellent. More than ample with a wide selection of tasty options.
I look forward to returning the next time I visit Lincoln. There wasn't anything I didn't like.
- Jo (10/5): - Everything about my stay was lovely. There is so much to look at! The bed was both grand and comfortable, and there was lots of space. Lots of personal touches everywhere, tasty breakfast, friendly hosts, well situated. Would visit again in a hearts beat.
- Mr and Mrs Riondino (9/5): British old fashioned B&B with great owners - Owners were very friendly
Bed was very comfortable
Lots of extra items provided in the room
British old fashioned family
B&B
Breakfast was provided with care in a small bag when I had to leave for work b4 7.30am. Parking was free on the road behind the B&B but very busy.
- Katrine (10/5): - I had the most wonderful stay here - such a magical and cosy place to unwind. The room was beautifully presented, incredibly comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need.
The hosts truly go above and beyond to make your stay special, which makes all the difference. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would absolutely love to return! Nothing!
- stephen (9/5): Loved it hosts were superb. - Excellent hosts lovely breakfast great location for exploring Lincoln. Brilliant real ale pub The Tiny Tavern 5 minute walk away very quirky great beers. On street parking was difficult as Lincoln football club had home match and streets were full. Was very lucky to get slot in walking distance. Could prove problematic for anyone who struggles to walk easily.
- Julia (10/5): A gem of a place! - Everything you could imagine has been considered to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
I had the best night’s sleep in a long time, and appreciated all the little extras such as fresh milk and snacks. The healthy breakfast was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the morning chats with Iaine and Anna Ideally, I’d like onsite parking; but appreciate this isn’t always possible in a city centre location. Parking was still nearby, and good not to have to pay for an expensive carpark.
- Valerie (10/5): 100% recommended - It was the best guest house I have ever stayed in What a gem find. So much attention to detail The breakfast was very enjoyable and the hosts excellent. I cant find a single negative thing to say.
- MARINA (10/5): Exceeded my expectations - From start to finish, my stay at Creston Villa Guest House was absolutely wonderful. My train schedule on arrival day was unpredictable, but Iain couldn’t have been more accommodating—he reassured me it was no trouble and was kindly waiting to welcome me when I arrived.
I happened to stay on the guest house’s 20th anniversary, which made the experience even more special. The house itself is charming, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. My room felt straight out of Bridgerton—elegant, cosy, and thoughtfully designed.
Breakfast was a highlight: a hearty continental spread enjoyed alongside lovely conversation with Iain and Anna. Their warmth and genuine hospitality shine through in everything they do. Hearing the story of how they built a successful family business together left me feeling inspired, and I even took away some tips of my own!
Creston Villa is built with love, with easy access to Lincoln city centre, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat from city life. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Lincoln!

An excellent guest house. Difficult to write anything here. There is no direct parking onsite but that is made absolutely clear when you book, and prior to arrival, and free parking is available on side streets very close by - so it's not really a problem.

- SIMON (9/5): Friendly and welcoming - Iain and Anne were extremely friendly and served a delicious breakfast, with lovely chutneys, jams and marmalades a particular highlight. Decor was quirky and original, parking easy, communication good. A 10 am checkout on a Sunday morning was a bit earlier than would have been preferred.
- Mel (10/5): - Great location, easy walk into the centre. Very nice room. Run by a lovely couple who both made us feel very welcome.
- Adrian (9/5): Good value, cosy stay on the edge of Lincoln - Comfortable bed, good sleep quality in interesting Victorian-themed room with pedestal basin and good quality toiletries Separate bathroom. Pleasant continental breakfast. Complimentary hot drinks and biscuits round the clock. Welcoming hosts. Nice decor and garden space. Parking on side street free. Park opposite. Shower was a bit small for me to get into. 1.3 mile walk into central Lincoln was okay as it was dry but would not be pleasant in the rain.
- Rosemary (9/5): -
- Gianluca (9/5): Bel soggiorno a Lincoln - Camera accogliente e pulita, ottima prima colazione servita dai gentilissimi proprietari Anna e Lain. Possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente nella strada alle spalle della struttura.

The hosts are simply incredible too, treat you like a VIP and I loved getting to know them. I was really looked after, they even went out and got energy drinks for me. I am awkward with my diet and health problems and nothing was too much bother. Breakfast is delicious, with homemade jams and chutney. Clear to see why they have won so many awards. Having to leave but I will be back, when I have chance.

- Lorraine (10/5): Highly recommended!! - I was attending a weekend event in Lincoln and needed overnight accommodation so I chose Creston Villa based on the reviews. I arrived later in the evening than planned but Iain was there to give me a warm welcome and explain the guest facilities. I was blown away by the stunning character of the house and my bedroom and the attention to detail to ensure I had everything I needed for my short stay. My room was clean and beautifully presented, the bed very comfortable, free wifi , tv, kettle, electric shower and so many little extras to make you feel like a valued guest. I couldn't take advantage of breakfast as I had a very early checkout but Anna provided me with a bag of breakfast goodies to take with me. Such thoughtful touches throughout including homemade cakes and cookies-free to guests-an honesty bar if you wanted a drink in the evening- and a very generous and delicious continental breakfast including yoghurt, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, loads of toast etc. They were the perfect hosts and could not have been more welcoming. They also let us check in at a time that was good for us. Location was perfect, a 30 minute walk up to the Cathedral and Castle which we were there to see. In the evening we walked back to the Villa along the river. Could not have asked for more or better and will definitely stay here again when we return to explore Lincoln further. Nothing not to like!
