• V (10/5): A wonderful find, beats the chain hotels hands down! - The rooms were really spacious, cosy and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, I had a great night's sleep and I am normally a poor sleeper when I am away from home! The room and en-suite was very clean. I like that every detail was taken care of including a good selection of hot drinks that you could make, the iron, a mirror for doing your make-up, lots of feminine touches and a good desk space to work from. I particularly loved the location, it was quiet and off the beaten track and a short drive into Solihull where they had a great selection of restaurants in the evening. The breakfast was excellent, lots of food to fuel up before a busy day at the NEC. We will definitely be back if we are attending a show or exhibiting again. Nothing!

• Helen (10/5): Fantastic birthday break - Everything about our stay was perfect. Location and grounds were beautiful, room was huge with three double beds and a large bathroom with a bath. Our room had a fridge, hairdryer, iron and 3 large fans. Tea and coffee were well stocked, bottled water and squash sachets were also provided. Our hostess was extremely welcoming and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was sublime( made even more personal by the birthday banner added to our table). I totally recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back. Nothing

Victoria, the owner, was very accommodating, the bedroom and bed were really good and very comfortable, the amenities were just right including a tea pot and biscuits. • kara (10/5): Perfect place to stay with a lovely host. - I would highly recommend the Barncroft luxury bed and breakfast. We were greeted by the host who was really lovely and friendly. She showed us to our room which exceeded our expectations, and had more than expected for a B & B. The tea and coffee facilities were excellent, even having fresh milk in the fridge rather than the small long life pods. The menu for breakfast was superb with so much choice, alongside a whole range of cereals and pastries, jams and fresh juice. If I travel back to Birmingham I would definitely book here again. I have to state, this was the best B & B I have stayed in.

Welcome tray with tea(s), coffee, hot choc, biscuits, squash, bottled water. These small things that make the difference included fresh milk in the fridge. Perfectly quiet pre airport/NEC stay. The host, Victoria was very kind and makes time to speak to her guests and ensures that everything is OK for them. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Also the buffet was excellent with fresh fruit, cereals, and yoghurts. No criticism - I would love to stay again. Can even fit in a smaller room :).

The rooms and bathrooms are very well decorated, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is in the room. • Jerzy (10/5): Exceptional - The entire hotel was very clean, no nasty smells, and a great breakfast. Nice decor in the room and outside, plushy carpets and no cheap furniture. Real marble tiles in the bathroom which was also super clean. Garden perfectly maintained, I spent a lot of time just staring at the trees, the grass and the fountain. You can tell the owner really cares about the place!

• Mike (10/5): - What a diamond of accommodation this was. Wonderful directions provided ahead of arrival to find the property easily enough. Ample parking provided close to the entrance. Warmly greeted by Vicky who runs it with her husband, Mark. Shown to my room which I was very impressed with. For extra space as a solo traveller, I booked the family room for only £90. Their were 3 double beds with 2 in an adjoining room that you could partition with a curtain. The bathroom was decorated to a high standard with a very soothing shower at the end of a long day. I was given a suggestion for a nearby walk which worked out great and a local Greene King pub was only 10 minutes walk away and provided a great meal with wonderful service. I had a great night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was cooked to perfection. All in all, there was nothing I could find fault with hence my 5 star rating. Would love to stay there again.

The owner went out of her way to be friendly and runs a fantastic luxury B&B. The cooked breakfast was lovely and the additional self service choice on offer was excellent. Nothing.

Welcoming and delightful when you see the property on entry along the driveway. Parking accessible. The host was very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The host had knowledge of local area. Room was spacious, decor was wonderful and nicely laid out. Refreshments including squash sachets and biscuits were welcomed. The room also had first aid kit and other additional items that may be helpful during your stay. I had my own patio seating which looked on to the front of the property where there was a water fountain and could hear birdsong, joyous company over a cuppa. The breakfast room provided a plethora of breakfast items, I was spoilt for choice. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. I had everything I needed. Breakfast was wonderful. All together it exceeded my expectations and was great value for money! There was nothing I didn't like.
