Check in was easy, dining and kitchen facilities are very good with some nice touches to make the stay more welcoming. was allowed to do some washing and they provided detergent etc which is super nice. Room had some issues with the chairs but replaced immediately, some aspects of the room are needing updating. My room had shared bathroom, so that can be tricky to get in when you need and water not as hot if you are last in. Overall a very good stay, centrally located, was on foot so couldn't tell you about parking.

Room had everything that we needed and further supplies hot drinks available down stairs in breakfast room. Good range of cereal, yog, pastries hot drinks toast etc.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok - Flott lokasjon, alt var enkelt lagt opp og ordnet man selv med enkel frokost mat- mugg på brødet så tok det andre . Trenger oppgradering på gulvteppene ( mye flekker) og når man satte seg på do smalt det vegg/gulv. Dusj må oppgraderes møkkete og gule flater/gummilister . Døren inn til badet kunne ikke lukkes helt igjen så det var glippe . For dyrt ikke verdt prisen. Hyggelig at mannen til eier hjalp med å sette bagasjen i skuret så vi slapp å ha den med oss . Skulle fått info ang trapper til 3 etg da vi hadde mye og tung bagasje- jeg er syk og nedsatt funksjonsevne.
- Steven (10/5): Great stay nice and comfortable. - Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor.

Perhaps the only downside was our inconsiderate neighbours using the shared bathroom next to our room very noisily at all hours of the night and very early morning. Stonehaven is a wonderful hidden little gem and the nearby Dunnottar Castle was spectacular!

- Benjamin (2/5): - The moment I entered the property, I could see a dire need of vacuuming near the entrance. The first floor was quaint and fairly pretty and after a brief confusion about checking in, I realized that there was a brown packet with my name on it and the keys within it. I expected the bathroom to be attached to the room, but it wasn’t and I had to step out to another room for my bathroom. Not the end of the world, I lived in dorms in university, but it was a surprise nonetheless. The most very unpleasant part was the room itself. The moment I stepped in, I could feel my nose tickling, sure sign that the carpet was triggering my allergies. Room was at first glance clean, but there were some small stains on the carpet, thick cowebs in a corner of the rooms and some dead insects in the drawers of the bedside table. I found 1 live spiders in the room and 2 dead one. I put my keys back on the table downstair and left for Aberdeen soon after. I preferred to pay for 2 hotels for the same night than stay there.

- H (4/5): Geluidsoverlast - Zeer gehorig, je hoort iedereen praten, snurken enz. Tijdens ons verblijf was er erg veel herrie van zatte mensen de hele nacht die aan het afteren waren op een van de kamers. Waardoor de hond van de kamer naast ons de hele nacht aansloeg. Verder niemand gezien van de B&B zelf. Lokatie was verder prima, badkamer was schoon.

- Grant (10/5): Great Value for Money - Great stay in a location close to the Market Square. Room was clean and well presented. Nice touch to have a photo of Dunnottar Castle covering one wall, reminded me of my childhood and walking around the top of the cliffs to get there.

- colin (8/5): - The property is in a central location for shops, transport such as the bus and for walkable access to Stonehaven's harbour and beach. Only issue was that I was in a ground floor room next to the back garden which guests who smoke would use and the resultant cigarette smoke got into my room (in the early morning and late evening) as my room window was open. It was also my experience that some guests who used the back garden space in the late evening were a bit noisy too.

- Verified traveler (10/5): WOW - My first impression of the room was Wow. The room was very clean. Would be better as a room with a double bed, rather than a twin, but very comfortable beds.
- Graham (10/5): Stonehaven - Very much enjoyed our stay, plenty of facilities and the place was clean and comfortable. Perfect for visiting Stonehaven, as in the centre of the town, close to everything.

They even provided toiletries and I really liked the fact that they managed to avoid the single use individual portions - much more environmentally friendly. Breakfast was self serve with a generous selection of pastries, yoghurt, cereal and fruit.
- Grant Harper (8/5): Would have been a 10/10 - Lovely big room, spotless, comfortable and clean. Access to microwave, fridge and cooker along with utensils and crockery at all times. Rating would have been a 10/10 if there was a whole meal bread option, also cheese and a meat. Very friendly and helpful service from Anna and Jarek. Good central location. Highly recommended.
- Monty (8/5): Basic, but adequate and well-priced. - It fulfilled my needs and is ideally located for easy access to the town centre. The only issues I had were that I had to repair the tv aerial cable myself to get decent tv signal and the next morning when I went to have breakfast, the milk in the fridge was sour, so I couldn't have coffee or cereal.

- David (10/5): Highly recommended - We met the owner on arrival, who was friendly cheerful and helpful. The room was spotless clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a great night's sleep in the king-size bed. The ensuite shower was clean and gave a good hot shower. Breakfast was self service in an excellently equipped dining room, with a continental style breakfast with plenty to chose from. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return in the near future.
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely B and B and very comfortable! - A mix of B and B and self catering. Had a kitchen for you to cook own meals during the stay and access to facilities all day. Breakfast was a selection of cereal, toast, and various snacks and yoghurts. Simple check in, key is in a key pad outside and you’re email code to access. There is a contact number however if you have any issues access it. Very clean rooms and incredibly comfortable bed. I met the owners one day and they were very friendly and welcoming. Although an electric shower, even on the hottest setting it was almost tepid, which was uncomfortable. But that was the only thing that I would say was a negative. Overall I had a lovely stay there and would recommend.

Town by it self just breathe taking, especially coast line. Place is less then 10min from waterfront, place to eat just 5min away. Overall wonderful place to stay

- Ruth (6/5): Private Bathroom ?? - Attention to detail in respect of cleanliness was not evident in this hotel. Whilst the bed, the toilet and shower and communal areas were clean in general our room wasn't that fresh or up to standard. There were coffee splashes up the wall, dirty radiator, marks on the wall, generally just a lack of attention to detail. The room said private bathroom which I thought meant whilst it wasn't on-suite the bathroom across the hall would be for our own use but all the rooms on the landing were using the same toilet which was a bit awkward. That being said the location was great, the contact/ owners were super helpful, the communal areas were lovely and the breakfast was adequate. Tea and coffee in the room together with biscuits and sweets which was a nice touch. For the price we paid it was good value i just expected it to be cleaner.
