Guest Reviews
- liz (2/5): No room available, total waste of time. - Got to the hotel to be told that there was not a room reserved for me. Apparantly the owner had stopped using Hotel.com in September, so was not expecting me. I could not be relocated as it was Lincoln Christmas Market, and all hotels were full. I therefore had to do the return journey all the way home, so wasted 4 hours and half a tank of petrol. Was told I would get a total refund to my mastercard, but then received a credit note instead.
- E (10/5): Lincoln Trip - Great value, excellent food, very helpful and pleasant staff. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Access during the day not an issue due to pub being open through the day as well as the evening. Handy location for access into Lincoln by train or car and surrounding area, good location for dining out, although pub also offers good value for money, especially steak night on Fridays.
Village has several shops so handy if you need to purchase any forgotten items.
Would stay again.
- margaret (6/5): pub room - room in a pub, friendly landlord
- Verified traveler (2/5): Last minute cancellation qithwith no explanation - Booked for parents as it was near to where I am moving to. Stressful enough weekend moving only to be told TWO hours before checking in the hotel was cancelling the booking, leaving my parents distressed and panicking that they would have no where to stay. There was no explanation or apology for the chaos and distress caused.
- michael (2/5): I had no room - I booked a one night stay it on arrival was told the place was overbooked and I had no room.
The bloke was really apoloogetic and rang round to try and find me somewhere else.
But the few hotels that there are in this rural area were booked and I ended up sleeping in the back of my van.
Not good at all
