Guest Reviews

- catherine (10/5): The owner does everything ! He is a nice person really fantastic - Clean authentic Nothing
- Andrew (9/5): Lovely rural setting, comfortable, clean and welcoming. Lovely dinner and breakfast! Would recommend ++ - Lovely rural property… Google took us the wrong way but Booking. Com found it! Lovely room, comfortable and everything we needed. Lovely dinner and breakfast. Friendly host 😁 All good!
- Donna (10/5): best place we stayed on the Camino . - Everything was perfect. Comfortable rooms . Delicious dinner and a peaceful garden to enjoy a drink after the Camino i loved everything. Arnaud was so helpful and picked us up from nearby town
- Suzanne (9/5): Good place to stay - very friendly and helpful - Nice room - good dinner and breakfast. Location good for us - doing the Camino on bikes. We were able to charge them overnight. Nothing

No usamos tal servicio.

- Paola (10/5): - Una bellissima casa! Accogliente e avvolta nel silenzio!
Il titolare Arnau super disponibile.
È anche un ottimo cuoco.
Certamente consiglio questa bella casa. Nulla

- Joan (9/5): Beautiful house in a beautiful village - Beautiful house in a tiny village with great landscapes, really well decorated with a lot of museum style details.
The food was great and Arnau, the owner, helped us a lot It’s a bit far from the Camino, but they pick you up from Arzua amd return you next day, so it’s even better than staying in the town
- Felix (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (8/5): - A nice and unusual hotel out in the fields. A little expensive for what it was, and rather basic. But very comfortable nonetheless.
- Ana (6/5): Our stay in casa Assumpta - Our stay was ok. We arrived late after the check in time and the owner waited patiently for us. The room and bathroom was clean. The only dissapointment was at the end when we payed 30€ for a very simple breakfast for the three of us (basic coffee with plain toast - no butter nor jam) and a glass of juice from the pack).
- Richard (8/5): Very good - The dinner was superb. The whole venue is peaceful and wonderful Being charged for boiling water to make a cup of tea
- Deirdre (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful garden setting. Quaint decor. Comfortable rooms. Lovely host - nothing was too much trouble for him.
- De (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teichmann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diva (9/5): Superb - What a lovely place, and our host went out of his way to help us. The house is 5km out of Arzua, but he shuttles everybody without any extra charge.
The food was so good. Best Spanish toast ever!!
- Jenny (10/5): Lovely scenic rural location with professional & friendly host - Ideal setting out of town with the convenient option for collection by the host from town.
Lovely family run business, great set menu,& superb host.
- David (8/5): Alberque was jammed, top bunk only (6’3”). Immediately found this place on-line. Great Luck 🍀! - Breakfast and all was Above average. Clean & friendly vibe. Loved It !
- Lisa (9/5): It was a memorable experience - The breakfast was delicious! Especially the Casa Assumpta’s speciality toast and the fresh squeezed orange juice. The host made our stay a memorable experience.
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional - Arnold's cooking, the breakfast was delicious, and owner was most helpful, such a lovely stay.
- jean-bernard (10/5): super agreable - tres bon accueil par le proprietaire tres sympa. il est venu me chercher et m as ramene sur le chemin. tres bon repas aussi.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Pedro was an absolutely amazing host. He greeted us at reception with a warm welcome. The home and surrounding area was beautiful. The room was so cute and adorable. The whole complex was so nice, warm wood and stone walls. It was quaint. The dinner was delicious as was breakfast! I can only highly recommend this place!
- Lester (9/5): A very pleasant stay at a country inn. - A beautiful country inn about 5 km from the Camino. It’s in a small, lovely village. Lovely countrified room and common areas full of tradition and character. The owner is very friendly, who also prepares dinner and breakfast and takes his cooking very seriously. We didn’t have dinner, but we had a small, simple delicious breakfast. Believe it or not, we had never had toast that tasted as good as his. He said it was a secret recipe. For people on the Camino, the location is not the most convenient. But it’s such a beautiful place. If you have a car or are willing to take a taxi from Arzua, it’s worth staying at. The restaurant price seems high to me, but the owner really does seem to be a good cook. We felt that 8 bucks each for a pretty small breakfast was a little steep. But what we had was delicious, so perhaps it was worth it. We’d definitely be happy to stay there again.
