Lovely staff, a delicious breakfast with a choice of dishes... An excellent location for visiting Scone, the Stone of Destiny at the museum, or the letters of Mary, Queen of Scots. You can leave a car and go to the centrum in 15''. A good base for exploring Cairns National Park, St Andrews and Arbroath... . Close to the airport and major Pictish sites such as the museum in Maigle. And what really charmed me... The breakfast napkins are made of fabric, just like in a good restaurant. Good value for bed and breakfast. The room was warm on a chilly day, so everything was great. I recommend!

We were just a bit cold on our last evening but that's a very small issue. Over all we enjoyed our stay in a very friendly, clean place.

Hosts are friendly but not overbearing and are very accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. Off street parking is a real benefit. If you need to use your car, it can be busy trying to get over the bridges to head South, depending on time of day.

I was a sole travel - It was cosy with good sized rooms in a lovely traditional B&B. Good on suite facilities. The breakfast was tasty and high standard with good quality toast not usual white processed. Great host. The bed was very comfortable. The toilet took more flushes than normal to work but this is minor issue.

- Gillian (10/5): - My single en suite room was spacious, clean, and attractive, with a wardrobe, desk, and plenty of room for storing my things. The hosts were friendly and cooked a delicious hot breakfast each day, with several menu choices. It was nice to chat with other guests over breakfast in the bright, attractive dining room. There was also a nice common sitting room with comfortable furniture, tea, and snacks. The house is located on a busy road, but there is ample parking for several guests out front. My room was at the side, and the traffic quieted at night, so it wasn't a bother as far as sleeping. The guest house is a half mile walk to town with one grocery store and two take-out places (pizza and Chinese/Scottish fish) along the way. If you're heading somewhere close to the south bridge, you can walk along the riverfront path, which is nice. The two taxi services I used to get to and from the bus / train were punctual and friendly; that's an easy option if you don't want to walk or have heavy luggage. All in all, this was a friendly, clean, and attractive place and a good value for the solo traveler.
