• Anita (9/5): Mooi, schoon hotel op goede locatie met vriendelijke eigenaar. - Het ligt op een mooie locatie en was heel schoon. De eigenaar was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. We waren de enige gasten en de eigenaar heeft ons daardoor veel kunnen vertellen en adviseren over wegafsluitingen door de sneeuw en alternatieve excursies. Niks. Alles was goed.

The view was beautiful and we were able to walk out our door and see the northern lights. Highly recommend!!!
• Daniel (9/5): Beautiful, clean and modern - EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN! Beautifully renovated room. Very nice view back to the Harbour/town (5 minute drive). Breakfast buffet was nicely presented. Although beautifully renovated, the soundproofing seemed lacking. Both nights we were there, we had inconsiderate guests next to us on one side (same side, different guest each night). The first night the gentleman screamed and yelled a lot, slammed doors, and his wife cried. By 11pm they stopped, but started again after breakfast before checking out. The following night, same room, the new guests also slammed their doors and proceed to talk loudly outside our window for quite some time. The room on the other side was quiet as could be both nights. Other than inconsiderate guests, great place

• Elizabeth (7/5): Lovely location. Clean but no frills. - This hotel is in a lovely location. It’s on a mountain side overlooking the town, mountains and water. It was nice to sit in chairs outside our room although when we went to do so, the couple next to us went in. The best part of this place besides the view was the shower. Hot and powerful. Wonderful after a long day of traveling. It’s a very simple basic place to stay. No frills. No towel warmer in the bathroom. There wasn’t anyone at the desk when we initially arrived despite ringing the bell. We waited in the car for about 20 minutes and then were able to check in. They do offer breakfast but we had to leave before it was ready.

• Manfred (10/5): Alles passt, modern und ruhig. - Die Lage etwas außerhalb der Stadt ist wegen der tollen Aussicht und der angenehmen Ruhe ideal, wenn man mit Auto unterwegs ist. Alles neu und sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und eingerichtet. Frühstück war qualitativ prima und liebevoll zubereitet. Nichts!

Die Ausstattung der geräumigen Zimmer ist neu und perfekt, die Betten schlafen sich wunderbar. Der Inhaber kümmert sich selbst um die liebevolle Präsentation und Nachfüllung der guten Frühstückszutaten. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

• Ralph (9/5): Stunning views in a quiet location near town - The room was very spacious and nicely laid out. Two indoor and two outdoor chairs to sit and take in the sweeping views of the river, bay and mountains. Check in was pretty easy, they handled a few small requests promptly, and we enjoyed the simple but filling breakfast. Bathroom was oddly small given the spacious main room. And while we get that everything is expensive in Iceland, the price here was maybe a titch high? None of that would stop us from staying here again!
