- Jonathan (10/5): An absolute gem of a find, tip top communications from the owner prior to our stay - Very clean, quiet, yet central location for High Street. Room was spotless and Towels, bedding were all fresh. Such a quaint place to stay Nothing
- Simon (10/5): -
- hilson (9/5): Pleasurable overall - Seclusion, snacks left,tv Noise from above, slamming doors
- Norma (9/5): - Very central, warm and clean Not suited for disabled. We managed but for a full-time wheelchair user it wouldn't suit as there are stairs to all bedrooms.

- Idred (10/5): - Staff communicated well online.I didn't see staff there .The place was clean and convenient as the shops were not far. I don't like street parking but my car was safe in the morning.
- Rogan (10/5): -
- Christa (9/5): - Location was excellent. Very comfortable - couldn't beat the value for money Unfortunately the sink in the bathroom was blocked and took a long time to drain away
- Lewis (8/5): - Rooms are great- spacious and comfy Parking during the day requires planning
- Caroline (8/5): Because it is room only I think it could do with a little fridge. -
- Shaun (10/5): -
- Brian (8/5): Decent value, clean & good location - Booked a Family Room with Shower, which stayed 2 double beds (via Booking.com). Room had a king size and a single. I contacted the operators, but was told that the king/single was what the family room is. Looks like the Booking.com description is wrong. Fortunately we were able to adapt.
On arrival, the key for our room was not in the lockbox. Called the operator and was told to use another room, as the previous occupants must not have returned the key. A bit odd that the cleaner could not check if keys are
returned. The property is unmanned, so any issues any you need to call the operators.
The room we ended up with was clean, spacious and reasonably equipped. Towels are a bit small, but clean. The toiletries are limited to a hand wash and a very small
shampoo each. Sufficient for short hair.
Conveniently positioned near the Main Street, yet quiet enough. Parking was on street and free and we were able to get a space right outside the property.
No onsite breakfast facilities, but a nice little basket with some biscuits, crisps, a water and a small In Bru. Tea and coffee in the room too. There is a lovely tea shop 'Love Scotland' over the street served a good breakfast if you need something.
Overall, a good value and convenient stay. If I need to stay over in Hawick again, I would be happy to return to Teviotside
- Niall (2/5): -

- David (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Excellent place to stay. - The shower was excellent.
The goodies were lovely.
Very modern.
- William (8/5): It was a comfortable stay for the two nights I was there - There was no milk with the tea/coffee making. There was no suitable electric socket to plug in the kettle as the lead was so short.
- Alfredo (9/5): - Quiet and good location near the centre of town, clean and comfortable room, good acoustic insulation. Although there is no hotel parking, it is easy to park nearby. My room was located in the basement, so it was a bit damp. Anyway not a major issue.
- Stuart (10/5): -
- Graeme (8/5): very satisfied -
- Robert (7/5): Very good value - The location was very good and the property was very clean The room lighting - some lights didn't operate off the main switch
- Mike (10/5): Nice and quiet and spotlessly clean - Town centre location but easy parking and no noise Nothing
- Ross (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): A much needed peaceful retreat. - So peaceful, despite a very central location. As well as having my own room, I was able to enjoy an evening in the property’s living room, with a cup of tea and a book. Nothing
- Judith (9/5): Great location - Location was idea, everything within walking distance. Suitable accommodation for our needs One small consideration would be the addition of a small mirror in the single room to save having to pester friends in bigger room when using a hairdryer
- Shaun (10/5): - Lovely place to stay. Very clean and tidy Only one small shower gel, not the end of the world tho
- IURII (10/5): -

- Globetrotter (9/5): Hawick a must destination in Scotland . !!!! Teviotside Inn was a great choice ❤️ - Everything BUT The shower The Bed , The heating and The Wifi were more than perfect Room number 6
- Sandra (9/5): Very good, would stay here again - Nice and warm, clean, plenty of tea coffee and milk sachets, and nibbles thrown in a bonus. Nice and quiet. Hair drier good quality. Mattresses were very soft could feel the springs, door to the shower was a bit tight to the sink.
- David (8/5): -
- Christian (10/5): - Clean warm central location. All good.
- Ann (7/5): Suited needs for visiting family - Ideally situated close to family Low sound proofing
- Linda (7/5): -

- Trevor (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): An enjoyable stay. Pleasurable to return to each evening after seeing family in Jedburgh - Excellent location to buses and town centre. Once inside, very quiet, private and secluded. Well heated with great ensuite shower.
Nice complimentary welcome items relating to Scottish food and drink.
Communal lounge to use if required A small fridge would have been great, rather than none.
- Janette (9/5): Very nice clean and central - Very clean Not a lot of equipment in kitchen and had to wash dishes in bathroom sink
- pat (8/5): Great place - Central location Didnt like plug in air freshners
- Karen (9/5): What a hidden gem! - What a little gem Teviotside is! From the welcome pack of goodies to the care and attention of soft furnishings, I was so impressed. The owner was only a text message away and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely book again. I found no faults at all.
- Craig (10/5): - Lovely building and accomodation. Take the single bed out..
- Christian (10/5): - Clean warm easy access to amenities.
- Wendy (10/5): Family time away - Great instructions on how and when apartments would be available . Rooms spacious, clean and as described. Everything as it was described, so nothing to dislike
- Jacqueline (8/5): - Location is minutes from the shops and restaurants. Wetherspoons (The Bourtree) was a 5 minute walk away for breakfast. Where we went every day.
I noticed some people had commented on the beds but we found them fine but they were updating them while we were there.
We were in room 4 which is in the basement. Lovely basket of food and drinks. Kettle for making coffee and tea.
Will be back. Stairs to basement only real issue as creak alot but other than that great place to stay.
- Mark (9/5): Great place to stay in good location and nice touch of goodies to eat and drink in room. - Good location. Comfy bed. Easy parking. Plug in air fresheners, only 1 pillow.
- Derek (8/5): Good value and loved the free iron Bru and biscuits - Location Clean
- ANN (9/5): - Family room with 2 bedrooms was great No sink to wash cups
- Shirley (10/5): -
- Caron (10/5): Great Weekend - Comfortable beds.perfect location.close parking facility's.absolutly clean facility's.would defiently stay there again.emergency numbers in room set out by management in case of any issues they will respond and act asap.the booking system really easy kept in contact all the way with myself till arrival.collecting keys was a key safe box.number given to you day before There was.nt anything i did.nt like everything was great
- fiona (8/5): Short break in Hawick - A wee mix-up on arrival, but it was quickly sorted.
We were given details on local eateries and local taxis, which was incredibly helpful.
The building had a small, separate sitting area for guests. So you didn't need to stay in your room the whole time.
Room had everything that we needed for a short break. I am not particularly a fan of the plug-in room fragrances. I am asthmatic, and these can often be a trigger. I just switched them off and opened the windows!
- Clarke (8/5): Would deffo stay again - It was clean and big The shower couldn’t get working and no one to ask
- Slaney (10/5): Well desdribed and in a central location - Well presented and very clean. Good quality bedding and towels. Bathroom needs some work. Was a musky smell - suggest a carpet cleaner.
- Anna (10/5): - Very clean, perfect location, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Rita (8/5): - Room was lovely and clean and bathroom was spotless. Shower was lovely and powerful. Side towels and toiletries left out and basket of treats in the room was a nice touch. Nothing…all was good!
- Trevor (10/5): -
- Godfrey (10/5): - It was very cosy
Met the cleaner was very polite I thought it was lovely
My partner was kept awake by upstairs
Sounded like they were moving things and banging
- Anthony (8/5): -
- Jacoby (8/5): - Location, price, bathroom, goodies by the bed The bed was a bit narrow for me. Might be OK for someone with a BMI less than 37 though
- Frances (3/5): Disappointing - Location Carpet was filthy and not cleaned. Cigarette butts beside bed from previous guest.
- Crossroad (8/5): -
- linda (7/5): Loved it all good value however small beds would prevent return stay - Location cleanliness extras Very small beds
- Andrzej (10/5): -
- Andrzej (10/5): - Great place, quite cosy room prefect for my needs.Easy acces and plenty parking space.
No problems with contact.
- Graham (8/5): Family night out in Hawick - Central and good parking options - perfect to explore hawick Cancellation policy - 2 weeks notice - so watch for that.
- FTG VIC (8/5): Treviot Motor Inn HAWICK SCOTLAND - The room was reasonably good space for two travellers with 2 x big suitcases and 2 x hand luggage There was no mention of stairs in the booking and the bathroom was very small. The shower was very small as was the basin. There was no host at the property and when we booked i thought we were booking a motor Inn as like a motel. There were too many perfume pumps in the room which set off allergies and was wondering if they were hiding some smell in the room.
- Ladyshambles14 (10/5): - Location was brilliant Would of be great if there was more plates cutlery and some where to wash up or a microwave, or communal kitchen would make this place perfect for families
- helen (8/5): Clean. Great location. Great price. - Clean. Basic but with all facilities needed. Great location. Great information package provided. Hosts are readily available if needed and they provide great information also. Really close to everything in Hawick and the price was amazing. Maybe the creaking boards could be sorted out. Workmen staying at property not quiet in middle of night. Also maybe have something on the front door to make it close more quietly (for same reason as before). There were only blinds on the main window to the street so at night with light on people can see outline of person in room. Also no window covering on bathroom despite being patterned, again when light is on you can be seen through it.
- Gino (8/5): -
- James (9/5): -
- Roy (9/5): Really good location. Good value for money. Clean, comfortable and - Great location. Property was clean, warm and comfortable. Could have done with a bedside table lamp. The mattress was a little soft for me. But overall nothing to dislike.
- Marshall (8/5): -
- philip (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- George (8/5): Very nice for a stay in Hawick - Location could not be better right in town hotel and room was very clean and comfortable Nothing really
- Donna (7/5): Only here for 2 nights, and found a lovely dog walk. Plenty places to see and dog friendly - The shower was lovely Told owner I would arrive between 4 - 5pm, and once entering the room, I noticed it hadn’t been cleaned from the last guest. I contacted the owner, and within half an hour, it had all been rectified, with a small refund.
- James (8/5): -
- Frank (2/5): Not pleasant. - I arrived after a12 hour air and bus journey to destination at 10pm. Opened the key box. No keys. No accommodation. Paid for 2 and 3 Sept. Phoned friend and they gave bed for the night. Next day did finally get access to room 5 only to find it had been used and not prepared for next guest. Finally got new accommodation about 2pm on 3 Sept. New accommodation was good. I should get refund for 2 Sept.
- Jessie (8/5): - Really helpful owners and staff, clean, very comfortable, quiet, cute and quirky. Would have preferred to have a sink in the kitchenette area for washing up and kettle filling.
- Kayleigh (10/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): A comfortable and good value family suite in Hawick - the family suite in this guest house was very nice and clean and conveniently located. Good value for money communications - I had to phone to ask some questions in advance as no reply via messaging or email. Small things about the place could be easily improved to make it an excellent rating , especially for 4 people staying as we were- I have messaged the owner about these so I hope they are taken on board
