• Matthew (10/5): Extraordinarily Novel - This was our best sleep of the entire vacation! Very comfortable beds. Lovely rooms packed to the brim with vibrant and ornate medieval-style paintings. The craftsmanship of the head/footboards, stairs to the bathroom, and breezeway were lovely, too. The castle is lovely, we highly enjoyed exploring it. The air is so incredibly crisp and clean. The view was astonishing! The Google map took us up one route that was incredibly difficult for an SUV, but the road out to Mel where we ate supper was much easier. I wish we had been given notice to take that route to the castle.

• Ivan (8/5): Una notte al Castello di Zumelle con cena e intrattenimento temetico é stata davvero interessante e gradevole. - Il castello ha un certo fascino e la vista dalla torre é spettacolare. Sarebbero necessari alcuni interventi di manutenzione che sicuramente aiuterebbero a rendere più piacevole la visita e la permanenza dei visitatori.

• Andrea (7/5): - Personale gentile e simpatico, vista mozzafiato e la struttura è molto bella e ben organizzata, purtroppo molto fuori mano e difficile da raggiungere con mezzi, solo con taxi, non abbiamo potuto cenare dato che il ristorante era chiuso ed essendo isolata non si può fare niente al riguardo, l'esperienza è molto suggestiva e soddisfacente le stanze sono grandi e comode ed il personale eccellente. I collegamenti molto carenti, souvenir da ripensare e non esattamente in linea con l'atmosfera, ila guida "automatizzata" é sicuramente comoda ma un po' spersonalizzante

• Irene (6/5): Esperienza carina, ma sconsigliata a Natale - Camera molto particolare e confortevole. Colazione non eccessiva, ma con scelte sia dolci che salate. Sala del ristorante/colazione molto bella e particolare. Staff molto simpatico e gentile. Tranne camera e ristorante, il resto del castello è poco curato. Sconsigliato nel periodo natalizio: allestimenti natalizi molto brutti e fuori contesto rovinano tutta l'ambientazione.

• Danilo (10/5): Fantastico tuffo nel passato - La atmosfera medioevale, la visita, le camere anche esse "alla vecchia" è come un tuffo nel passato. La strada per arrivare, come già lo aspettavo, richiedi cautela e guida attenta.

In camera poteva bastare riscaldamento più basso perché faceva molto caldo. - La location e la sistemazione delle camere in stile medievale. Un po’ dispiaciuto per la colazione, speravo più ricca e per la cena che non c’era il menù medievale, uno dei motivi per cui ero venuto lì.

• guido (9/5): - Castello vero in posizione incredibile con poche confortevoli camere. Bel panorama e interessanti le aree circostanti, con possibilità di passeggiate nella natura. Ottima colazione servita nella taverna del castello. Un po' difficoltoso l' accesso con l' automobile, ma fa parte del fascino del luogo.

• Dana (10/5): Wonderful experience, would come again, it might be useful for travelers to find out if the dinner service is available - It was a very unique property. To be certain it is a medieval castle, so when does need to be prepared for walking uphill and uneven Services, difficult cellular coverage. That being said, it was a pleasure to step back in time and actually stay at a museum! The displays and explanations were amazing. The only negative from my perspective was that the dinner service was only available for one night out of my stay. This made things a little bit challenging, as I did not feel comfortable driving at night. The roads up to the castle are winding enough in the day, and at night were a bit stressful to drive. That being said, there was a refrigerator in my room and I was able to purchase things in towns nearby to have wonderful meals on my own in the room.
• Simone (10/5): Tutto stupendo! :) - Tutto stupendo! Accoglienza ottima. Camera stupenda. Anche la cena (non inclusa nel prezzo) è stata un'esperienza magnifica. Consigliatissimo! Non è proprio immediatamente raggiungibile, a livello di strada. Ma comunque super fattibile. Inoltre, unica scomodità della camera, era il riscaldamento non regolabile. O acceso o spento. Questo ci ha fatto svegliare un paio di volte la notte per poter aggiustare la temperatura. Ma giustamente sei in un castello ed è già tanto che ci sia il riscaldamento. Comunque notte e tutto top!

Quirky and fun experience with the rooms being within the exhibits of a museum of medieval life. Staff were super helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay. Recommended!

• Igor (10/5): Se capitate in zona andateci a dormire o mangiare! - Location molto bella, hanno ricostruito un ambiente medioevale abbastanza fedelmente. È molto bello dormire e mangiare in un castello!

Complimenti a tutto il personale per la cortesia e la disponibilità. La stanza oltre che pulita era bella e suggestiva, sembrava veramente di vivere in un altro tempo. Abbiamo inoltre trovato in quel giorno un evento con gli artisti di strada che si esibivano tra le piazze e le stanze del castello Niente da segnalare.
• Fabry_Ts_Italy (10/5): Un magico viaggio nel medioevo - Il castello è un piccolo gioiello che permette un viaggio nel tempo e consente agli ospiti d'immergersi nel medioevo. La struttura è perfettamente mantenuta e conserva all'interno diversi spazi espositivi e museali. L'ala riservata alle stanze è stata rimodernata e le camere, in perfetto stile medioevale, sono dotate di bagni moderni e ben rifiniti. La colazione, tutto sommato buona, viene servita nella suggestiva locanda sita ai piedi del castello. Ottimo il ristorante per la cena e/o i pranzi. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di poter assistere durante la nostra permanenza a degli spettacoli dove artisti di strada animavano gli spazi del castello, rendendo ancora più magico il soggiorno e "stregando" la nostra bambina. Nulla.

• Kjetil (10/5): Exceptional - Spectacular location and the rooms are in the castle itself. Breakfeast is in the neighbouring restaurant and was good in a nicely decorated second floor. There is a walk parting from the parking that goes to some beautiful river pools (a bit crowded, but if you take advantage of sleeping at the castle and go early it should be ok). Some weeks after booking the non refundable room we we got a message from the hotel informing us that on one of the nights there was going to be a wedding at that access to the castle would be limited that day. Turned out sleeping was also impossible until midnight.

• Omer (8/5): Recommended! - Amazing experience sleeping within the castle. Very unique property. The tavern next to it is also beautiful and with good food. The breakfast was good but not too much, quite simple. And the area is amazing. There are springs close by which are beautiful and recommended, if we had more time here we would find more for sure. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. No AC in the room. We can in August and it was warm.

• James (10/5): Exceptional - The value of this place is great. It's such a unique experience to stay in this castle and the room I stayed in was surprisingly comfortable. Great experience if you have young kids especially. The restaurant isn't an amazing value but it's got some unique items that are fun to try. The breakfast is not amazing but it's not bad. Just be careful when you park your car not to accidentally pay a fee that's meant for people with campers staying the night in the parking lot. The staff luckily helped me avoid this when the parking attendant requested this.

• Anonymous (7/5): Good - Lack of friendliness and hospitality from the manager. He didn't make a point of trying to solve our problem: making a small breakfast half an hour earlier. The hotel has 3 rooms, we were occupying 2, the other was empty and he still didn't care and was still rude to us.
• Flavia (10/5): Wonderful experience to stay at the Castle. - We ate some medieval food from their restaurant and the food was amazing every night. We had a great picnic in the garden and a lovely walk around the castle.
• Wesley (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great place to spend the night. Really loved the old design of the rooms, while you still have everything you need, fully equipped modern bathroom and a good bed, it gets a bit squeaky when you have neighbors but hey, its an old castle so it should be. The restaurant is amazing, it has a normal selection and medieval selection for diner. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice and the staff of the hotel and restaurant were all really friendly.
