Tijana (1/5): Extremely inconvenient, hidden charges after check out. - I have to start by saying the property really looks nice, but when you are on holiday that is not the only thing that matters. I’ve been using Booking.com for over 10 years, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such behavior from owners. Instead of making guests comfortable, they did everything possible to charge extra. As a frequent traveler, this was by far the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. They demanded a €200 deposit into a private account and ignored my request for a proper payment link. Instead, they sent someone in person to collect the money at check-in — and only then did I discover there was a hidden €50 fee for this “service.” The documentation required before check-in was endless and completely unreasonable — paperwork that should be handled by hosts, not dumped on guests. For check-out, we asked if leaving a little later was possible. A woman who appeared to work for the property said it was fine. Only afterwards did we learn she was housekeeping, and of course, another €50 was charged for “late check-out.” When I complained, the owner actually wrote: “YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY WE EVEN LET YOU IN OUR PLACE.” This is beyond unprofessional — it is insulting. Everything was prepaid, yet I was treated with arrogance, hit with hidden charges, and made to feel unwelcome from start to finish. This property should be avoided at all costs.
Dénise (10/5): Eine ruhige großzügige und gut ausgestattete Erdgeschoss-Ferienwohnung - Wir waren mit unserer 80-jährigen Mutter zum König der Löwen und haben uns für eine Ferienwohnung entschieden, da wir hier mehr Zeit miteinander verbringen konnten als in einem Hotel. Wir sind aus dem Ruhrgebiet angereist, daher war auch wichtig, das Auto gut abgestellt zu bekommen. Mutter konnte sich mit Rollator super in der Wohnung bewegen. Nach Hamburg zu den Landungsbrücken sind wir problemlos mit der Fähre ab Finkenwerder gekommen, und auch nach dem Musical war die Fähre noch im Einsatz und es hat optimal geklappt. Wir haben zwei Nächte mit drei Erwachsenen hier mit verbracht. Eine saubere, voll ausgestattete großzügige Erdgeschosswohnung, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt, in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Autostellplatz vorhanden. Der Edeka mit Bäcker ist direkt um die Ecke. Großes Badezimmer, man duscht in der Wanne, die aber eine schöne tiefe Einstiegshöhe hat. Die Küche bietet viel Arbeitsfläche. Alle Maschinen, die man benötigt, sind vorhanden, neben Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher sogar ein Eierkocher. Gewürze, Folie, Spülmaschine inkl. Tabs alles war vorhanden. Zudem eine schöne überdachte Terrasse mit Sonnenliege, Tisch und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Und noch eine zusätzliche Möglichkeit seitlich am Wohnzimmer auch draußen an einem kleinen Tisch zu verweilen. Die Betten sind recht hart, was uns aber gut gefallen hat. Auch die Höhe der Betten ist super. Nettes Gimmik, dass man in Badezimmer und Küche per Wandbedienung ein Radio einschalten kann. Die Abwicklung im Vorfeld, die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern und auch die Kautionsrückzahlung haben super geklappt. Alles in allem hatten wir weitaus weniger erwartet und waren positiv überrascht. Wir würden die Wohnung nochmal buchen und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt hier. Meckern auf hohem Niveau: Wir wurden vom Wetter verwöhnt und konnten oft draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen. Zu Dritt haben wir natürlich auch viel gequatscht und gelacht. Dabei saßen wir den Erdgeschoss-Nachbarn von gegenüber doch sehr auf dem Präsentierteller, durch ihre bodentiefen Fenster und deren eigene Terrassennutzung. Vielleicht wäre hier eine Sichtschutzbepflanzung oder so für beide Seiten angenehmer? Wir haben uns aber nicht unwohl gefühlt :)
