- Mary (10/5): 100% will be back when i travel to kyoto again!! - the futons and tatami were so comfortable! ac in each room worked perfectly. the showers and bathrooms on each floor were cleaned well every day. very quiet area and right near the inari shrine!! the neighborhood was also not too busy, and was just outside the streets bustling with tourist attractions. all of the staff were very kind and happy to help with some laundry issues we had! we recommend going on the nighttime tour of the shrine, our guide was kind and we had a great time practicing speaking english and japanese together. everything was great!
- Suzanne (8/5): Goede accommodatie - De ligging. Airconditioning en wasmachine. Comfortabele matrassen.

- Vincenza (10/5): - Tutto pulito e i futon super comodi. Top.
- Martin (9/5): -
- Anja (7/5): - Hotel is very close to the station and center which makes it a good starting point for visiting Kyoto. Beds are uncomfortable. Common areas are not cleaned well. Room was okay
- Dianne (8/5): - Very close to Fushimi Inari and the train station. It was a decent stay, nothing great but got the job done for a decent price considering Kyoto is so expensive and it was a spring weekend
- Thiago (10/5): -
- Davide (8/5): - Nice place!
- Brina (10/5): - Very close to the Inari shrine, which made the early morning visit super easy. Lovely kind staff, and fantastic amenities!
- Aaron (7/5): - The location The laundry services, dryer does not work very well, take 90 minutes and 300 yen yet my small loads of clothes still damp, plus the placement of the dryer and washer not every convenient
- Zak (10/5): - Very close to Fushimi Inari, which is the point of the staying here!

- Ming-hwei (10/5): Great stay. Would consider next time. - Good location and good price. The room is bigger than I expected. Great for 2 people to stay. It is very convinent to store the luggage and check in later. A bit hard to bring heavy luggage upstair. A bit pricy compare to similar hostel in the other area for 1 person.
- Claudio (10/5): - The place was immaculate, staff extremely friendly. And the location is perfect, close to 2 train stations.
- Tara (10/5): Amazing simple stay. - Amazing quiet stay with lots of space in the room, near fushi inari shrine. Plenty of little restaurants nearby. Easy enough to get anywhere from the train. I stayed 5 days and then booked 5 more and enjoyed being a bit out of the way. Walk in one direction towards the shrine and tourist central, but 5 minutes in other directions there are local diners and places.
Everything was very clean and much felt very new. In the winter the common areas can get a bit drafty. Stairs, if you aren’t expecting them.
- Kevin (10/5): Excellent place - Nice space. Good location. Clean
- luciana (10/5): Confortable - Tenia cocina propia, muy limpio y muy bien ubicado

- Rishi (8/5): Great hostel on the SE outskirts of Kyoto, close to temples and good train lines. - Good amenities, good nearby train lines, tatami was nice, lobby was great. Only problem was the hall light would shine into the room, so we made a makeshift shade to solve the problem.
- Nate (9/5): Cool Hostel - Great space, areas for socialising, cooking, and hanging out. Showers were nice and hot, room was comfortable. Most things were walkable, be sure to walk along the river when you stay! A proper double bed (instead of two futons) would've been nicer but I'm nitpicking.
- Felix (9/5): Clean, comfortable and easy - Instructions were clear, room was clean and comfortable. Owners make an effort to organise optional activities. The hostel is very close to Fushimi Inari so the are is busy with tourists but transport connections are very good

- Alexander (10/5): Great value for money - Great location close to Fushimi Inari shrine, supermarket, bar and restaurant. We travel a lot as a family and usually avoid hostels, but this one was an exception. Very clean and well equipped shared spaces, a kitchen and dining space we could use for breakfast and dinner. Lots of fun things in the lobby to entertain a child. Staff and guests were polite and respectful. We loved it! We liked everything
- YungChuan (8/5): -
- Del Ray (8/5): Good place to stay. - Staff were great. You can also store your luggage before check in and after check out. Location was close to two train stations and Fushimi Inari shrine. There were also good restaurants to choose from in the area and convenience stores close by. Facilities were clean and there were games and activities in the common areas. Overall this was a great place to stay. Location is right off of a pretty busy street and the sounds of passing cars throughout the night was very loud. They did provide free earplugs in the lobby, but it didn't help as much as I would've liked. The futons were comfortable, but each bed only had 1 pillow each and they were very thin so it was hard for me to sleep with.
- Katarina (9/5): -
- Aurora (8/5): Nicely located and good facilities - Good location if you want to visit Fushimi Inari!

- Meza (8/5): Good value and environment, especially if you’re solo traveling. - It was very clean and cozy. Great living area for people to meet and converse in. Staff is very kind. Check-out is super convenient- you don’t have to do anything. No elevator. If you have heavy luggage, you have to use the stairs. Which makes it inconvenient and very taxing when you’re already tired from traveling. Showers are also only on the first floor which is not super convenient.

- Gabriel (9/5): Good location and chill vibe - Located within walking distance of Fushimi-Inari shrine and two train stations. Comfortable japanese-style rooms. Expensive coffee when the vending machine outside sells it for twice as cheap.
- Amanda (7/5): Great place, excellent location with inconsiderate guests - Location, close to the shrine to allow for early morning climbs. Seriously, be out for 5/5:30am if you want to avoid the insane crowds!!
The shower was really good as well and the facilities were great. I really disliked that our room (204) was right onto the 2nd floor communal dining area. A group of fairly obnoxious American men sat in the dining area from 8pm to 2/3am-ish being unnecessarily loud. It felt awkward to get back and forth to the bathrooms.
At night, the communal area on the ground floor should be the only one in use. Sadly, some people don’t have consideration for others when travelling.
The noise from the road in 204 was pretty loud but we can cope with that. It’s unfortunate other guests caused a sleepless night .
- Benjamin (10/5): Great location and value with friendly staff and welcoming common areas. - I stayed for a week. Great location for Fushimi Inari Shrine, just a short walk and I enjoy hiking the mountain most days in the early morning and after dark or night when it is not so crowded, it's very peaceful. I'm a frequent traveler and I tried the capsule hotels and hostels for my first time, and having your own room in a small managed setting is excellent. Friendly staff and inviting common area, I wish I could have spent more time with them, but I was heavily booked on day tours since I travelled alone. I had no issues waiting for bathrooms, and they offer an extra one on the first floor should you have issues. Water pressure is exceptional compared to my normal travels. The place met everything I needed for travel and beat my expectations. If there was anything I had an issue with, it was that I struggled with the keypads for the first day or two, it probably didn't help that it looked like I had to push the main door, instead of pull it. But those problems were all on me.

- Evgueni (8/5): - Location
- Malisa (10/5): A friendly and lovely stay - We appreciated the outdoor/patio common room! There were also enough toilet rooms for everyone. The best treat was the bathing room, which not a lot people used or either they kept it really clean! The tatami area was a lovely touch.
- Jarosław (9/5): Wyśmienita lokalizacja w pełni wyposażony obiekt z miejscami do wspólnej integracji.
- Killian (10/5): -
- Viktor (8/5): Quite alright - I mean, it was ait. Nothing crazy to be expected. Location is fine - everywhere I got within 1 hour, including Nara and Kobe. Luckily I was up only one flight of stairs, and ‘off season’ so the place was relatively empty. Can imagine it being a nightmare in rush season and being on the third floor.
- Felix (10/5): Fantastic guest house, close to two train stations and calm despite the touristy area - Lovely futons on Tatami, good shower room, great common area. Could not hear the neighboring rooms at all. Great to be able to borrow umbrellas and sun parasoles. No soap at the toilet sink.
- Alp (9/5): Cool. - Was very clean, had many facilities to use. The beds were nice to sleep on. Overall cool place as you can see the memories of former visitors everywhere. The room was a bit tight on the space.
- Christopher (10/5): Great location near Fushimi Inari shrine. Very clean. Close to supermarket with free parking - They had free parking. Kitchen and bathroom was great on same floor as the room. Nothing
- Maryther (10/5): Exceptional - The bath tub downstairs was nice and big. The lobby was nice for the kids to play. They love the fishtank. Very close to the train station which I like is very convenient. The air-conditioning was great too! After walking the whole day in hot humid weather.
- Shields (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shouping (7/5): Average good but could be better - Great location and room size are good, considering the average Japanese hotel room is small. My floor, I only needed to share a bathroom with another room guest, which is good, the bath and toilet are separate, so even though it's shared, but still convenient. No lift. There are not always staff on-site. Even when staff were onsite, they didn't greet or say hi.
- Derick (10/5): Perfect Night’s Rest - Amazing location. Close in proximity to the 1,000 Tori Gates and the local metro line to take into the main area of Kyoto. Very friendly staff and great vibes I have no negative comments to share. The staff had a wonderful sense of humor and were very welcoming to international guests.
- Michael (10/5): Excellent Place to Stay - We loved everything from the social area to the rooms to the bathrooms. There is a social area downstairs and one upstairs. We didn't use the upstairs one, but really enjoyed the downstairs one. They also have pictures that you can color in and two cool fish tanks.
They had a free water dispenser there and a place to make coffee and tea for ¥200. They also have small fridge with alcohol that you can get for ~¥200. Another plus is they have umbrellas that you can borrow in case it's raining (it was when we came)
They have a washer and dryer located outside but in a secure area that you could use. Also about ¥200 if I remember correctly.
The host was very nice and answered any questions we had. Towels are located downstairs and you can grab them when you need them. The entrance was secured with a code and so were the rooms which was very nice.
It's also also located very close to Fushimi Inari, many restaurants, and two train stations.
This was by far our favorite guesthouse to stay at in Japan and I highly recommend. Nothing, very nice place.
- Vasilis (10/5): Exceptional - Very well located, nice facilities easy to find very friendly staff and very cute room
- Sylwia (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic place! Super clean and cosy hostel with very nice staff and everything you need (kitchen ware, coffee, tea, small self service bar, laundry, board games, music instruments… you can’t even imagine how well equipped this place is!). Japan style room has really comfortable futons and nice vibe! Hostel is perfectly located, next to the two train stations (2 train stops from Kyoto main station!) and next to an amazing Fushimi Inari temple. 24/7 Lawson shop and many restaurants are just around the corner. Definitely the best hostel I have ever been to! Nothing, all was 10/10
- Petar (9/5): Superb - Not being allowed to eat in my room. It is a bother to have to leave my room every time I wish to have a snack.
I suggest adding an option to ask for no tatami floor rooms to solve this problem.
- Konstantinos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phaka (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriel (8/5): Very good -
- Dmitrii (8/5): Very good -
- Chooi (8/5): Very good -
- Kirov (8/5): Very good - The vibe of the place and the location were great.
It was also surprisingly comfortable for a futon, and the room was specious. In addition, the bathroom and shower were to be shared with only one other room, so that was great. There was no hot water :(
- Indrajit (6/5): Pleasant - Everything was clean and good. The wifi is the worst.
