• Elia María (10/5): Un pequeño refugio con alma en pleno corazón de la ciudad - Desde el primer momento, la experiencia destaca por la atención: el chico de recepción es, sencillamente, impecable. Cercano, resolutivo y con una vocación de servicio que se percibe en cada detalle, consigue que te sientas cuidado desde que cruzas la puerta. El hotel tiene un encanto especial, de esos que no se pueden replicar fácilmente. Sus dos terrazas son, sin duda, uno de sus grandes tesoros, pero la del ático… es pura magia. Las vistas, abiertas y serenas, regalan momentos que rozan lo romántico, especialmente al atardecer. Y lo más sorprendente: su ubicación. A pesar de estar en pleno centro, el silencio y la tranquilidad envuelven la estancia, convirtiéndolo en un oasis inesperado. Un lugar para volver, sin duda. Todo estuvo bien

• Virginia (8/5): Una noche en Xàtiva - La ubicación y las pequeñas terracitas que tiene. Todo decorado con mucho gusto. Las paredes son muy finas y se escuchan los ruidos de las escaleras y habitaciones contiguas.

• marie-ange (10/5): Séjour magique et accueil au top! - Accueil vraiment merveilleux de notre hôte, très serviable, qui nous a donné des conseils de visites, des informations notamment historiques et culturelles super intéressantes, échanges en français. Merci pour tout !!! Maison dans la vielle ville rénovée avec goût, avec 2 terrasses très sympas, et ce qui va souvent avec l'ancien, escaliers assez raides et maison très fraîche. Séjour qui nous a ravis! En plus, vielle ville très agreable. En période des fallas, journées de fête populaire, de pétards, de défilés avec des costumes traditionnels magnifiques. Une coutume impressionnante! Il manque un peu de rangements dans la chambre et salle de bains quand on reste plusieurs jours. Sinon rien.

• Matthew (10/5): Another excellent stay at Casa Aldomar - and I am sure I will be back again! - I've stayed at Casa Aldomar on a few occasions. The property is beautiful, lovingly restored. The location is excellent, a very short walk to the square but on a quiet street with little traffic. Beds are really comfortable. Great views from the roof terrace, grab a beer from the fridge and enjoy the views across Xativa.
• Florence (9/5): An atmospheric old town with a dramatic castle and so much history behind its walls and doors. - Fascinating conversion of a very old property, very stylish with piles of great books and carefully chosen accessories. Most helpful hosts with carefully designed walking and exploring routes around the area, from their own insider experience. Everything was great and atmospheric. The birthplace of two of the Borgia popes right across the street- how can you beat that?

• Consuelo (10/5): - La ubicación en el centro histórico hace más difícil el acceso pero vale la pena disfrutar de esta fantástica casa del siglo XVIII que ofrece tranquilidad y fácil acceso para llegar a la plaza del mercado, museos, castillo,... El desayuno es muy variado y fue un acierto total contratarlo, tanto por la comodidad como por la calidad del servicio.

Decent and cheap breakfast. Quite basic breakfast. I would gladly pay more than 7 euros for something a bit more sophisticated (eggs, better bread and cheese, more jams, etc...)

• Bosquerol (8/5): Lloc tranquil i comfortable - Lloc net, comfortable, l'encarregat molt amable. Es una casa antiga adaptada per rebre hostes. Decoració austera, senzilla i amb bon gust. El desdejuny excel.lent. Al ser una casa de poble una mica estreta de façana, no disposa de ascensor, per tant malauradament no esta adaptada.

Josetxu super majo y siempre atento a cualquier necesidad. Ademas de recomendarnos lugares oara cenar y desayunar. Por poner algo.. encontrar aparcamiento. Buscar por la zona del colegio, a unos 5 minutos a pie
• Andrea (9/5): A wonderful find, would definitely return. - Situated in the old part of the town, overlooking the cathedral and central to all facilities but quietly tucked away. It’s a small and friendly hotel and the owners couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We struggled with trains from the airport when we arrived and Ian arranged a last minute late check in and helped give directions on the trains and once we eventually arrived in the town. We were not disappointed, the room was exceptionally clean, and the air conditioning was a must. It was still 34 ish degrees in the day so a welcome return to the room. We had a room on the top floor which came with access to the roof terrace from where you could enjoy the views of the castle and the cathedral. There was a mini bar fridge on the 1st floor if you fancied a cool drink and you pay at the end of your stay, and the occasional beer/ coke was enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the town. Breakfast is not included when you book, but recommend it. There is get a full continental with tea as well as the traditional Spanish option of coffee, cereal and fruit. The host Ian would happily spend every morning chatting with us, talking about the history of the town, the area and offering suggestions for days out and places to eat. Make sure you visit the castle/ fort, and the hotel offer a walking route that you can follow to the castle via the Dove Cave. For us though it was the host Ian that really made stay for us, it has a real family feel to the hotel and felt so welcome. We hope to return to Xativa soon and without hesitation, we would book here again. Thank you so much for making our stay to Xativa so much more than we could have expected.
