Free parking and we were about to park for a few hours before checking in. Everything clean. Really good contact by email. We liked our two night stay. An observation: the water pressure is quite weak for the shower. (Room 10)

Our room was No7, which had a 4 poster bed, and was very comfortable. Massive TV.( if you wanted to use it!) Loverly, comfortable furniture. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast, set us up for the day. Full English, a must.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Characterful hotel with everything you need. - Well appointed, comfortable, large sized room a few minutes walk from the city centre.
Characterful decoration choices adds a bit of interest and distinguishes Cantebury Lodge from the bland big chains, but without being over the top.
Hot breakfasts are well cooked and a generous size with a good selection of other options to go with it. Lisa is a friendly hostess, who will definately make sure your morning coffee cup doesn't run dry.
Would recommend.

- Gray (10/5): What a hidden gem! We loved our stay. How nice to feel that personal touch to a night away. - Walking distance to town. Free parking onsite. Warm welcome by our host and shown to our lovely room. Huge, bright, spotlessly clean and comfortable room with big bathroom with his and hers sinks, great shower and all the toiletries you could need. Super comfortable bed and nicely furnished. Great freshly cooked breakfast and host waited on us hand and foot! Really loved the personal touch to the place and our stay. Nothing to add - it was a home from home.
- Shaun (10/5): - It’s hard to find fault with this lovely b&b. Room was immaculate and comfortable with some lovely little touches. Our host was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. We were able to both park on site and charge our car. Location was quiet and a 15 minute walk into the city with some lovely restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend- thank you for a lovely stay.
- Shirley (10/5): - Lovely clean bed and breakfast would highly recommend a stay there , the room was spotless and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in,the breakfast was brilliant and Lucy the owner couldn’t do enough for you ,the location of the property was perfect for seeing Canterbury
- Neil (8/5): Wonderful rooms and location - Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if this could have happened while the car was parked at the B&B.
Secondly, it helps if you are an early riser. Last call for breakfast was 8:45am which is a bit early for us on holiday especially as the clocks went forward the first night of our stay.
Other than this it is a great place to stay and a hand walk into Canterbury.
- Eamonn (10/5): Great place to stay - Long weekend trip with my wife. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. Parking easy to the front. Just a really good place to stay.

We would stay again.

Looking out of the window at dusk there was a friendly fox in the garden which we enjoyed watching playing with the owners dog !
Within walking distance of the town centre was great and parking at the hotel too .
Nothing was too much trouble when I asked if there was decaf coffee , the next day it was there at breakfast .
This is definitely a hidden gem , would highly recommend.

- Stuart (8/5): A Canterbury Gem 💎 - We did have an issue on arrival with one of the rooms we booked but this was eventually resolved. The room was beautiful, views of the cathedral. The shower and Billy in hairdryer are very loud (be warned). Toiletries storage in the bathroom would be a valued addition. Our host was very attentive, breakfast was delicious. Very big portions and very lovely host who was soo happy to help with anything.
- Michelle (10/5): Hotel stay in Canterbury - Lovely hotel very comfortable and a great location.
- Deborah P (8/5): - The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dusty around the beds and very warm at night. A fan helped
- Paul (10/5): Good stay - Lovely spacious room. Just ask if you need anything. No iron in the room but there is one available. USB ports for your chargers. Shampoo/ conditioner available in the bathroom. Only minor negative was the towels were extremely rough although I didn’t mind that myself. Short walk to town and major tourist attractions. Also busses to take you to other areas if you don’t want to drive. Would stay again if I didn’t as ever in Canterbury again.
