• Marlene (6/5): Comfy bed but Paid more expecting to have breakfast which was not good. - Great location and comfy bed Breakfast was terrible. No milk for cereal, no fruit pretty much yogurt and toast. They could upgrade and take out dirty carpets put other flooring.

First, we had to wait about 20 minutes to receive our room keys because the receptionist was on the phone, ignoring people who were tired after a long trip. Moreover, during that call, she was discussing the guests who were standing there waiting, which is completely unacceptable. There was no apology for the delay, and her behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate. No respect was shown toward guests who had paid for their stay. I do not recommend this hotel for travelers.

Staff was helpful and friendly - check in and check out. It is a dated hotel. Carpet could be updated. Tile in bathroom could be updated.

• edsaa2026 (8/5): Kudos to Ashton - I just want to give a big kudos to Ashton—this young man truly made a difference. After a long, tiring journey and not feeling our best, plus the stressful situation late check-in at the front desk really brightened our day. We usually enjoy our stays with Wyndham and we are a gold member, but I’ve read some reviews about the rude front desk staff at this hotel. Despite that, I chose to stay and Ashton - completely changed my impression of the staff at Super 8 Wyndham in Butte. He’s the kindest, and I genuinely believe he deserves a promotion for his and with the stressful situation with the fire in Helena on the way home, his kind,

The back door stuck open so anyone could come in, so I didn't feel safe. When we got there the toilet paper roll had about a foot on it and only one extra roll.

Except for the location! - Great location for what we were there for, we were happily surprised to find out that the July 4th parade went right in front of the hotel, so we didn’t have to drive anywhere to find seating! The guy who checked us in was very friendly! The room was pretty clean, the bedspread was either dirty or stained on one of the beds! Had fridge and microwave! The lady who was behind the desk when we got back from the fireworks show was not friendly at all! Neither my husband or I slept much all night, the bed was uncomfortable! Breakfast was very disappointing! Could hardly find a parking spot when we got back after the fireworks! And the last thing, I had requested a room on the first floor when I made the reservation, I also talked to a gal at the hotel later and told her my request, she said there were no guarantees but they would try, at the most there could be 7 steps or so that we would have to climb! Well we were given a room on the third floor, I told the guy about my request, he said when the reservation was made, that was all that was available, and there was nothing else available now! So we got settled in our room then went to leave, and I had a question for the front desk! I had to wait for a gentleman checking in! He was asked if he made a reservation, he said yes, he had just called and made it a few minutes before getting there! Then the guy said he requested a room on the first floor, and asked if that’s where the room was! The other guy said yes, we had a room available on the first floor for you! It was 2 men, most likely two beds! So for us he said nothing was available, but then after we check in, gives someone a room on first floor! I have a bad knee right now that makes it hard to walk and it doesn’t bend too well, I’ve had 3 surgeries on my feet and have to take stairs one step at a time, bring my other foot up to it, then take the next step! And I recently had surgery on both legs! So I wasn’t too happy when all this happened! Stairs are extremely hard for me to do!!

• Jill (6/5): Good value but could use some improvements - We had a very long, rough day and I’ll say the man who checks us in added a little light to the end of the day. We were there for 7 nights and I was expecting a room refresh after 3 days(per what the sticker on the mirror implied) it didn’t happen. We got the room refreshed the day before we checked out. That part was disappointing as the towels piled up and the trash was full plus fresh sheets would have been so nice midway through. The housekeeper who did clean, was sweet as we ran into her after she was done. It was very cute how she laid out my personal blanket. The breakfast was lackluster, some fruit, eggs or sausage would have been a nice addition. I would have loved a room refresh and a bit more to the continental breakfast.

• LLJ1961 (8/5): Clean rooms - The motel is older but the rooms are refurbished except the beds. It was clean and fairly comfortable. If you don’t like old spring mattresses you won’t like the bed. We slept ok but we were exhausted. The fellow at front desk is super nice. Breakfast was ok kind of what you would expect.

Always clean, quiet rooms and ample breakfast in the clean dining area. Staff is always polite and helpful, and room rates are fair. I see no reason to go elsewhere.
