• Aleksandra (10/5): Medina hidden gem 💎 - Amazing small riad with very hospitable and helpful staff. Youssef and Adel were fabulous, answering every question we had and helping with arrangement of our stay and sightseeing in Marrakesh and other parts of Morocco. 🇲🇦 All was great. there are reviews saying that the location is challenging. Agree that it is hard to find a first time but that is actually what makes this place so unique as well. You do not live with all the touristic crowds of the Marrakesh but you are able to experience real life of Moroccans living next door in small streets of Medina
• Dmitry Prusakov (10/5): Marrakech's adventure - Central location inside the Medina, charmingly calm riad with great service from Adel and Youssef. The guys helped immediately with all requests and also shared the best spots of the city. 5 nights there went very smoothly. Definitely it's worth it. Initially, it wasn't easy to find this gem inside the tiny streets of Medina, but once you get used to it, you'll navigate like a local without any problem with orientation within the city.

• Majid (4/5): Personnel très bien, mais propreté de la chambre zéro. - Le personnel d'accueil était à l'écoute, très sympa et il nous a aidé à nous repérer dans la ville. Spéciale mention pour le travail incroyable de Youssef. Il a su nous renseigner correctement sur la ville et les alentours. Il fait attention aux petits détails qui rendent le séjour un peu plus agréable. Cependant, il a y plusieurs points indépendamment loin du personnel d'accueil qui doivent être revus. L'accès au Riad est très compliqué (impossible en voiture). Le ménage n'était pas fait correctement (les tapis étaient sales, le sol n'était pas fait, il y avait des tas de poussière un peu partout dans la chambre). Etant alergique à la poussière j'ai du quitter le logement et louer à l'extérieur de Marrakesh. Sur les 3 nuits, nous ne sommes restés dans l'hôtel que la première nuit le temps de trouver autre chose. + Chambre sans fenêtres. Très déçu.

• Kavan (10/5): Beautiful, small, and quiet Riad with lovely staff and clean authentic rooms - It is a beautiful, small property with only a few rooms and one staff member on at any point in time. So, the staff know you by name and are extremely helpful. Over my 5 days I had Adel and Yousef overseeing the Riad - both are knowledgeable and helpful guys who know the area and have many tips and tricks about a time in Marrakech. I cannot speak more highly of them. The Riad is a quiet oasis in the busyness of Marrakech. Even the lovely rooftop is protected from traffic noise, and has a beat combination of sun and shade. Use Google Maps in standard (not satellite) mode to find your way there. Don't be scammed by locals showing you to the door for money... unless you need it?

• Jennifer (9/5): Lovely riad, lovely staff, would recommend - Lovely riad and staff wonderful, very helpful. They organised us a taxi to the airport and took us and our luggage to the meeting point which saved a lot of stress! Also went out to get us special breakfast stuff for dietary requirements which was really kind. A little tricky to find the first time, a sign at the end of the alley would have been helpful to know we were heading in the right direction. Room quite dark, for packing/getting dressed etc

As almost Riads, Riad Meriem is location in some back alleys off of the road however it didn’t take long to orientate ourselves and feel comfortable in the location

• Noor (8/5): Friendly staff & good value for money - Yousef & Adel were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast and tea were very nice. The bathtub in our room was massive. Room was spacious. Due to the location of the Riad, which is quite secluded away from the main road, it was very quite and peaceful in evenings. Location near to markets, walkable distance. Just worth being aware that you have to walk through a few run down alleys to get to the hotel, which may not be ideal if you've got some heavy luggage line we did. The taxi cant drop you off very nearby so we had to walk 10-15minutes. It turned out the staff would have been able to help with that, either meet you to help with luggage, or get a handyman to carry it for you. But unfortunately we not were informed about in advance of our arrival. So try to reach out to them prior to your arrival. Other than that, staff very helpful and it was good value for money.
• Emilie (5/5): - De Riad ligt op een fijne plek in de Medina. Ook werden we ontvangen door iemand die ons veel tips gaf over de stad en erg vriendelijk was. In de Riad zelf rook het niet fris. Het leek alsof de katten hadden geplast op de gangen. De kamers zelf waren erg donker en veel van de douches deden het niet, waardoor er bij elkaar gedoucht moest worden (we waren met een groep). De kamers zijn gehorig, dus als de eerste mensen gingen opstaan werd iedereen op de verdieping wakker. Ook het ontbijt was zeer ondermaats. Er zat schimmel op het brood en de overige broodjes leken uit een vliegtuig verpakking te zijn. Voor het geld was het het niet waard.

• Gemma (4/5): Riad con potencial, abandonado - Adan fue encantador, lo conocimos el segundo día y estuvo siempre atento. Nos costó mucho encontrarlo, era tarde y se olvidaron de nuestra reserva. Las fotos de la terraza no son reales, estaba abandonada. Las habitaciones, se ve en las fotos, son muy oscuras y sin ventilación, con olor a humedad.

• Ahmed (1/5): VERY BAD EXPERIENCE DONT BOOK THIS IT’S A SCAM - DONT BOOK THIS RIAD. ITS A SCAM DOESNT LOOK LIKE PICTURES!!!! way to the riad was very dark and unsafe. It’s not a good place to stay in Marrakesh. We checked out earlier, even tho our concerns the owners didn’t care an only wants money! The toilet keeps flushing, there is no door in the toilet, you can hear anything. You can also hear everyone talking outside. The bathroom looked like a chamber from WO2. It’s not central at all; those tourist thinks it’s central but it’s not. Overall bad experience! Also we didnt got our money back, they told us to contact the owner, the owner answered but as soon he heard it was about this he didn’t response! The boys who worked at the reception were very nice and polite, but they could do anything about this. But they were friendly and professional.

The breakfast was delicious, the riad beautiful, the rooms very clean and comfortable and there is a cute little kitten that likes to visit and cuddle. • Christian (8/5): would consider again when returning - Hidden in a side alley, which means it was very quiet and enabled me to have a good nights sleep, a big plus for me. Youssef picked me up where the taxi couldnt venture further and guided me to the hotel. He is the very helpful, positive, always smiling manager of the 5 room riad. He gave me good advice on where to change money and what to do. He served breakfast as well which was very plentyful. Eggs, pancakes, bread, tea, coffee, jam, honey orange juice, fruits. Room has AC/Heating, which was necessary in March, it got cold in the evening. Wifi worked well enough. Reasonable price for what they offer.

• Emma (10/5): Amazing, can’t wait to come again! - I loved how hidden away it was. The decor was lovely and loved hearing the birds sing in the morning. Youseff was also incredible, he worked 24hour days from the day we arrived (Thursday) to the day we left (Tuesday). Anything we wanted, he helped us with and dropped us up pots of tea to our room every evening. He is a credit to Riad Meriem and the kindest person. Nothing.
• Ilyana (8/5): Belle adresse pour une immersion entre copine, proche de la ville dans un berceau de tranquillité - Le Riad est typiquement marocain. Les chambres sont belles, conformes aux photos, confortables, lit spacieux, le calme est très appréciable et la proximité du lieu, 10mn à pied de la place Jemma El Fna. Le service de transfert aéroport taxi était très agréable et efficace : tout est géré ! Enfin, mention spéciale pour Youssef. Il a été une perle ! Accueillant, très arrangeant pour l’arrivée comme pour le départ, à l’écoute et de bons conseils pour nos excursions dans Marrakech, il a même trouvé notre taxi de transfert pour nous rendre à Agadir! Les petits déjeuner faits maisons étaient de qualité. Nous étions ravies et recommandons vivement! La chambre dans laquelle nous étions était top! Juste petit bémol sur la luminosité (un peu sombre) et pas de vraie fenêtre mais la double porte ouvre directement sur le balcon.

• Flora (3/5): Very shabby Riad; Disappointingly deceptive and overpriced. - Youssef was delightful and a very kind and helpful man, despite having limited English. He came and collected us from the taxi drop off and was very sweet and smiley. It is extremely run down and dingy so the photos are very deceptive. The common areas are dirty and not kept in good condition. The bathroom was clean but drainage was poor and the shower constantly dripped which was very irritating at night. The bed sheets were stained and the towels were ripped and threadbare as with all the seating areas around the Riad. Sockets falling out of walls and bedside light in pieces. All the furniture was half broken. The roof terrace was unusable with all broken loungers in a pile and no seating area as advertised in the pictures. The breakfast was very poor quality compared to all the others we experienced in Morocco. The owners clearly need to start maintaining the property otherwise it’s going to be unfit for guests. Would NOT recommend wasting money booking this Riad - there are tonnes of lovely well maintained ones for cheaper than this!

Petit mot pour Youssef qui s’est occupé de nous le temps de ce week. il nous attendu jusqu’à 00h30 afin de nous guider jusqu’au Riad, puis nous a servi le repas au Riad jusqu’à 2h du matin très gentiment car notre vol a eu du retard. C’était délicieux et très gentil de sa part de nous avoir attendu et permis de manger aussi tard. Puis il nous a aussi proposé son contact WhatsApp afin de nous aider lors de notre séjour si vous avions des besoins ou des problèmes d’orientation. Encore MERCI. RAS

Desde el primer momento nos atendieron de maravilla y nos recibieron con un excelente desayuno, preparado por Youseff y su compañera, que llevan la hospitalidad a su máximo esplendor con su cercanía y dedicación. La habitación (elegimos la que tiene bañera) es preciosa y muy cómoda. La cama es perfecta para descansar. Como pequeño detalle, añadiríamos un poco más de iluminación, pero todo lo demás está genial. El acceso puede resultar un poco confuso si es tu primera vez, ya que son callejuelas típicas de la zona. Consejo importante: cuando llegues a una bifurcación con dos caminos, toma el de la izquierda y sigue recto. Si no te desvías, llegas directamente al riad. Gracias, Youseff, por todo. Sin duda, una experiencia muy recomendable.

• Natalie (3/5): Nothing like the advertised photos. - The location was good as it was in the middle of the medina. The young man working at the riad was lovely but unfortunately he was the ONLY person working there. It was like a ghost town. Very cold and unwelcoming building itself. The building itself (inside and roof) looks nothing like the photos advertised. The roof top was just a roof of dead plants and quite dirty. The court yard , again, dead plants, cold and miserable looking. Our room was tiny, dark and very dated- no su light at all bar a TUNY window looking at a wall. 100% needs upgrading. The bathroom ceiling was literally falling down (plaster) with mold/huge fresh water stains covering the ceiling. The shower head, while bronze, was covered in linescale..i mean destroyed in it..and also facing out of the shower towards the wall. No moving it. The sofa outside the room in seating area was quite dirty with what looked like dried blood stains on it. The only saving grace for the entire stay was the young man working there. Always a smile on his face , asking did we need anything..when he was there that is. He was also collecting people and bringing them to the riad. So, alot of the time, there was nobody at all in the riad. Not his fault at all. Its like the owener have up and didn't want to bother to hire staff or maintain the place. I was soo looking forward to staying in a riad, this one just ruined the trip but I'll be back and stay somewhere else as we 100% love Marrekesh!

From the very first moment, he welcomed us with genuine kindness, professionalism and warmth. He was always available, attentive to every detail, and ready to help with anything we needed, always with a sincere smile. Thanks to him, we felt cared for and at home throughout our entire stay. His dedication, discretion and positive energy represent the highest level of hospitality. People like Youssef make the difference between a good hotel and an exceptional experience. • Helen (10/5): Perfect stay . Four days of Marrakesh, loved it . - The hotel was very central to the main square in the medina , nice area . Youssef was a fabulous host. Helped with everything from advice on attractions and how to get there to making sure we were back safely and had everything we needed in our rooms. Couldn’t have been more accommodating on our last day, holding our bags and giving a room to change etc. Definitely recommend for anyone travelling to Marrakesh.

• Jacopo (1/5): noi non siamo riusciti ad alloggiare nemmeno una notte per le condizioni igieniche pessime e sono ancora in attesa di ri - youssef è un ragazzo gentile e accogliente. posizione non buona in quanto i taxi non possono arrivare(ti lasciano a 10/15 minuti a piedi), il riad si trova in una strada isolata a fondo cieco, non è strano trovare persone che ti impediscono di passare a meno che tu non ti faccia accompagnare da loro in cambio di soldi. il riad in sé ha una bella architettura, ma è completamente fatiscente: la nostra camera era così umida che lenzuola e asciugamani erano bagnati, c’erano macchie di sangue sulle lenzuola, il soffitto era pieno di muffa e si stava scrostando per la troppa umidità, in camera non ci sono finestre, il lavandino era otturato. esperienza pessima evitate di venirci.
• Matthew (10/5): Lovely, would come back in a heartbeat. - The Riad was beautiful, with a comfortable bed. The true highlight, though, was Yussef’s incredible hospitality. He made us feel so welcome and went out of his way to help us navigate to taxi ranks, which can be tricky in the area. One morning we slept in past 10 a.m., yet he still prepared breakfast for us, and another night he stayed up until 2 a.m. to greet us when we returned. Yussef is truly the heart and soul of the Riad—if you want to be genuinely looked after, this is the place to stay. The location is excellent as well! N/A
• Sara (10/5): Fantastico! - Struttura molto accogliente, ben pulita, tutti i giorni venivano sistemate le camere e cambiati gli asciugamani. Posizione nel centro della Medina ottima, tutto molto vicino e raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Youssef é stato gentilissimo, sempre disponibile ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta, sempre sorridente e cordiale, attento ad ogni dettaglio. Colazione top, molto vasta e ottima! tutto ok

• Maeve (10/5): Clean, great location and excellent staff really enjoyed our stay here. - We really enjoyed our stay here. Five minute walk to the souks. Our room was really lovely, always clean and fresh towels provided daily. Youssef was exceptional - always making sure we were ok, ready to help and really made us feel welcome. He offered to prepare food for us before our early flight out, making an extra effort to accommodate us which we really appreciated. Breakfast was really good each morning. I would definitely recommend staying here and if I am ever in Marrakech again I would be booking to stay here. everything was great

• Zilana (10/5): Amazing - Adel and Yousuf were very helpful and kind from the moment we arrived. They were always there when needed, made us feel comfortable, and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Their professionalism and positive attitude truly made a difference in our experience. Highly recommended! Only thing is the location, as it’s through alley ways and it’s a little hard to get to, but as the days go by you will know the roads.

The Riad itself is beautiful, and Yousef was incredibly attentive and always at hand whenever we needed anything. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we had to mention anything, it was a little hard to find at first as the Riad is quite hidden, though this was on us as they did offer airport transport. Also, as it was winter, we would have appreciated the room being a bit warmer.

They were happy to assist with everything, whether it was calling a taxi, offering local advice, or bringing a coffee or tea at any time of the day. Their hospitality really made the stay special. The location is exactly what you’d expect from a traditional riad: just a 2–3 minute walk from the souks, yet tucked away in an old neighborhood that feels authentic and full of character. It’s not a modern area, but that’s what makes it the true Marrakech experience. I would definitely recommend Riad Meriem to anyone looking for warm hospitality and an authentic stay in the heart of the city.
• Pomato (9/5): Great place, need to upgrade wifi. - We really liked the staff. Yusuf woke up at 6am to take us breakfast before our flight. We didn’t expect that. Really top notch staff. The WiFi barely worked. I had to work and I had no cell signal or wifi. It should work for the price we paid. It’s not even that it was slow, it didn’t work half the time. That was problematic.

Ci hanno organizzato il transfer da e per l’aeroporto accompagnandoci e aiutandoci con le valigie. Colazione molto buona e abbondante. Camera troppo poco illuminata. Bagno poco illuminato, specchio piccolo e molto distante. Poca insonorizzazione in camera: se c’è rumore all’esterno, si sente tutto. Colazione dalle 8.30/9.00: un po’ limitante se si vuole uscire presto per visitare la città.

• Liadan (8/5): Beautiful stay in centre of medina - Yousef was an amazing host, and helped us when my partner got sick. He was super accommodating, and friendly. He helped us have our breakfast in our rooms, and my partner even joined him to watch afcon. There was also a very friendly cat, and the day my partner was sick we stayed above the riad on the terrace, which was stunning and peaceful. The riad is also absolutely gorgeous. Yousef was wonderful, and he made our stay so special. The bed was a little hard, the wifi didn't really work well, and although the bathroom was stunning, water tended to get everywhere when we would shower. Also the pathway to get there is a little scary especially late at night. Although it is very central in the Medina which is convenient, I would just be careful in the evening. Everything went well in the end, but we did feel a little uneasy navigating back to the riad in the dark.
• Donna (10/5): Beautiful Riad, perfectly hosted ,superb stay! - Beautiful Riad, tucked away but central to everything. Peaceful and tranquil, was a home to retreat to at the end of a busy day. Rooms are gorgeous. Our host Adel was truly amazing and gave us lots of info & advice, We had dinner at the Riad and it was the best meal we ate during our holiday. Freshly cooked for us a wonderfully hosted three course dinner. Highly recommend Nothing!

The room was lovely with a really nice shower and toiletries! Fresh towels each day and breakfast were the perfect extra touches. It was a relaxing place to come back to after exploring busy Marrakesh!

Disponibilidade total e simpatia serena.. Daquelas pessoas que está , definitivamente, na função certa. É muito dificil chegar ao Riad sem ajuda. É importante contratar o servico que o Riad presta para o transfer do aeroporto até ao Riad.

• Frank (7/5): Nydelig beliggenhet og bygg. - Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på Riad Meriem. Frokost var enkel og god. Egg og masse søtt og en deilig kanne med kaffe. Beliggenheten var veldig bra. Midt i den herlige delen av Medina. Rom var veldig flott og ble vasket bra hver eneste dag. Adel var veldig hjelpsom og god. Vi var der i desember og synes det var litt kaldt. Nå kan man jo ikke gjøre så mye med været, men vi savnet levende lys rundt omkring i riaden, samt de burde kanskje har fyrt i peisen.
• Nigel (7/5): 60th Birthday trip to Marrakech - The location was perfect for seeing all the medina had to offer. Our host Adel at the Riad was wonderful. He was friendly and very helpful from the get go. He gave us lots of information in what to see and organised a hot air balloon trip for us which was magical..a must for anyone seeking a bit of adventure & if you dont mind an early morning start. He was an asset to our stay. Thank you Adel. Unfortunately the little alley ways to the Riad are a bit daunting when you first arrive but you get used to that. And our mattress was too hard for our liking but Adel added another padded mattress cover which helped.

• Sveva (10/5): Magico ♥️ - Il Riad è stupendo! Elegante, curato, pulito ed in una zona tranquilla. Adel, fin dal primo istante, è stato gentilissimo. È riuscito a trovare per noi, poche ore prima rispetto a quando necessario, un autista che rimanesse a nostra disposizione per alcune visite in città e per raggiungere l’aeroporto. Al momento della partenza, ci ha aiutati a raggiungere il punto del pick up, accompagnandoci e portando le nostre valigie per tutto il tragitto. Davvero una gentilezza incredibile. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie 😊
