The hotel maid couldn't have clean my room probably because someone personal items left at the headboard of the bed. Which made me question the cleanliness of my hotel room. After seeing, it left me feeling uneasy. This is one of the reason, i begin renting from VRBO! I thought the reason for (later) check-in time was to allow your staff more time for cleaning but i don't think that the case which is very disappointing.

- Jody (9/5): Wonderful stay in a convenient area. - I like that I know what to expect across the board when I stay at a Hampton Inn. Everything is similar no matter which location I stay at. I liked that it was on the main road, it was easily accessible and online check in was available. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was someone was riding their electric scooter in the parking lot and going between cars - when I notified the staff he went out right away to address the issue so I’m grateful for that. The only thing was only one elevator was working, but we didn’t have issues using the working one. And the advertised pool was not operational - it wasn’t a big deal for us though.

- Glynis (7/5): It was decent - The hotel was very clean and the staff I interacted with was very pleasant The beds were like bricks to us, offering little comfort and making it difficult to rest properly. The breakfast options were quite limited; some guests don’t eat pork, which further restricted the choices available, reducing the overall enjoyment. The coffee creamer supply was minimal, and I felt there should have been a wider variety of food options overall, including different beverages and accompaniments. Aside from these fewissues, the stay was quite decent. It was also decent enough that I will choose you again to stay

Stray hairs in shower and a few on counter where microwave was located. Walls already getting dirty and tile floors despite being new. No top sheet. Not enough towels and facecloths provided in room. You can hear everything. Outside the highway the room above. Even with our sound machine on highway we heard everything. The hotel had so much promise but too many corners cut.

Please use real bacon or sausage and scambled eggs the omletes are not very good or tasty. Also the clerk said alot of hampton inns are getting rid of the pools. One of the reasons i book with you is for the pool so i will probably have to stay elsewhere.

- Karen (8/5): - The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I really liked the wire basket drawers--with one glance I could see if anything had been left behind. The lobby had a nice seating area where we could wait for others in our party. The staff were exemplary--contacting us almost the moment we unlocked the room door to make sure everything was OK, and then checking back in a couple of days later. My one (minor) concern was addressed immediately. I didn't give five stars for three reasons: the noise from a neighboring room woke us up one morning, even though it was really only normal morning preparation. The AC was loud, but not unbearably so. And I wish there had been some healthier options for breakfast. The only cereals were sugary kid cereals; the "dried fruit" for the oatmeal was sliced almonds; and it would have been nice to have some plain Greek yogurt instead of the fruity, 14-gram sugar varieties. When the milk ran out one morning, it took at least fifteen minutes for it to be replenished, despite two of us requesting more. I saw one patron try putting yogurt on his dry cereal, and we had finished eating by the time we were able to get a small cup of milk to drink. Generally I really liked the hotel and was so bowled over by the staff (especially Jaden) that I will stay there again, but I will bring a white noise machine and some breakfast options.
- Delain (10/5): Hidden gem in New Jersey! - The hotel’s aesthetic was modern with a cool vibe. The hotel room was very nice, clean and upgraded. The sliding barn door for the bathroom and closet was not installed properly. The door would slide open when you were trying to use the bathroom.

- ggFromFla (4/5): Once they were my preferred, now they are in downfall - Oh, how the mighty have fallen I’ve been reviewing this Hampton Inn for years, and this is my fourth and probably last stay. Greeted with a broken #2 elevator which was not fixed during my 3 night stay. I once got on the elevator to go to the third floor, another person was there going to the fourth floor, the doors closed, the elevator paused at the third floor, then proceeded to the fourth. No more free lemon water outside the elevators. Lack of cleaning routines in the common areas as crumbs were all over the floor and splash marks on the elevator doors. Provided in the rooms were enough towels for three showers. Needless to say we were out of towels after the first morning. I had asked the front desk if they can kindly replace the towels and empty the trash in our room when we left for the day. Upon returning late at night, nothing had been done to the room. Approached the desk the next morning and they were very apologetic and said they would bring towels and empty the trash at my request. I did not want to disturb my partner, but I did call down later that morning and they did come right up. I have a beef with the hotel industry in hole because of their lack of maid service, this just puts an exclamation point at the end of it. The front desk, though friendly there seems to be a communication breakdown between the front desk staff, and the maintenance staff. Pleasant demeanor and assurances at the front desk were negated by the lack of action by the maintenance staff. Room 317. I needed to iron my shirt for the day and I got the ironing board out and proceeded to unfold it. It was broken. I wound up putting the ironing board on the bed and iron there. We approached the front desk and we were inquiring about cutting our stay short. We asked that our room be made up. We proceeded with our day and came back a few hours later. Our room was not cleaned. We found that the maid was still cleaning other rooms, and asked if our room was on the list to be cleaned. It was not. A maid supervisor knocked on the door and asked if we needed our room cleaned. We said yes. Had we not been there it would not have been done. Our room was painted with incorrect paint color. You could clearly see that they edged with one color and painted with another. You can see exactly where they stopped painting. Taking a shower is an adventure, as the temperature set at the beginning of the shower changes drastically to very cold, prompting immediate temperature adjustments. This happened all the times I showered. Our room also had a slight musty odor that appeared when the air conditioning was not running. One of my pillows also had a slight musty smell. On the positive side, the breakfast in the mornings were above board. Plenty of options to whatever you may like. The only thing lacking was fresh fruit.

My first room had a big spill stain on the carpet right in the main walking path. It had obviously not been cleaned in any way because I could feel/see sticky, crusty texture still. And the bathroom/closet door got stuck halfway so only small openings on either end. They did change my room. There were a lot of noise issues for me, you can easily hear people above/in hallways and people are just inconsiderate.

- Chrissy (10/5): Relaxing - It smelled great, they had coffee available all day and night. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. It is in a great location, the rooms were very clean and I had no anxiety trying to sleep here.

- trishkawaterburyc (10/5): Clean comfortable room, exceptional staff. - Comfortable room, clean and quiet. Good amenities, easy and ample parking. The main reason for the 5-start rating is the staff. My 11-year-old daughter and I arrived late in the evening and were checked in by Keith, who could not have been nicer or more professional. We ordered dinner through Grub Hub, which arrived late and stone cold because of the delivery person. Keith tried to help us throughout, then comped us a bunch of snacks and drinks, simply because he felt bad for my kid and wanted to brighten up our evening. His kindness made our night.
