Janet (10/5): A cool location, a short walk from stunning beaches and great - Location was fabulous. Great walks, wallabies and close to all the shops you need. Huge TV. We drive around the island and managed to get up to West head for the most amazing sunset! The Fort wall was also stunning and very interesting. So many great walks we didn’t get to do. It is tucked away amongst the trees and quite dark during the day which would be perfect in summer. It was surprisingly cold the two nights in May we were there. We only had 2 thin blankets. It was too late to ask for more.

Nicole (10/5): Perfectly tucked away accomodation close to what you need. - The property is nicely tucked away. Cabin 7 was very clean and was beautifully set out. The property is a short walk to Alma bay and the Arcadia pub, a short 5-7min walk to the bus stop. & It’s a beautiful 15mins walk (if you like walking) over the hill to Nelly Bay. Friday night the RSL across the road do meals & music. There is onsite parking near the cabins if you bring your car over. Over all Roxanne is amazing. Communication fantastic. Will stay again. Can’t fault our stay.

Sandra (10/5): Rainforest Retreat - The room was lovely with plenty of space. The room was well equipped with a full sized fridge and kitchenette. The complex is set inside beautiful rainforest gardens with plenty of free parking. The bed was very comfortable but could be a little bit bigger. There is a pool at the complex but I wasn't sure if that was for any guests to use or exclusively for those that rent the house. This is a great location if you take a car to Magnetic Island.

Anna (9/5): I would definitely come again.I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and appreciated being able to have my Daschund Dolly with me - The position, the comfort and cleanliness of my accommodation. The back concrete step had no night light and on the first night I fell off the step and took a huge hunk of skin off the inside of my ankle. This restricted my ability to walk distance for the remainder of my stay It is still healing.

Daniel (8/5): A rain forest experience - The property felt as if you went back in time to Jurassic park. It was amazing to be in the room at night and all you could hear was the surrounding noises of the rain Forrest. Also the facilities were very good and perfect for what we needed. The only issue was we were in the furtherest lodge and the wifi wasn’t strong enough to run the TV, meaning we couldn’t watch tv and struggled to message people back home.

It was comfortable & clean & in a handy location to shops & bus stop, as well as near the beach. Only thing was we needed a second face washer & were able to get that on the first morning.

The pool was very close to some of the units but still a nice relief and fun for the kids. Having the washer and dryer was great. And there were also games and sand toys for the kids. Well organised and easy to use. It was mostly clean but could use a deep clean. As clean as most hotels I have stayed at to be fair.

Noisy air conditioning but we put up with in because we were there during a heat wave. Night lights in pool could have been allocated more to enjoy my night time swims. Watch the mozzies!
