• Le Goff (4/5): Séjour rapide pour visiter le connemara, chambre vieillote mais fonctionnelle, un peu chère. - La région du connemara est très sympa; nous avons pu prendre notre chambre dès notre arrivée, 2h avant l'heure prévue; La chambre était très propre, et l'hôtesse très présente. Pas assez de prises électriques, Equipements sanitaires fonctionnels mais hors d'âge, c'était sans doute ultra moderne dans les années 1960. Pas de rideaux dans la chambre, qui donne pourtant sur la cour. Matelas très mous.

She has an eye on each and every details to make you feel perfect ! We highly recommend. She advised us some good pubs in Oughterard. Ideally located for those visiting the enchanting Connemara. Go rabh mille maith agat, merci beaucoup ! Ventilation in the bathroom, difficult to make the towels drying. Otherwise, perfect !

The room was very comfortable, and the location is in a rural location that is nonetheless easy to get to and from for nearby driving excursions. The Aughnanure Castle is only five minutes away. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommend.

• Brian (5/5): It did a job for us. - The property was clean, the host very helpful and pleasant plus a pretty good breakfast. The fact that guests cars were parked directly in front of our bedroom window meant that curtains were kept closed virtually throughout the stay to achieve any privacy. It would be better if the guests using the affected bedrooms could be allocated the space directly in front of their room to afford at least some degree of privacy. The bed was uncomfortable.

• Maggie (10/5): Such a great place!! - If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and very comfortable. The location was absolutely beautiful, located in a quiet town with a fabulous old castle right down the road. What really made the trip great, however, was Patricia and her family. She was the most gracious and generous host, went out of her way several times to help us without being asked, helped give advice on the best pub for dinner, and much more. She asked what our plans were each morning, then checked in about how it went when we got back at the end of the day. She stood on the front steps to wave goodbye as we got in the taxi the morning we left. If you want to feel truly cared for during your stay, you must come here. I would come back in a heartbeat, and I’ve told my family they need to stay here if they’re ever in the area. Thank you Patricia & family!!

• Keltoum (4/5): Trop cher pour un motel. - - la gentillesse de l'hôte - le fait d'être en retrait de la route, moins de nuisance. - literie conforable - Notre déception vient principalement du décalage entre la description et la réalité. Il était indiqué que c'est une "maison d'hôte" mais en réalité c'est plus un Motel - L'accueil est assez rapide et ressemble plus à un check-in d'hôtel. Assez impersonnel et expéditif. On vous donne la clé et voilà ! - L’insonorisation est vraiment pourrie. On entend tout. En plus, nous n'avons pas eu de chance, on avait une chambre à coté et en dessous de familles bruyantes (télé, sèche cheveux à minuit, discussions ...). - Attention au nom trompeur ; il n'y a aucune vue sur les montagnes. Ce n'était pas notre critère de sélection mais ça peut décevoir. D'ailleurs les chambres donnent plutôt sur le parking du logement. - le prix est elevé pour les prestations.

• Brittany (10/5): - We had an incredible experience at the Mountain View Guest House! Patricia was extremely kind and accomodating. We arrived late asking to look ariund the area, and she actually drove us to the castle nearby to arrive there before closing. As well, we had an early morning tour and Patricia went out of her way to make us an early breakfast. She was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend her B&B to anyone.
