Man kann zu Fuss über einen schmalen Wanderweg (bergauf und bergab, bergig, sonnig, einsam) in 1 Stunde nach Verona - und ggf in 20 Minuten zurück mit dem Bus. nichts

Het personeel en de eigenaresse zijn echt italiaanse dames, als je voor de echte Italiaanse sfeer gaat moet je hier zijn. Het hotel is aan het eind van een lange bergweg. We komen zeker weer! We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad, niet te veel veranderen!

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. It was an easy bus ride from the main train station and back into town. If you are coming on foot you will have to carry your luggage up the long driveway, but it is absolutely worth it for the stunning views and the feeling of being in a beautiful Italian villa. Gut mit dem Auto erreichbar (letzten 200 m zwischen den Weinreben und Olivenbäumen bergauf). Man ist in 10 bis 15 Minuten in der Stadt Verona. Der Blick über die Landschaft, von der wunderschönen Terrasse aus, ist großartig. Dieses Haus wird mit sehr viel Herzlichkeit geführt. Danke für eine wunderschöne Zeit!

Nach einem sehr herzlichen Empfang hatte sie nicht nur gute Tipps zur Parksituation in Verona, auch die Führung durch ihren wundervollen Garten war sehr interessant. Die Auffahrt zur Unterkunft ist eine kleine Herausforderung, aber es lohnt sich- der Blick über die Dächer Veronas ist phänomenal! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und wurde auf der weitläufigen Terrasse serviert. Zu dem konnten wir Produkte wie Olivenöl, Marmelade oder Honig aus eigener Herstellung erwerben. Nichts

For the first time a bit difficult to find and access via a private small road. The villa is nicely placed and with a nice terasse and superbe view to Verona. The staff is very kind and helpful. - Carla (9/5): Eine wunderschöne Villa mit viel Liebe zum Detail - Diese wunderschöne und romantische Unterkunft hat mich und meinen Partner sehr begeistert. Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb von Verona auf einem Hügel, von dem man eine tolle Aussicht hat. Maddalena, die Hausherrin, ist total lieb und hat uns freundlich mit einem Espresso empfangen. Als wir das Zimmer sahen waren wir wirklich hin und weg - sauber, schöne Einrichtung, alles modern und sehr schick! Frühstück gab es jeden Morgen von 08:00-10:00 Uhr im Innenhof und es war ganz liebevoll angerichtet. Frischer Kuchen, Obst, Rührei - alles was das Herz begehrt. Abends konnten wir aus einem Kühlschrank uns selbst am Getränke Vorrat bedienen (Wein, Bier, Wasser), welche wir beim CheckOut dann bezahlen konnten. Tipps von Maddalena gab es noch on top. Es war wirklich traumhaft und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Wenn ich etwas bemängeln müsste wäre es, dass es doch relativ weit zum Stadtzentrum ist. Uns hat es nicht gestört und wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Aber man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man einen relativ steilen Weg (ca. 12 Minuten zu Fuß) von der Hauptstraße bis zur Unterkunft läuft. An der Hauptstraße fährt dann der Bus ab, der ca. 20 Minuten bis zum Stadtkern braucht. Der Punkt war wie gesagt für uns überhaupt kein Problem, weil wir gut zu Fuß sind und die höher gelegene Anlage sehr sehr schön fanden.

Upon arrival we had tea in the garden and breakfast there as well. It is a little outside of the center but easy to get to the center with a bus, and a very good restaurant close by. This is not for everyone since it is outside the center and up a long hill, but for us it was magical and we would have loved to stay longer. The drive up the hill through the gates was a little cumbersome; however, the reward when you get to the top is magical with sweeping views and a lovely villa. Well worth it!

When you enter the old gates everything has a special aura and it's like you go back in time. - Alessandro (9/5): warm welcome; unbeatable location, hilly hideout a stone's throw from the city centre - excellent, warm welcome by a very classy host, a glass of white wine with a view; the property is superbly located, a stone's throw from the city centre yet away from the noise; room more than adequate; the quiet, pretty hamlet of Avesa is very conveniently located and you can access some of the nicest hiking trails in the area, either crossing the hills behind the city or moving up the secluded and primitive looking val borago nothing; all was grand, from beginning to the end

Our room was extremely comfortable with excellent air conditioning - very much needed as the weather was VERY hot ... The staff are lovely - couldn't be more helpful.

- Kerstin (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location in the hills above Verona, so nice and relaxing after busy Venice. We had a family apartment which was very spacious, well equipped and opened up to the lovely patio. We didn't want to leave. Nothing, it was perfect.

- Catherine (8/5): Absolutely Perfect Location. - absolutely beautiful location and comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean room. Host was amazing and so helpful. Loved listening to the sounds of nature. Didn't not like anything, although a small suggestion would be to have some tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The villa is situated on a hill, from which you can enjoy Verona in all its splendor. The host was very nice, very helpful, our stay was a very pleasant experience, especially since it was on my birthday. -
