Guest Reviews
- Rose (7/5): - I like how affordable it was and the host was very kind. The room was decent. I just had to do an overnight stay. There was a mould smell in the room which was a bit difficult to manage. The room opens directly to the road which is not a big issue but I was little conscious throught out the night.

- Khalid (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Butterfly Guest House! The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention to Mr. Peter, who was especially kind and helpful — he made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Butterfly Guest House to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing experience.
- ELIZABETH (4/5): - Very clean and convenient thank you. However terrible if you want a good night's sleep. The walls are paper thin. I could hear everything in the room next door. I was woken repeatedly and ended up leaving at 8am on Sunday morning to escape.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic en suite accommodation - Information on the website is misleading. There is no restaurant on site and no breakfast was available. The place is on the market, so that may be why dining is not offered. Room small and clean with shower in bedroom, good location, only suitable for a one night stopover.
- Janice (8/5): - Easy one night accommodation in a single room . Convenient property in a nice area close to Cheadle . Own front door so felt private . Room is basic but clean . Easy to park car and helpful owner who called me a taxi . Easy to check in and out . Reasonably priced ,
- Peter (8/5): Excellent stay - Friendly welcome, easy parking, small room comfortable with all the usual requirements met. Nice area and just 10mins or so drive from terminal 2 at manchester airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): What you need and more - Very friendly hosts, clean room and quiet area. Everything you need to catch some good rest
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very disappointed needs a refresh - So I booked this accommodation for a 5 night stay as I was on a course. I have to say I was very disappointed with the accommodation overall. The room was very small with a toilet and sink in a seperate room, the shower was in the bedroom. WiFi was non existent. 1 night stay maybe ok any longer I wouldn't bother. It was clean but in need of modernisation. I was originally going to stay a second week but I was that depressed in the small room in week 1 I couldn't bring myself to stay there again.
- David (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Wonderful single room, with tea and coffee making facilities, en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed.
Couldn’t ask for more. Very easy check-in from friendly host and situated in a nice area.
Enjoyed my stay in a warm cosy room, thanks very much
- Salman (8/5): - In close proximity to the Manchester Airport. Overall a nice, quiet area. Decent Establishment for an overnight stay.
- Vanessa (8/5): Lovely little rooms, with a nostalgic feel❤🦋 - I have to say I felt safe and at home staying here, unlike big hotels where you can feel lost and a bit lonely. The owners were so friendly, approachable and accommodating. I would say there were aspects of the room that could have done with updating, but nothing out of the way and nothing you would complain about. On the whole the place had a lovely nostalgic feel about it and it was ideally situated in a quiet spot. A perfect little place, with a front door of your own, meaning you don't have to disturb anyone. There are shops and nice places to eat just a short drive away and I felt that my car was safe in the parking space provided. Well worth the money. I would definitely recommend staying at the Butterfly Guest House and will be staying again should I visit Manchester.
- Craig (10/5): - Very welcoming and friendly
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Owners we friendly and helpful, there is a great place to eat just up the road where the food was fantastic and very affordable
- Michael (10/5): Great experience - Very friendly staff. Good prices. Close to airport.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I booked a single room for one night. It was very small and outdated. I asked to have someone ensure that I was awake early for a flight the next day and nobody woke me up, and worse, I asked for breakfast to be scheduled as early as possible (7am) because of an early transatlantic flight, and not only did I have to wait until 7.10, but I actually woke the cook up as she had dozed off. She was very apologetic, but it was not impressive.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing stay - Lovely people. Lovely guest house. Lovely breakfast. Peter and his wife are amazing host.
- Stephen (10/5): - Very happy with my stay, Good value
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved the friendliness and classic Bed and Breakfast experience. It was lovely to be reminded that British hospitality is still alive and well! Thank you!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A friendly welcome, a good breakfast (full English).
The room was tired but adequate.
- Chris (8/5): Very comfortable - A nice room with basin and shower cubicle with shared bathroom for toilet. The hosts were very helpful and a very good English breakfast. Very good value for money. Would stay again no problems.
