• Sandra (10/5): Super! - Świetne miejsce na pobyt na Sycylii! Bardzo dobra lokalizacja — blisko plaży, a jednocześnie idealna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Palermo i Cefalù. Pokoje czyste i komfortowe, atmosfera bardzo przyjemna. Właściciele są przesympatyczni i zawsze chętni do pomocy — doradzili nam w planowaniu wycieczek i polecili świetne miejsca do zobaczenia. Die Gastgeber sind super nett haben uns tolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Mondello und Palermo gegeben und man hat sich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Es war eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, den ganzen Aufenthalt lang. Leckeres Frühstück, das frisch zubereitet wurde. Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage es ist alles fußläufig erreichbar und auch die nächste Bushaltestelle ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 😊 We had a wonderful stay at the Mongibello B&B. The rooms are modern and clean. The hosts are super friendly; they gave us great tips for our stay in Mondello and Palermo, and we felt very welcome. There was a cozy atmosphere throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. The accommodation is in a great location—everything is within walking distance, and the nearest bus stop is just a few meters away. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

Excellent choice for staying in Mondello so close to the beach only 5 minutes distance. The room was so clean and comfortable. • Petra (10/5): Better than expected! - We visited Taormina and Trapani before arriving in Mondello, and honestly, we expected the least from Mondello—but it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The young staff were incredibly kind (and for the first time on our journey, we met people who spoke English). They went out of their way to explain everything—how to get around, where to eat, and what to see. Mondello itself was lively, welcoming, and very easy to navigate. Even though we had a rental car, we took a bus for less than €2 that brought us directly to the center of Palermo, which was super convenient. It was the perfect ending to our Sicily trip. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious, everything was a walking distance away. /

• Marlies (9/5): Origineller Aufenthalt am Meer - Sehr nettes Konzept, da es fast wie in einer WG ist. Großer Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche und Balkon von dem dann die Zimmer mit eigenem Bad weggehen. Das Frühstück wurde von Daniele (einem der drei Hosts) liebevoll zubereitet. Gulio, Daniele und Rosalio haben uns mit allen Infos versorgt. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren in Ordnung. Nur wenige Minuten zum Meer und zum Bus nach Palermo. Parkplatz auf der Straße in der Nähe. Da es im Zentrum von Mondello ist, kann es am Abend aus der Umgebung am Wochenende schon mal lauter werden, nach Mitternacht war es aber jedenfalls wieder ruhig. Die Zimmer etwas hellhörig, aber ok.

• Quinterno (10/5): Io e la mia amica abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni in questa struttura e ci siamo trovate davvero bene. Lo staff è super - La posizione in quanto la struttura è vicinissima alla spiaggia di Mondello. In più lo staff è super efficiente e disponibile per ogni esigenza!
• Małgorzata (8/5): Bardzo przyjemne i gościnne miejsce na krótki pobyt w Mondello - Atmosferę miejsca tworzą gospodarze- gościnni, sympatyczni, pomocni. Rano zapewnione jest słodkie śniadanie i pyszne omlety ☺️ W obiekcie jest czysto, pokoje są codziennie sprzątane. Miejsce ciche, położone na uboczu miasteczka, ale blisko plaży i knajpek. Brakuje lampek nocnych przy łóżku do czytania.

• Liuba (10/5): Ein Traumurlaub in Mondello - Wir haben 10 wunderbare Tage in Sizilien verbracht. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr nahe am Strand, es gibt einen sehr guten Supermarkt und tolle Restaurants in der Nähe, trotzdem ist es angenehm ruhig. Ein riesen Dankeschön geht an die tollen Gastgeber der Unterkunft - Giulio, Daniele und Rosario! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und die Gastfreundschaft war wirklich toll. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär, man fühlt sich unglaublich gut aufgenommen. Wir haben auch viele wertvolle Reisetipps bekommen, die uns die ganze Schönheit der Insel gezeigt haben. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker: frisch gemachtes Omelett mit Käse, Cappuccino und Croissants mit verschiedenen Füllungen.

Tägliche Reinigung erfolgte. Die Gemeinschaftsküche mit Kochmöglichkeit, Kühlschrank... erinnerte mit stark an das WG Leben zu Studienzeiten. Mir hat es gefallen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das B&B auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Es gibt nichts!

Ma ciò che ci ha colpito di più è stato il proprietario: è stato davvero incredibilmente gentile, disponibile e accogliente. Ci ha dato consigli su tutto, ci ha aiutato e ci ha sempre accolto con un sorriso. Un approccio del genere non si vede molto spesso al giorno d'oggi. • Cheryl Anne (9/5): Great place to stay - Very comfortable place, clean and the location is beautiful and peaceful. Parking great just outside the house. The view from the rooftop was amazing. The sea is just down the road and Mondello is a beautiful seaside place. The bus stop is found at the end of the road. It is also very close to restaurants. The owners are extremely helpful and helped us considerably how to get around Palermo. Thank you guys. Would definitely love to come back. The only thing was we had to walk about 5 mins to the cafeteria to have breakfast but it was worth it as they had very tasty food and sweets.

• Paula (8/5): - Bardzo podobała nam się lokalizacja apartamentu – świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania, wszędzie było blisko, a okolica była przyjemna i bezpieczna. Dużym plusem był też przemiły gospodarz – bardzo pomocny, otwarty i zawsze dostępny w razie pytań. Dzięki temu czuliśmy się naprawdę mile widziani i zaopiekowani. Sam apartament był wygodny i dobrze wyposażony, natomiast uważamy, że czystość mogłaby być na nieco wyższym poziomie. Kilka detali wymagałoby dokładniejszego sprzątania-cześć wspólna. Mimo to pobyt oceniamy pozytywnie – przy drobnych poprawkach byłoby idealnie.

• Laurie (10/5): Best B&B! - We loved this B&B!!!! The property is in a great location, very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Very clean and well organized. Had a warm welcome from Daniele who gave us great recommendations of what to do and where to eat. He also was there each morning to make us breakfast. The property was close to ample street parking, was not difficult at all to find. The rooms themselves were great, the private balcony was an added bonus. Rooftop balcony also was wonderful with 360 views. They also allowed us to keep our luggage after check out and after our beach day a shower as well before the airport. Overall we would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone. It was an experience in itself just to stay here since every one working there seemed to genuinely care about having us enjoy our stay and time in Sicily!

The city is very close and accessible by bus. The food...mmmmm...wonderful...very tasty. Good breakfast, especially Rosario's omelette and fried eggs :)...and...bruschetta with mortadella olive oil and lemon...this is a must try. /

• Donna (8/5): Great location. Great breakfast. Wonderful 'assistance' from Rosario and his cohort Daniele. - The location was great, a short walk to the sea and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, with a generous assortment of cannoli and croissants and, if one wished, one's choice of eggs, freshly cooked by Rosario, who was the highlight of the stay here. Not only did he call the company in Palermo through which I had booked a tour to explain that it was impossible for me to attend because Mondello was flooded and no buses or taxis were running, the net result being them agreeing to take the exceptional step of refunding me the cost of the tour. That same morning Roasario was also the hero of the day for another guest, whose very expensive and much needed eye glasses had slipped off in to the harbour as she was on the pier the night before. Upon hearing this Rosario offered to get his goggles and go look for them. It took him many dives but he kept on going until he finally came up holding the glasses aloft. Cheers all round. Despite having confirmed my arrival time well in advance with Giulio, when I arrived there was no one at the B&B, a first in all my years of travelling in Italy. Since I was between accommodations I didn't have WIFI so had no way of contacting the B&B. I stood at the entrance gate for a while and then finally decided to risk incurring the annoyance of another resident in the building and rang the only other bell I could see. I apologized profusely 'per il disturbo' and the resident very kindly and very patiently made a couple of phone calls to locate someone to let me in. When I had WIFI again I saw that Giulio had sent me a new message earlier that day - AFTER I had left my previous lodgings -requesting that I send him a message a half hour before I arrived. They say 'all's well that ends well' but it is difficult to understand why, when he did not receive a reply to his new request, he did not arrange for someone to meet me at the previously agreed upon time. Another issue that I hope will be addressed had to do with the shutters on the window. I tried to close them at night, but I was worried I would break something if I forced them any harder. No one from the B&B was around to ask for help and since there are no drapes, even worse than the lack of privacy, the street lamp flooded the room with light all night. Rosario came to the rescue once again the next day - tho' it was a bit of a struggle even for him - and managed to yank them shut.

• Luca Marie (9/5): Familiäre Atmosphäre, gute Ausstattung und tolles Frühstück - Sehr herzliche Atmosphäre, Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Extrem gutes Frühstück, vor allem die Cornettos mit Pistaziencreme! Sauberes, geräumiges Zimmer mit eigenem Balkon. Strand fußläufig innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreichbar, wir konnten uns sogar kostenlos Sonnenschirme in der Unterkunft ausleihen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Giulio, Rosario und Daniele für den gelungenen Aufenthalt! Ein Fliegengitter an der Balkontür wäre schön gewesen, da es viele Mücken gab.
• Josef (10/5): - Sehr hilfsbereit, meiner Frau viel ihre Brille am Bootssteg ins Meer. Rosario nahm kurzer Hand seine Taucherbrille und ging mit uns an den Steg. Nach mehrmaligen tauchen - ca. 2 - 3 Meter tief kam er mit der Brille nach oben. Außergewöhnliche und hilfsbereit - das sucht seines gleichen. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Tag mit einer Auswahl von frischen Croissant serviert. - Beispielhaft!
• Frederick P. (9/5): - Das Personal gibt sich wirklich die aller größte Mühe, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Zimmer werden regelmäßig gereinigt, man hat rund um die Uhr einen Ansprechpartner für Fragen und Probleme. Außerdem bekommt man verschiedene Badeutensilien kostenlos ausgeliehen, wie Sonnenschirme, Badehandtücher, etc., die sonst vor Ort teuer erworben oder angemietet werden müssen. Der Ausblick vom Dach ist wirklich atemberaubend. Man kann die Fläche jederzeit frei zugänglich zum Ausruhen, Sonnen, Frühstücken, Abendessen usw. nutzen. Es gibt einen Sonnenschirm, Liegen, Tische und Stühle. Die Busanbindung von hier ist sehr gut. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit ist man in Palermo und zurück. Der Tag beginnt mit einem guten Frühstück und einem sehr netten Personal, das einen bei Laune hält. Der Gastgeber versucht auch Extrawünsche zu erfüllen. Hier gibt es das beste Omelette. In der Nähe gibt viele Restaurants, Cafés und einen sehr guten Supermarkt mit hochwertigen Produkten und einer großen Auswahl. In der Nähe gibt es einen großen Strand und wer es etwas ruhiger mag, kann auch im anliegenden Naturreservat schwimmen, spazieren, oder auch auf den Berg klettern gehen. Man sollte sich hier den Sonnenuntergang nicht entgehen lassen. Wir haben die Zeit wirklich sehr genossen und danken den Gastgebern für die tolle Zeit. Nichts.
• Jürgen (8/5): - Wir hatten ein kleines Doppelzimmer für 5 Tage gebucht, um von dort aus verschiedene Ausflüge zu machen. In der Unterkunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und dort von D. und R. herzlich betreut. Dank der tollen Tipps der beiden erlebten wir wunderschöne Tage in der Region und besuchten wunderschöne Orte, die wir alleine nicht gefunden hätten. Danke, dafür. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, das wussten wir. Aber es war modern und ansprechend eingerichtet und man hatte genug Platz, um seine Sachen unterzubringen. Das Mongibello hat eine tolle Dachterrasse mit einmaligem Ausblick, die man kostenlos nutzen darf. Abends, wenn wir müde vom Sightseeing kamen, wartete ein gemütliches und sauberes Zimmer auf uns. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Wir konnten zu Fuß ans Meer, zu den Restaurants und auch eine Bushaltestelle ist ganz nah. So konnten wir das Auto stehen lassen und mit dem Bus nach Palermo fahren. Und abends konnte man durch die kurzen Wege problemlos nochmal los und den abendlichen Trubel von Mondello genießen. Morgens sind wir mi einem typisch italienischem Frühstück verwöhnt worden (Corno und Kaffee) und konnten gestärkt zum Sightseeing 😃. Die Plätze vor dem Haus sind sehr begehrt, so hatten wir das Auto meist in der nächsten Querstraße, auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz, abgestellt. Da bekamen wir immer einen Parkplatz. Tagesticket 9 Euro und für die Nacht 3 Euro.

Le fermate degli autobus per Palermo sono a pochi passi. Staff eccezionale, gentile e pieno di suggerimenti per trascorrere al meglio il soggiorno.

• romane (8/5): Quelques jours farniente de qualité. - L’emplacement était parfait pour profiter pleinement du bord de mer. Les plages à proximité étaient vraiment sympa. L’accueil était parfait, tout est très bien expliqué, les alentours, les commodités, le fonctionnement de l’établissement, et le rooftop !! Nous avions une chambre collée à la pièce de séjour ce qui rendait nos réveils un peu moins sympa, c’était bruyant mais je ne doute pas que dans les autres chambres le calme était au rendez-vous !

• Laura (7/5): - Die Unterkunft war super gelegen in Mondello. Einfacher Check- In und Check- Out. Gastgeber freundlich. Super Dusche. Wir haben das B&B anfangs nicht gefunden (keine Beschilderung). Parkplätze schwer zu bekommen. Wie man die untere Türe öffnet nur durch nachfragen bekannt gegeben. Frühstück unseren Gsschmacks nach nicht gut (Croissants zwar gut aber einfach zu gross, Rest nicht vielfältig, Brot nicht gut). Frühstückzeiten eingeschränkt. WC war von Anfang an schon verschmutzt. WLAN schwach. Betten extrem hart. Kameras vor Zimmertüren. Nur ein kleiner mini Mistkübel Zimmer. Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

• Rafa1994 (9/5): - We had a wonderful stay! Giulio and Rosario were fantastic hosts, warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotless. The highlight was the large rooftop terrace with its stunning view over Mondello, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would happily come back. This is not really a criticism, but rather a small suggestion for improving the service. Even though the hosts put a lot of effort into breakfast and always asked what we would like, I think it might be easier for everyone if there was a small buffet where guests could simply choose what they like.

The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect, close to all the main attractions, yet quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the warm, flaky croissants that were simply amazing. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay — we will definitely come back!
• Zeycan (8/5): Güzel bir konumda, tatlı çalışanlar konaklamak güzeldi. - Konumu çok iyiydi, çalışanlar çok kibar ve yardımcıydı. Bize erken check-in imkanı sundular, bunun için de çok memnun olduk. Onlara çok teşekkür ederiz. Son gün sular kesildi. Tesisle alakalı olmayan mahalleyi ilgilendiren bir sorun olduğu söyledi. Fakat tesis bunun için hazırlıklı olmalı diye düşünüyorum. Bir de tesiste ücretsiz otopark olduğu belirtiliyor fakat bir alan yoktu biz çokça otopark aradık. Bunlara rağmen biz çok memnun kaldık. Bize yardımcı olan personele teşekkür ederiz.

The breakfast was basic but well prepared - fresh coffee, fruit, omelette, croissants,... The breakfast area is a communal kitchen with limited seating if you don't want to sit at the main kitchen table

Die Frühstückseier und der Espresso waren perfekt 👌

• IULIIA (10/5): - This is a wonderful place to stay in Sicily! The room was clean, and the shared kitchen and lounge were always accessible. There’s also a rooftop terrace perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, with a stunning view. The beach is just a short walk away. Giulio and Rosario were amazing hosts, they helped us check in even though we arrived at an unusual time, and gave us great recommendations on the best beaches, places to eat, and things to see. They were always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended! -
• Thierry (6/5): En décalage avec ce qui nous avait été vendu - Nous avons aimé l’accueil et la passion de nos hôtes à mettre en avant les activités de leur région et la terrasse sur le toit et sa vue panoramique Nous n’avons pas apprécié le bruit permanent de la circulation empêchant de dormir fenêtres ouvertes jusque tard dans la nuit. L’absence d’une bouteille d’eau lors de notre accueil et d’un frigo dans la chambre, mais surtout la finesse de la cloison séparant notre tête de lit de la douche de la chambre voisine. En effet nos voisins sont rentrés à 3 h du matin et nous avons ainsi pu suivre pendant 3/4 d’heure leurs toilettes respectives. La description “Booking” situe le B&B en front de mer mais ce dernier est situé dans un quartier en retrait du bord de mer!

De plus, Giulio et Rosario sont d'un accueil extrêmement chaleureux et très disponible, ce qui est très appréciable. Ils n'hésitent pas à nous donner des conseils et bonnes adresses.
