Guest Reviews
- Natalie Lauren (8/5): Great apartment and location for our stay - Great location for Heaton park, perfect apartment for our needs. Clean and comfortable. Some of the electronic equipment was very outdated (the alarm clock, the phone). But this didn’t impact our stay in anyway, just an observation.
- Joseph (8/5): - Location to Heaton Park
- Louise (8/5): - The apartment was clean and tidy and close to Heaton Park. The guy who checked us in was over powering! Like he didn't trust us to not pinch towels or break anything! The £170 holding fee was excessive on top of £245 for one night. I had to fill in my name and address which the guy already had from booking.com, I could have just confirmed the details were correct! Wasted about 30 minutes inside our room going through simple things like you have two floor standing towels for getting out of the shower, one for you and one for your son....really!! He made a point of telling me "women" set off the smoke alarm with their hair spray, I told him twice I don't use hair spray or body spray - very intrusive.
- Stephen (8/5): Casper the friendly ghost - I liked it wasn't far from Heaton park, were our concert was being held at. Upon arrival the owner met with us and said he was ghost, which freaked out my wife and sister in-law,then we proceeded to our rooms, then we had to fill in forms, which I felt was unnecessary as all of my details are on booking.com,after filling in the forms, the owner reappeared about 40 minutes later because he was dealing with other guests that had arrived, told us we had to put down a down payment of £170 per couple incase of any breakages and also asked did we bring our passports, which apparently we where told in a message on the day from booking.com?
After putting the down payment down,we all proceeded to get ready, put on some music and poured a couple of drinks, the music wasn't loud because we all heard a noise in another room,so we all walked together and the owner was in the kitchen, pretending to be a ghost again moving/floating plates which really freaked us out,he laughed and walked out the room.
After the concert finished we came back to our rooms and went to bed, only to be woken up with door bells being pressed,so we all ran down stairs just before we got to the front door,a white car drove off, down the path.
At this point my wife and sister in-law wanted to go home now but we managed to talk them out of it,by saying we will leave first thing in the morning.
As we were leaving in the morning,we put our keys in a special box for the owner to collect,we closed the front door and noticed that a KFC had been delivered but no-one has collected it,the name on the receipt said Mr N Bates.
- Zoe (10/5): - We were attending Oasis gig in heaton park perfect location just a short walk down the main road.
Operator was friendly and very knowledgeable of location.
Comfy nights sleep with added extra of Yorkshire tea in the morning!!!
We only stayed here for the night literally just to sleep after the gig.
Thank you for a comfortable stay.

- Davide (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean and modern and the bed was huge
- Kingdon (7/5): Good - Location Dated
- Suzanne (10/5): A lovely relaxing stay, excellent facilitates, very reasonably priced, would come again! - The property was really spacious and modern.
The apartment had everything that we needed and more! The price was very reasonable for a weekend day in Manchester.
The bed was really comfortable, and it was a really warm and cosy apartment.
Our host was lovely and met us at the door and explained everything that we needed to know for our stay.
Parking and access great, nice and quiet off the main road, not noisy.
Really really impressed with La Suisse apartments and will be staying again! Not applicable
- Chirag (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belinda (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff Quite far from town
- Wendy (10/5): Excellent overnight stay - Very well kept apartment, scrupulously clean, great location close to Heaton Park.
Our apartment had an equipped kitchen, good sized bedroom with en suite bathroom, and relaxing area with nice new carpets and flooring throughout.
The bathroom was beautiful and had a great size, modern walk in shower amongst other modern fixtures and fittings.
Nice little touches like shower caps, shower gels, tea and coffee etc were provided.
The owner is a very pleasant gentleman with lots of local knowledge- inc bus routes and amenities, which he's very happy to share with you to enable a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Very recommended by myself and my friend. We'd definitely stay here again.
- Maija-liisa (7/5): Comfortable overnight stay and would be ideal for longer periods as self catering base - Close to visiting family in Prestwich.
- Luke (1/5): Bad -
- Vivien (10/5): Great for Heaton Park - Very helpful host and explained everything well, close to Heaton Park and a Tesco to pop to also Nothing
- Juan (8/5): A comfortable stay with very amenable host -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Good welcome, everything explained. The apartment was clean and tidy. Very quiet location
- Patrick (1/5): Bad - Didn't stay This place is a halfway house with criminals staying . Awful place avoid at all costs
- Adam (5/5): Ok if just sleeping there for a quick stop, wouldn't stay longer than night. - Extremely close to Heaton Park, set back off the road. The place is out dated, the old looking TV didn't work in the bedroom. There were empty cans of alcohol still in the bin from the people pervious. Took a while filling in the forms, and he mentioned a bond but I'd heard nothing about it so didn't pay. Shower broke but I fixed it.
- Mohamad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandr (9/5): Superb - Management, housekeeping
- Glen (3/5): Poor -
- Evan (7/5): Okay, but nothing special. Nice living space for someone who wants it. - It was in a great location, plenty of bars and restaurants near by with easy commute around the city and good public transport links.
There was plenty of space for me to enjoy, a lounge /dinning room with tv and good channels too. Lovely powerful shower, and a large kitchen too. Separate bedroom.
It was as lovely and quiet, respectful people staying at the property, no problem with any disturbances.
Comfy couch, nice and warm, very quiet place to get some peace and quiet. In the bedroom, there was no TV to watch in bed, however there was one in the living room, but I personally feel like it’s nice to watch tv in bed though. Instead of a TV in the bedroom, I stared at a creepy looking Victorian painting all night, which was on the wall.
The bed was good quality, fresh and clean, I couldn’t get comfortable in it though because it’s smaller than what I’m used to. I tend to enjoy a king size bed as I am a 6 foot grown man.
The bathroom was lovely, however it had no bath tub, and facilities to have a bath, only a shower. I personally really do enjoy having a hot bubbly bath.
It’s nice to have the opportunity to choose from a bath and shower.
It smelt mouldy in the hallway as I arrived at the house during check in.
One last thing, a spider in the sink upon my arrival, which looked like it had been dead for weeks. I do not like spiders.
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Suttkan (1/5): Unprofessional owner - The room was ok but the water system was so noisy! Kept me awake all night, the heats was cut off at night and came back in the morning about checking out time! Was horrible freezing as they set the timer on. The owner of that apartment was very bossy about things, as I paid the booking. Com the room already and should be done by then but that service apartment owner went in to the room with me (as I am on my own and I’m a woman was there for work training) he walked around in the room then asked me many questions and wanted me to sign the contract (1 night 😖) then he asked me for card details so he want to freeze my money in my bank account for £160, I was so confused coz in other places won’t do this much money, I said no , That’s about 7pm . How the hell this old man still walked around in the room I paid and I was on my own! Not professional at all. Very bad experience and was very scary ever. He was so weird. Tried to show me how to use a microwave toaster and etc. in that time I was so tired and wanna rest, but he won’t leave me alone for like 40 minutes! It was ridiculous. Do not go to this place!
- Abdulhadi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Thu (8/5): Very good -
- Ricky (1/5): Would not recommend this place - Nothing Aweful staff
- Lorraine (8/5): Very good - Proximity to what we needed Quite an old building, although clean we did find a few things not to our liking
- Gemma (7/5): Comfortable, clean and convenient. - The manager who greeted us on arrival was lovely and very helpful. The apartment was perfect for what we needed as it’s only a short walk to the metro into Manchester City Centre. The apartment was comfortable and clean, although we didn’t end up spending too much time in it.
- Jennifer (10/5): Fantastic host, fantastic apartment, we will definitely be back!! - Fantastic host, Michael was such a lovely man and was well informed, in regards to our stay. The Superior Apartment was very well presented and was really close to the Metro, so we were able to go directly to the AO Arena. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Matt (10/5): Relaxing, quiet and very comfortable - Location was close enough to my partners home, which meant she could come over to see me etc.. it was well set out with everything you could need and the host was a really lovely gentleman and very informative of all facilities. Nothing at all.
- Aurangzeb (3/5): Poor -
- Jamal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (4/5): Very convenient but not very pleasant. This property over promised and under delivered. ‘Luxury’ it ain’t. - Location to Heaton Park / family
Plenty of facilities kitchen etc, so from that perspective it was value for money, but all we needed was a room. I failed to do my due diligence with this one. It was billed as a ‘luxury’ but that is certainly not a word that came across my mind. Very old fashioned / dated and had more of a hostel / B&B / institutional feel to it. The biggest negative was that the previous guests were smokers and the smell of stale smoke & tobacco was overpowering. I was told this by the host.
Checkin was very slow ~25mins. Also had to fill out forms, provide signature etc which I have never done with previous Booking.com bookings.
Certainly surprised at the Booking.com 4 star rating. My experience wasn’t that and I am a frequent traveller and avail of a range of accommodation (from basic to luxury). On this occasion / trip I was trying to keep an eye on cost. In future I will go back to what I know - with Premier Inn
- Jason (2/5): Very poor -
- Hetmar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - Was not clean Was not clean there were insects and spiders everywhere
- Colin (9/5): A brief yet comfortable & relaxing overnight satay - The location was suitably signposted & easy to find. The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and appropriately adorned. There was enough space for onsite parking.
- Waseemz (7/5): Good - Their very strict Policies by taking extra details including bank details , filling and signing formats . Requesting complete bank cards details including security code !!!
Very old building and several spiders.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Booked last minute due to being let down at Cheetham Hill 2 hours before check in. On arrival the host Michael was very -
- Raymundo (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness/Good place/clean and tidy all facilities.the land lord is very kind./ Just a bit noise outside appartmrnt.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good - Nice host, very comfy bed. Free parking. Would stay again.
- Ares (6/5): Great place.. owner needs to learn about customers personal space and information - Clean, comfy bed. Well kept and everything we needed The staff…. Greeted by a lovely fellow, warm and inviting. However very over explanatory on everything and made my wife feel uncomfortable by the amount of time he spent in the apartment explaining every detail. We only stayed one night and really didn’t need a half hour explanation on everything.. then came the form!!! We was asked for ID which we found a little strange seeing as we paid upfront with all our details but then he wanted us to sign a form with all our details again PASSPORT NUMBER! Long card number and security code from my bank card!! What?!?! That was crazy least to say we didnt give him the right details.. the form states if we leave the apartment UNTIDY he will charge us.. has no price of the charge… and wanted us to sign to give him full permission to charge what ever he wanted.. this is illegal! And i know he will respond to this and thats fine.. but you cannot ask for these details pal.. not at all.. we were sadly in a rush or i would have told him NO.. instead i just faked to just to get rid of him as he just hung around. Asking questions like “what coffee we drink?” After the form and the long ling stay from the owner. My wife felt very uneasy and uncomfortable the whole stay.. never have we been intimidated like that and we travel almost every weekend across the country.. lovely place dont get me wrong.. but fella back off a little from your guests we are not the first people to say this.. get rid of that unlawful awful form and back away from your guest… they will have a much better stay
- Suzanne (7/5): Clean and convenient- pleasant host - Convenient Bit worried about security- door lock to apartment seemed flimsy- some decor needed updating
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (8/5): A peaceful place to stay close to Manchester - The host met us at the apartment and gave us a very detailed run down of the on site facilities and local amenities in the area which was a nice personal touch. The apartment itself was very nice, slightly old fashioned but had excellent facilities including a great shower, comfortable living room, spacious bedroom and a decent sized kitchen. You could easily spend a week here. Location was very quiet up a grand driveway off the main road so felt very peaceful and secure. Great location for getting the bus straight into Manchester and ideally situated for heaton Park where we did the Tough Mudder. All in all a great stay. The building itself is a little dated and could do with a bit of TLC but it is very clean and didn't detract from our stay too much.
- Saleem (9/5): Excellent -
- Hazel (9/5): Superb -
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Flavia (9/5): excellent. service and state of the house. - We really enjoyed the building itself and the surroundings of it; it was very peaceful and beautiful. Our room had been newly refurnished and had a new bathroom, making life very easy. The bus stop that takes you to the service apartments is also in front of the manor. Overall a really nice experience.
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (10/5): The stay exceeded our expectations - It was a great location for Parklife, within walking distance. The host was super helpful too.
- James (5/5): Dated facilities and appearance, but a great location. - Friendly host and clear instructions for contacts and local amenities.
Easy contact-free check out with drop box for keys. Check in process long and very manual with form filling.
Room had been smoked in by previous guest so while apartment was affected.
Not many plugs - and all were always on, no switches
- Alastair (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (5/5): Passable - Clean. Allowed late check in. Weird check in with the owner where I had to fill in forms with all the same information as they already had, it was 11pm and I was on my own.
- Olivia (8/5): Very good -
- Ronnie (8/5): Property offers first class facilities and is ideal if you wish to stay in Prestwich. -
- Mark (10/5): Clone Roses - Fantastic location, right by Heaton Park. Can't think of anything.
- Carolyn (10/5): very good stay ideal for heaton park which was the reason for the visit - very nice
- Alison (7/5): Good - staying in Manchester for work, and the location was perfect for my commute
- Martin (8/5): Very good - meticulous pleasant host and lovely clean and warm apartments. surrounding area like many city suburbs. A bit pricey considering the location.
- Douglas (8/5): Good location - Good location just off the motorway, private parking. Facilities we used were good. We only stayed 1 night so didn't use everything, excellent WiFi. Didn't find anything we didn't like, but it could do with a refurb imo.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - not enough plug sockets
- Elhadi (9/5): Superb -
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional - How cosy it was. Like a little home from home. Nothing.
- Sonya (7/5): good basic amenities, spacious, excellent self service facilities - clean and spacious and nice and warm bit far from the city centre
- Jordan (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Josh (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (7/5): Disappointed and not worth the money - Location I had to sleep on the sofa because the bed was so uncomfortable.
There wasn’t a streaming service on the tv. A bit strange, in my experience normally there is a Netflix connection at the very least.
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Ina (10/5): excellent place to stay would stay their again . nice and quiet , but not to far from the city. - very clean every essential that you needed .
not far from a lot off attractions .
taxi service available near by. don’t think I could fault the apartment.
- Laura (8/5): Clean, cozy, everything you could need facilities wise, good wifi. - The owner was there when we arrived to give us the keys and was extremely pleasant and helpful. We particularly appreciated that he had put the heating on in our apartment for us arriving and it warmed up very quickly. Very good wifi - 106MBPS. The ‘check-in’ took 40 minutes. This is absolutely unnecessary, especially considering we were only staying one night. We also did not like having to provide card details that are held in a physical record.
- Maunika (9/5): Superb -
- Evie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Enjoyable stay, host was very helpful. - comfortable serviced apartment, parking available. Priced about right. Nothing.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was spotless, well furnished, decorated to a high standard and quiet. Owners where very friendly and helpful. Was happy to stay in a place that didn't smell of lingering smoke and had no remnants of previous customers. Nice place. Oh and the bed was insanely comfy. An really think of anything that we didn't like
- Kathryn (2/5): Very poor -
- Lauren (8/5): Very good -
- Abdul (10/5): Fairly Priced Comfortable Serviced Apt - The host was very nice and accommodating The property could be improved with some modernising
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Paula (5/5): Passable - Good location for access to Manchester by bus or tram. Very clean Dated decor
- David (9/5): Excellent find just out of centre - 1 of 6 apartments, a 15 min taxi (£12), from centre. Michael the host could not be more professional or pleasant.
Like a home from home, comfy lounger, nice kitchen, comfy bed and good shower.... will stay again when in Manchester! Nothing really.... all we needed.
