• Alexis (8/5): Très propre, calme, bien placé, vue au top !👌 - Très propre, au calme, bien placé, bon accueil et vue époustouflante. Côté équipement, c'est vétuste, mais sinon rien a dire, bonne literie. Il faisait extrêmement chaud ces jours là, et il y'avait bien un ventilateur, un peu a la peine pour refroidir l'ambiance en ce jour de canicule.

• William (6/5): Property is ok. Conveniently located. - This is a somewhat tired property. It was reasonably clean, the bed was OK. I had a lovely view of a small verdant valley of the creek for which the hotel is named. The property is walkable to everything you might want to see in Venice.

• Peter (10/5): - A unique old hotel with tons of character in a wonderful town, all discovered by needing a place with parking not far from the Nice airport. Maybe not for folks who want a familiar brand-name experience, which can be found almost anywhere. La Lubiane is more quaint with not very contemporary style. Think old furniture and carpeting. But the vibe for us was like a 1950s French movie and the terrace alone had a view, of mountains and the old bridge, that was incredible. A perfect spot for coffee or wine and maybe trying to write like Hemingway. They even had free vintage postcards of the place and were generous in letting us use the bathroom and parking after checkout. In short, La Lubiane and Vence were unexpected highlights of a European trip that had many.

• Daniel (8/5): HOTEL à l'ancienne - Jai remercié mon hôte car il a été très à l'écoute, serviable et sympathique. Hôtel à l'ancienne, rustique "dans son jus". Etablissement calme lors de mon séjour d'une semaine. Bien situé. Très bon petit-déjeuner "à la Française". Lit refait correctement tous les jours, c'est agréable...Sécurité correcte, emplacement parking non fermé mais bien placé visible. Alors pourquoi n'ai-je pas coché "l'excellence" pour cet établissement : à cause des poussières trop présentes partout... Dommage. Mais j'y reviendra avec plaisir, rapport qualité/prix intéressant pour sa situation géographique proche de la montagne et de la mer à quelque 20 minutes au voiture (Cagnes sur mer...)

Ça fait du bien de trouver encore de vrais petits hôtels, sans conception et décoration aseptisées, avec des cadres au mur et des plantes dans les couloirs !
• Elara (10/5): - Short walks into the old town and to the Matisse chapel. Parking was easy. I had a good meal across the street but I could have tried any of a dozen reputable restaurants within a mile. The double room had a great view and private bath. No tv or radio but wi-fi was strong.

Kjempe hyggelig personalet, veldig bra beliggenhet. Noen minutter gange til sentrum, Auchan et steinkast derifra og en god kebap. Anbefaler.

Would go again but only with assurances that I would have a room facing away from traffic and with window for the bathroom etc

Les tapisseries et les meubles sont d'un autre temps, mais le tout donne un petit côté nostalgique pas déplaisant du tout. La chambre et petite mais très propre. Et surtout la vue est magnifique ! Avec plein de chants d'oiseaux. Et la personne à l'accueil est vraiment charmante et fais tout pour que votre séjour soit agréable !

Plein de souvenirs de jeunesse, de nostalgie qui reviennent, jusque dans les porte-clés des chambres ! C'est tranquille, cozy, confortable et l'accueil très sympathique. On y est bien !

Cozy, with a nice terrace to enjoy the sunset and not far from the old town of Vence, which is so romantic. You transfer into the vintage France in a moment, full of paintings and cute decor And they have a nice coffee!
