Frobus (7/5): Enjoyed my stay! - Location is closed to the beach. Shops are within walking distance. Accommodation was just what I was looking for. They moved me to the top floor where I had a view of the ocean. The place is quiet. I enjoyed my stay here for the price I paid. It was worth it.

Oben im Zimmer hatte ich kein WLAN so musste ich immer nach unten und die Dame, die unten an der Rezeptiondienst hatte, hat ständig die Augen verdreht. Das war nicht schön.

Had to purchase cleaning materials, uitilities to use in the so called kitchen. After payment is made, they inform you that you have to pay a exstra R80 pd for parking, and R500 for damages, I dont know what you can damage for the owner clearly does nothing to improve the conditions. And also the place is also used for other pleasures, which you are forced to listen to. Dont even know if they comply to safety measures.

It was so bad that we did not even check in. If the property was not advertised on Booking.com I would go so far as to say it was more appropriate as a "house of ill repute". The manageress even said to me "this is much more of a cheap back packers establishment than a guesthouse". Shocking to have the manageress admit to this!! When the manageress admits that freely then you know that they are admitting to misrepresenting the property!! Totally unacceptable and we want our money back in full immediately. Booking.com should immediately remove this property to avoid further embarrassment and negative reviews. It reflects very badly that Booking.com do not have a certain standard they try and uphold

Unit's devider is so thin that you can hear everything the other tenants do and say. Although the stay was reasonable at R1300 per night, I would recommend they do a little bit more to make it feel like home.

The mice running in the roof at night the shower the water doesn't drain immediately 1 wine glass the bedding is not really white. From the previous night my hair was damp of the shower this morning the lady at reception came to see if nothing was damaged in order to get our damage fee back my hair stained the pillow case a bit. I ensured her that it will come if washed she asked me to wash it so she can see I'm the client and I've never ever been more disgusted and appalled by such engagement. The night the lady at reception the WiFi for some reason wasn't working my partner left to ask for help but, she didn't know how to help at all. The hall camera was making a noise saying please connect the entire night and nothing was done about it absolutely nothing. These people should really feel ashamed of such low class services.

Leverne (1/5): Suspicious Behavior - My friend who stayed there sent photos of blood stains that were analysed by a forensics expert who it said was old blood. She was charged a measly R50 for damages that can be cleaned easily. They refused to submit to any legal demands. According to police who attended to the situation, the guest houses in the area run this as a scam against solo female travelers.

WE DIDNT STAY THERE, THAT WAS HARD URNED MONEY WAISTED, AND BOOKING.COM, WELL I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. THIS WAS THE WIRST EXPERIENCE EVER.

There was no hot water to shower with,water ice cold. No provision made for load shedding in terms of a generator. The shower drain is stinking,I can't explain the smell. No remote for the TV No swith on the bed side lamp. Everything, cant think of anything positive. Will definitely not book in this place again. Can't believe that it's part of the western cape tourism board. You should maybe you do and inspection and see for yourself. The pics it shows on the website is completely deceiving compare to the reality, will never book a room in a place that's not recognized again.

Feedback: I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Bedrock Accommodation, which I booked through your platform. Unfortunately, the property was nothing like the photos displayed on the reservation page. Upon arrival, I was shown to a room that I could not accept due to its extremely poor condition. The room had a strong smell of urine, the bed appeared unclean, and the artificial grass carpet was dirty and foul-smelling. Additionally, the room was located in a dark, stuffy downstairs corner with limited natural light and no fresh air. After raising concerns and making multiple phone calls to management, I was eventually upgraded to an upstairs room. While this room was somewhat better, with cleaner bed linen, a balcony, and proper ventilation, and a fan, it was still far from satisfactory. The bathroom in the new room had broken tiles, and the shower area was mouldy, with dirty green tiles and grouting. As a result, I was unable to use the shower during my stay. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing, especially for a New Year’s getaway. The condition of the property and the misleading online representation have left me questioning the credibility of the listing. I kindly request that you review this property to ensure it meets the standards expected on your platform and prevent others from having a similar experience.
