All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property. While guests who stay at Hoylake Inn are welcome to use the braai/barbecue facilities, we DO NOT ALLOW ANY PARTIES. The barbecue area is closed at 10pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Phakamani (6/5): Decent stop over in East London - The family room is a good size; the location is close to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. They required us to pay a R1000 cash deposit, which was refunded at check out. We were informed of this the day before check in.
Nqabisa (3/5): We enjoyed ourselves at the end. - It was self catering, of which it was fine. I like the location peace and quiet. The 2 bedroom apartment was nice and clean on arrival. The studio room was very dirty on arrival spider webs dust and all. At night the linen was very dirty, smells like sweat and dust. The toilet was smelly. When I told the owner he made me feel like imagining things. The next morning I told the ladies who are house keepers and they cleaned the room and change linen to My satisfaction. I had to always ask for the owner to switch on the geyser and he made me feel like it's the first time I see a geyser and his attitude towards me was not pleasent, he lectured me like a child.

Clean and family friendly 😍. The hosts made the stay so special and enjoyable. Everything is good and the hosts are very warm and welcoming.

Room is awkward. Double door for a single room. Bedside lamps are very bright. Main switch for lights also clustered in one corner.

Judy (4/5): Attention to detail - The host was friendly Lack of attention to detail to ensure a comfortable stay for guests prior to arrival. The room allocated to us had plumbing issues and we had to request the host to move us to another room. Continuous maintenance will defintely boost the facility as I believe it has great potential to attract more clients.
Ntombizodwa (8/5): Keep up with the good work,if I would choose again I would come and stay in your property again - It was a nice weekend away with my friends. We had an awesome warm welcome from the owners of the place. They were both friendly and helpful, they made sure that we enjoyed our stay and even suggested places of entertainment around their place. Their coffee and sugar sachets were minimal in such a way that only one person can have a coffee a day. They improve that part in their rooms.
