- Philip (6/5): Athens - The location is a bit remote and a walk to the sea. The room was spacious and roomy. The owner was helpful with getting an early mirning taxi. Coffee and tea was available in the room and some packaged snacks. Restaurants were hard to find. We had a cancelled floght so had to find a quick room for one night and this location is an easy and close drive to the Athens airport.

The proprietor was beyond helpful during our unexpected diversion into Athens instead of Corfu due to a storm. We arrived very late (23:00), he welcomed us, had a driver take us to/from dinner at a local establishment (so good), arranged taxi for return trip to airport for next morning! The accommodations were top notch, beds comfortable, air con, coffee, tea, small snacks…thank you!! Several sets of stairs, totally manageable but stairs.

(We missed our connecting flight from Athens airport to the island of Paris because our plane arrived in Athens late.) he called a friend who came and got us and took us to wonderful restaurant by the sea, then returned us to the house. He also arranged an early morning cab ride back to the airport to get our connecting flight. Simple but lovely accommodations a quiet neighborhood.
- Adam (10/5): GreenHill was Great - This was a great place for our last night before flying out the next day. It's not easily walkable to restaurants for the evening but you can easily cab to those nearer the water or the owner will help place a delivery order. One of the nicer Greek restaurants even will send a car to pick you up and get you back with no extra charge. This is SO MUCH better than staying at the hotels near the airport with a spacious layout for the family and great balcony. We wish we had gotten in a little earlier to hit the nearby ancient sites. FYI: It really confused our taxi driver that we were going to Artemida, so be sure you insist you're not going into Athens proper.

The rolls, cookies, and other snacks, as well as the orange juice were a nice touch. Walk to the beach was a bit long and of course coming back is all uphill. Then again just about everything in Greece is up a hill.

- Brandy (6/5): - The owner is wonderful and super helpful. He told us several restaurants that were nearby and good to visit. The room was a little underwhelming, though. The bed was squeeky, even if you just moved a little. There is a dog outside that started barking in the middle of the night and woke us up. The parking area is a driveway that is somewhat steep and not really made for several vehicles. It is located in a small town, which is nice, but takes several narrow, windy roads to reach.

- Merav (10/5): Authentic Greek- life experience. - I had 2 large, clean rooms with private, sunny balconies overlooking the beautiful rolling hills and the sea. The host was very kind and helpful. He arranged for traveling services to the airport with his son-in-law who was also very friendly. I definitely want to visit there again but for a longer time.

It was just an overnight stay, but we were comfortable during our quick stay. He went so far as to call a cab for us the next morning because we had a terrible travel experience that included our luggage being lost so we had to get to the airport at a certain time. He took care of us and we appreciate it!

- Elias (5/5): Anyway I had a bad experience - Nothing to be honest it wasn’t for the money I paid for. On website it says free breakfast,2,5 miles away from airport and airport shutter bus but when paid successfully and contacted the provider he said it was old times not now and asked him to remove it from the website then he got angry. Breakfast was so funny and frustrating because upon arrival when I asked him when and where is the breakfast in building he said breakfast is already waiting for all in the room even it’s 23:00 pm and the breakfast wasn’t more than 2 pieces of bread and some butter with jam all in a small plastic bags. Can’t believe it it was such frustrating and ridiculous experience. Anyway I don’t recommend it at all.

- Trf (9/5): Great Stay! - I was traveling alone, 56 year old woman, picking up a rental car and family the following day. Took a train up from Kiato and a taxi from the airport to the property. It was extremely clean, I felt safe, and the owner was efficient helpful and friendly. I will stay again! The taxi driver getting there was awful. Make sure you have the exact address. I even used the FreeNow taxi app, but he claimed that he didn't have the address. He was trying to drop me at some random house! Just make sure you have the address ready. It is in a lovely, quiet area.

- John (10/5): - Sortiris is an incredible host at an incredible property! When our plane landed in Athens it was starting to get late and I was worried about getting into our accommodations because my US phone wasn't connecting to the Greek network as it was supposed to. I called what I hoped was the phone number (found on the web using airport wifi) from the cab and a cheerful Sortiris answered, told us the best way for the cab to find the property and assured me that he would be there to let us in. When we arrived he took us to our beautiful room with a birdseye view of Athens. Every little thing had been thought of and he even graciously provided a few extras that we needed. The next morning we woke up to the breathtaking view of the city, with a glimpse of the Aegean Sea at the horizon. Sortiris had arranged a taxi for us and after a lovely breakfast on the balcony we made it to the airport in plenty of time for our connecting flight. In a country that sets a high bar for hospitality, Sortiris and Artemis Greenhill exceeded all of our expectations. Ehpheristo -- we hope to see you again on another visit!

Although I did not walk all the way to the Sea (because I had been up for 24 hours travelling), I did walk far enough to know I could have easily walked to the nearby beach and small beach town that I could see from the room balcony. Also from that balcony, I could also see the beautiful hilly scenery and the pretty, mainly white stucco homes of the village

The hostess was extremely friendly. She ordered an evening meal to suit us. She even played with the children. My 8 year old granddaughter says it was the best hotel of her stay! The breakfast was a bit disappointing. One of the rooms was a bit small for the number of guests.

He was very friendly and helpful and even gave us a couple of beers for free. The room was spacious and comfortable and a lovely continental breakfast was provided. The room was spotlessly clean and had a small kitchenette/eating area. Everything was fine for us but if you are expecting a chain hotel, this is not like that, more of an old fashioned pension and very charming.

A large room in an older house not too far from the airport, but many twists and turns of the road to get there. Don’t go without GPS! Basic cold breakfast waiting in the refrigerator, French press or instant coffee.

- DayTrip57329463239 (8/5): Owners were a nice end to a long and horrible day - Warm and inviting. Host took the time to carry our luggage in and introduce us to all amenities. Breakfast supplies were already prepared. She sheets and blankets smelled like fresh linen. It was very inviting and relaxing . Nothing fancy, just felt safe.
- Shorter (8/5): Family organization with compassion - The hostess was waiting for my arrival and walked us us stairs. We had a awful, scary taxi ride and to have the owner and his wife waiting for us made me feel so safe. I would have liked a tV in my room.

- Son (9/5): It was a good experience. - The host was waiting for us so there is no problem with getting the key. We did not have much time to chat or getting to know the area so it is not much to say about. It is a little far from the airport so adding the taxi for both directions to the airport might eliminate any advantage that one has on the price. Perhaps a long term stay will be better.

The bathroom sink faucet was completely loose. The shower did not have a mount for the sprayer hose. Poor WiFi

- Wendy2801 (9/5): Lovely stay - Our host was amazing. He was so friendly and accommodating. He organised a taxi for us as we were leaving at 5.00am. There was a lovely garden that he took great pride in. I know some people have commented that it is in the middle of nowhere, but we just wanted somewhere fairly close to the airport for a night. We found the property tranquil and peaceful, which is just what we needed after spending a few days in busy Dubrovnik. Nothing, really. The pillows were uncomfortable.

The host was extremely friendly and accommodating to our very late check in and booked our taxi to the airport for us. The beds were small and uncomfortable but okay for a one night stay. The stairs inside were dodgy and small and very hard to get luggage up. It was extremely convenient to have breakfast and coffee provided in the room. The beds are very small and uncomfortable

- Lucia (9/5): Short stay but very good experience - The location is close to the airport, we spent few hours before our plane but the host is brilliant, met all our requirements also the difficult time of arrival.He made himself available for check-in and arranged for us a taxi to reach the airport. Breakfast simple to be made in the rooms but fine if you’re staying for short time. Room perfectly clean and comfortable.Thank you!

- Thomas (10/5): - Considering this was the closest place I could find near the airport, Artemida is a quiet residential community, sheltered from airplane noise by the mountain. The room was clean, spacious, and restful, with a beautiful patio (top floor). Just what I needed on my layover in Athens. Thank you for the stay!

Communication / coordination with taxi pick up (didn't know where exactly to meet the driver - it wasn't properly communicated)... but all ended up fine and driver was friendly and great in the end.

- Ray (7/5): Helpful owner, managed taxis for us, and room was clean but basic. - Owner was very accommodating to our very late arrival. He met use at the taxi at 2 AM, due to a late flight. And he helped us manage the taxis to/from the airport which was key. The room was solid, but nothing special. He had some bread and cheese and juice and coffee in our room when we woke up. Nothing special, but served the purpose. Overall, he was helpful, room was OK, and it was close to the airport. Room was OK, but basic. Served the purpose.

- Anonymous (10/5): you have to be a good driver to go there the only way to get out of there is back up down hill. - very hard to drive there. stiff roads. hard and dangerous to drive and park a car. when we parked up hill on the narrow stiff road, a neighbor blocked us from driving out. took me long time to get around.
