• Isabelle (5/5): Logement à méliorer - dessus de la mer. Le logement est bien entretenu, propre. Bien placé dans la ville avec une belle vue. Rita est très sympathique et avenante. En toutes objectivités, voici mes remarques : Difficile à trouver (Mettre dans le GPS : 269 rue Santa Maria, la petite rue Beco do Socorro n°5, est juste à la perpendiculaire). Inconfort général du logement. Difficile de cuisiner par manque du minimum nécessaire. Literie inconfortable. Peu de rangement. Les commodes ont une partie des tiroirs déjà remplis ou condamnés. Même chose dans la salle de douche, pas d'espace de rangement libre ou de quoi poser le nécessaire de toilette. La tente permanente de réception du restaurant en contre-bas du gîte, va de paire avec la nuisance sonore du week-end. La mini terrasse ne permet pas d'y rester quand il pleut.

• Johan (8/5): Ruistig plek vlak bij centrum Funchal. - Was er ruistig en toch dicht bij het centrum van Funchal. Fijn dat taxi je kan ophalen en brengen. Bed was een beetje te klein.

• Henri (9/5): Vriendelijke en behulpzame host op ideale locatie! - Appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, met uitzicht op zee aan de zonnige zuidkant. Op loopafstand van heerlijke restaurants en centrum. Een beetje een hard bed, maar toch heerlijk geslapen!

• Matthew (7/5): Beautiful place, needs some updating. Great while the sun is shining. - Fabulous location, excellent sun terrace, good kitchen, very nice owner. Bed is a bit small and not the most comfortable with mattress cover, sofa bed very uncomfortable. Table very small Shower is small. No sun loungers on beautiful sun terrace.
• Eryn (10/5): Great apartment and location. Highly recommend! - Such a great location and we loved the terrace overlooking the ocean and old town fort. Beautiful little spot! The kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of space in the flat. Everything we could need for a week stay was provided. The apartment was very clean and there was even a fan provided for sleeping at night, which was great because it got very hot in the apartment even with the windows open. I would recommend adding a Google Maps link or coordinates to the flat location as the address provided is invalid on Google, and this made finding the place very difficult at first. There were no instructions on how to get there or nearby businesses mentioned that we could use as a reference. The invalid address also posed problems for driver pickups and drop-offs from the airport, for example, and we ended up having to walk a fair bit from the wrong location. I wish the host had provided more detailed instructions ahead of time to avoid this.
• Alexander (10/5): Unmissable place to stay in Funchal - The view of the house was incredibly beautiful. Rita, the owner of the house, is one of the best hosts I have ever seen. She solved any problem we had immediately. She made sure the house was clean, even though we made such a request almost every day. I really felt like my own home. I felt like Rita was my mother, she was such a warm woman. The house is perfect for its price. It is very close to everywhere, bus stops, restaurants, supermarkets, cable cars. It is magnificent. We loved it very much and if we come to Madeira again and there is space, we would like to stay in the same house.
• Petra (9/5): - Die Lage ist fantastisch. Nähe der Altstadt mit Restaurants, Shops und Bushaltestellen. Rita, die Gastgeberin ist herzlich und jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar. Das Apartment ist niedlich klein, mit allem was man braucht. Der winzige Balkon ist Gold wert. Die steilen Treppen ( aber das wußten wir ja).

• Katarzyna (10/5): Great location, super clean and cosy flat with a wonderful host. We’d love to come back. - The apartment is located just by the historic fort, a city beach and the marina. It is right in the center of the old town, with restaurants and shops super close by and open till late. The apartment was very well furnished and very clean, cosy place ideal for families. A well equipped kitchen and washing machine made our stay stress free. The host Rita is wonderful and very friendly, she took great care of us and helped us organized our transport from and to the airport. A very engaged host that cares for her guests, we felt great. It is a great place but like in most of Madeira you have to take a lot of stairs to get there, so have that in mind.
• olivia (10/5): Un emplacement extraordinaire tenu par une perle dénommée Rita. - L'emplacement est juste exceptionnel et que dire de Rita qui est une femme en or. Elle nous a trouvé une voiture de location, un transfert pour l'aéroport et un autre hébergement à Funchal car elle n'était pas disponible pour toute la durée de notre séjour. En effet l'appartement est presque toujours complet et c'est bien normal. La vue de la terrasse est sûrement la plus belle de tout Funchal. Merci encore Rita pour votre aide et votre gentillesse 😘 Rien du tout. Tout était parfait.

• Barbara (8/5): Very good - Rita was welcoming and helpful. The property is extremely well located and was an absolutely superb spot for observing the New Year fireworks. The property is fairly well equipped and bed is very comfortable. It suited me very well.the balcony and sun terrace are real assets. Whilst everything is OK it would be good to have a really comfortable chair to relax in. The sofa bed is adequate but not over comfortable for a long period.
